We are so glad we found Peter to help with our move! He has been knowledgeable, positive, and incredibly helpful at every step of the process.
We met with Peter over a year ago as we started planning our relocation from out of state, and he spent a lot of time orienting us to the different neighborhoods and helping us plan for optimal timing.
Once we arrived on the peninsula, Peter was extremely responsive and dedicated to getting our search started in earnest. His extensive market knowledge was invaluable, and we appreciated that he was always putting feelers out for properties that might be coming on the market and trying to get us in the door early. Peter took us to see many homes, and he was more than happy to show us properties we knew weren’t quite for us, but that we wanted to see to get a better sense of locations, prices, etc. We never felt any pressure to move forward on a property that wasn’t the right fit.
When it came to making offers, Peter offered great advice and tailored his approach to the specific situations. Once we were under contract, he organized all the inspections that we wanted to have completed, which made us feel confident with our decision. Even after closing, Peter has helped us coordinate work we needed done at the house, and even brought packages inside while we were out of town.
Peter has all the qualities we would hope for in a realtor—he is savvy, responsive, a great communicator, and works hard to close deals. He’s also extremely personable, which is important when you’re spending so much time with someone! He was great with our kids, always brought a positive attitude to our search, and even surprised us with thoughtful and generous housewarming gifts. An unexpected move prompted us to list our California home for sale. Physically Living on the East coast posed a large challenge to accomplish our goal. I searched online and came across Peter Boggs website. I called him and immediately I was impressed with his professionalism and sound decision making. I have bought and sold many homes over my lifetime and Peter was by far the BEST Realtor I have ever encountered. Peter was referred to me by my brother and I couldn't be happier with the decision to use him for selling my property. Peter is a hard worker and was on top of everything from day one. He knew exactly what updates to make to get the top dollar for the property without spending any money unnecessarily. He has a network of contractors that did great work, in a timely fashion, and at a great price. Peter oversaw every aspect of the work including designing the landscaping. I pretty much just trusted Peter to make all the right decisions since he has the experience. Some of the things I questioned but at the end of the day letting him make the decisions from paint color to landscaping and listing price was the best decision I could have made. His intuition is spot on when it comes to real estate. The end product was amazing and the house sold for $116,000 over asking price and for much higher than I would have imagined. There were 10 offers on the property with I believe 6 of them coming within the first day. Everything was staged perfectly. The pictures were perfect, the listing was perfect. 2-d room layout, drone photos, beautiful marketing materials. When I tell people everything that Peter did for listing my house they are amazed at how much time he spent. He even went down to City Hall to sort out some inspection issues. I viewed a couple of properties with Peter recently and I can say he is the most knowledgeable and professional Realtor I have ever met. He is the consummate expert on all things Monterey/Pebble Beach and has tremendous experience with all manner of transactions and real estate management. Peter was fantastic to have on the process of selling our house. He gave us a realistic timeline, was very knowledgeable about what our asking price could be, was very fast on meeting with us and developing our sales packet. I called him in the morning asking him to assist with the house sale, and he was at my house later that evening completely prepared. He was ready with sample marketing materials, 3D house scans, and had a list of vendors for the prep process. He helped me to get the house up to standard to meet city requirements, including having his people replace broken doors and siding, inspect the roof, and do a very thorough whole house clean (attached a few photos of repairs). When we listed our house, it sold the first day on the market for over asking price. During the closing process he was always a text or a phone call away; I never once was concerned that I could not reach him. I was so thankful to have an incredible realtor like Peter on my team!

Peter Boggs sold our house in only 2 days on the market and set the highest sale RECORD for the Del Monte Grove Neighborhood of Monterey at $1,175,000! We learned about Peter on Yelp so now we're coming full circle and writing our own review of Peter on Yelp! He really did deliver on all the standard tasks we expect from our realtor, and he overdelivered in a few ways, too. Peter did his homework on our requirements for a home, who we are, and why we like one aspect of a home or neighborhood. Based on those conversations we went through detailed due diligence on 3 properties over the course of a year. Peter did a good job in negotiations, advising us on financial, property and terms. In our second round of due diligence we really put Peter through the wringer taking a negotiation up until 11pm before walking away the following morning at 5:30am. I really appreciate Peter's graceful handling of that process - he was on my side the entire way. When we finally found our dream home in Pacific Grove (on the third try, and a year later) Peter really went above and beyond. We're buying remotely so Peter was our man on the ground handling EVERYTHING for us. He's connected throughout the community to all the services we need; and Peter was the one to meet our various inspection and service folks when we couldn't be in town for the appointments. Hopefully this is our forever home, but if we ever need to buy/sell again in PG, Peter's our realtor!

We found Peter on Yelp based on the great reviews for realtors in the Monterey area, and we weren't disappointed. We've bought and sold several homes over the past 20+ years and Peter has been the most organized one we've come across. Peter is very friendly, has lots of energy/enthusiasm and a positive attitude/character allowed us to get through the process fairly quickly and without headaches. Although we never met in person, we spoke on the phone, via email, and text since we live over an hour away from the property. Peter was recommended by a family member’s realtor in another state. This realtor had never worked with him before, but she heard of his work and reputation. Once we started working with him, everything we heard about him was true. Peter was very professional, personable, thorough, and efficient. Was communicative throughout the whole process and was available for any questions or concerns we had. When I say he is all about his business, I truly mean it. He leaves no stone unturned. We met him Thursday of one week and he had the house on the market by the following Friday. When he told us the house would be on the market within a week we were cautiously skeptical, but he made it happen. When he says something you can trust him to follow through with it.
