Eric and Stacy were amazing to work with!! They were tireless in helping us track down and purchase our forever home. I can't say enough about how glad we were to work with them. They have extensive experience in the area, for example, one house we were seriously considering they had sold twice in the past! They know the neighborhoods, they know what to look out for, they just bring so much to the table. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a smooth experience buying a home.

We have just completed the purchase of our dream home in Monterrey through working with Eric and Stacy Stauffer at Sotheby's International Realty in Pacific Grove. We could not be more pleased with their assistance throughout a 5 month house search and 1 month purchase process. The quick conclusion is that we will strongly recommend them without any hesitation as realtors for our family and fiends and anyone who would be asking us. Please read on for more details.We first encountered Eric at an open house that intrigued us and he immediately impressed us with his honest, direct, and friendly style. We readily decided to explore the possibility of working with him and met him and Stacy later that day in their office. They were clearly very knowledgeable about the market in the larger Monterrey Area from years of local experience. Throughout our search they were highly responsive and informative, providing objective insights into pros and cons with various properties we considered. They were patient as we examined various properties from Yankee Point to Monterrey, including Carmel, Carmel Valley, and Pacific Grove over a 5 month period. They actively sent us listings we might be interested in and showed us any property we wanted to see. Their experience was so broad that it seemed they had sold a property wherever we looked. We never felt any pressure from them to pursue any one property in particular. Rather they clearly worked to help us refine and then support our house purchase objectives.Once we found the right property, Eric and Stacy were extremely helpful throughout the purchase process. They were supportive in the price negotiations and we never felt any pressure to settle overly quickly. Likewise, while working out the details of inspections and requesting the seller to repair or attend to a few things. They met us at the house multiple times to review items, initiated more thorough inspections, and even helped to attend to depleted batteries in detectors. They really pursued due diligence to ensure we were aware of all details in this house. As a result of their careful and expedient work, the escrow closed on time and without any hitches.Over and beyond their professional competences, Eric and Stacy were really easy and enjoyable to work with. They were always appropriate, but casual in their interactions with us. As a result, it was easy for us to communicate nuances and uncertainties in this process. They have our highest recommendation.

I called regarding buying a vacation home and because my budget was "too low" they said they couldn't help me. I have purchased 22 rentals and I have never heard a agent just reject someone the way they did.

I would highly recommend using Eric & Stacy Stauffer for any real estate transaction. I have recently used them for the selling of a tri-plex and single family residence in Pacific Grove as well as buying of another single family residence in Pacific Grove.Their knowledge of the area, their understanding of the selling and buying trends, and most importantly, their ability to go the extra mile to get the deal closed, is unsurpassed.They are definitely not your typical realtors. Eric and Stacy were not out to just get a sale for themselves, but went out their way to assure that the selling and purchasing of property was the right fit for myself and my family. Real estate transactions can be highly stressful situations. It is good to have the right support in your corner....and that is Eric and Stacy.I will be using them again for my next selling and purchasing of property!

My wife and I are planning on retiring in the near future and want to relocate to the Monterey Bay area. Eric and Stacy have been very helpful in recommending neighborhoods within our price range. They have shown us houses that fit our criteria. Although we have not purchased yet, their advice is proving very useful in fine tuning our requirements in order to fit our budget. Also, having two realtors is great for the additional perspective from two points of view!
