Problems from the very start. Expected much more from American made range and the high price. Oven was broken at initial hookup, would not shut off at all. Prongs that hold the burners on have slipped down and no longer hold the burners on securely. Igniter control module has been replaced once already but continues to click for several minutes after burner has lit. One knob will not stay on after the oven repair, appliance guy couldn't even get it back on. Griddle cooks very unevenly, smoking hot in the back and warm in the front. Can't really return it once uncrated and installed. All problems with the 1st year of use. Repairman was reluctant to return 2nd trip because he never got paid for the 1st repair from American Range.. I had to prepay labor for 2nd visit before they would schedule appointment. Only positives are looks pretty and its easy to clean. Would never buy again or recommend to anyone.

I've been dealing with this issue for almost a month. Our infinite switch broke off and the oven knob and was replace but broke again as the technician was still on our street leaving our home. Per Rafael at American Range instructions, the silver ring behind the knob "should" have been removed before it was installed even though the the technician was told that it was installed correctly. By not removing the ring it causes too much pressure on the knob which makes it breaks easily. Clearly this is not suppose to happen after spending $180 for one part. Rafael said he will do a (1) time customer courtesy replacement. He would not provide tracking information or ETA. I've had my stove for 14 years and I've never had any issues until now. Rafael was extremely RUDE and spoke to me as if I knew how to install this part. If/when my oven needs to be replaced just know I will NOT purchase another American Range. Customer service is horrible and that speaks volume of your corporation. After reading the other reviews, I see others are having issues with this company as well.

The worst appliance company in the world . Worst quality appliances specially the ovens very flimsy always breaking down super expensive parts . This company seems to make more money selling super expensive parts for their equipment than selling their products . Absolutely stay away from all American Range equipment you have been warned this is a very scrupulous company very shady practices . Horrible customer service all around horrible experience huge mistake buying their products will throw all their equipment in the garbage and invest in new reliable equipment. How these companies stay in business is beyond me Before you buy their products price out some parts do your research before you buy anything they are outrageous no conscious just so you can see what your dealing with .

I purchased a $3000 lava rock grill from American Range and only used the unit for 90 days before it totally broke down. The crates that hold the lava rocks have broken all up and the frame that holds lower crates is burnt out in sections so the whole frame of unit is bad. We normally use the Atosa lava rock grill (as it is about 1/3 the price) but we purchased this unit for the so-called heavy duty that it claims to be. We contacted the Warrant Service unit, a guy named Alfred, responds with the following: "This is unfortunate, I am afraid this is a non-warranty. The reason this happened is simple; these units are not designed to use too much lava rock. This is the result of using too much rock. You are supposed to use only one loose layer of rock, the rock is there to evenly distribute the heat and to preventflare-ups. If this is not done, then what happens is a barrier is created and instead of the heat rising, the heat is blocked. This will cause damage to the following;Burner box, Bottom Grates, Burners, Gas valves, knobs and the list goes on. Regardless, we want to help, I have attached the parts breakdown for this unit, please"They never responded back with any solutions, they never owned up to their garbage product and the scam warranty service they claim to have. What a total waste of money on this garbage product. Its a shame for a company with this reputation to have such a subpar product and subpar service.

Alfred Mendez and Shame Demirjian are completely worthless as a so called customer service rep and the CEO (laughable). They definitely do not care about their customers at all but will be willing to sell you replacement parts non stop once their warranty period runs out. They intentionally slow walk call outs for repair during warranty period, but will some how find time and parts once the warranty is over. This company is a scam, run by scumbag scammers. Avoid at all cost. We got our $20,518 refunded back to our credit card with zero help from these scammers and they still don't want their garbage range back. They could actually use the piece of garbage back at their factory and use it for a demonstration piece on "how not to build a range" The piece of garbage they sent us shocked my wife while she wiped down the top with a dry rag, because it was wired incorrectly at their garbage producing plant, but somehow passed final inspection and testing by them. Shame Demirjian and Alfred Mendez are absolutely worthless much like the garbage they produced

Company has 0 interest if product works or not. As long as they sold you the product they are happy. Don't expect any help from them if there are issues as I have experienced. You are on your own.

I've purchased the ARROB - 4482GR stove yup $12,000 Cdn. The valves on the burners work with precision, that's the good part. The large oven igniter fails on a yearly basis and the grill igniters about every couple years. After calling a service tech in the first time to replace the parts at $500-600 a crack, and watching them drag the stove out from the wall to get to the wiring to change to igniters out was too much. I've got to the point where I rent an air lift (works like a hovercraft) and do it myself. Still the parts aren't cheap. Truthfully for the price I expected a lot more from the design, would I recommend this..Nope. I had a Five Star range prior and no issues in 6 yrs

This company will not stand behind their products. They have the worst possible customer service, and if you have a problem with one of their products, you are on your own. Buy at your own risk

My American range duel French door ovens are 8 years old. I absolutely love them. When my top oven stopped working I was devastated. Had two repair companies out and they were unable to help. Third time is a charm. American range customer service rep Guillermo recommended Elmer with Range O Service. They came out the next day. Had all the right equipment and knowledge of fixing my oven. I am thrilled. Thank you so much American Range.... And thank you Guillermo.

I was sold a defective range and American Range will not take responsibility. I was offered a floor model at a discounted rate, 5%, and it was not disclosed that there were problems with the range. Upon arrival it was noted that the range was bulging on both sides and that the quality control inspection was never signed off. I contacted Customer Service and was maneuvered between various agents without resolving the matter. I asked for an exchange and there was no response. I even contacted Shane Demirjian, the President CEO of American Range, and he never replied. I have not used the range as using it would be accepting an item that arrived faulty. American Range has terrible customer service and has not accepted responsibility for selling a defective range. I am looking into this further with the Better Business Bureau and an attorney because they have obligations as vendors to sell effective products and remedy a matter if their product is defective, especially since quality control was not conducted prior to selling and shipping.
