WELP here we are...i was in an accident and the insurance company provided me with a rental from this place...Day 1 of retrieving the vehicle is the only reason they are getting 2 stars...I went in and the young lady was courteous and even upgraded my rental from a Altima to a Chrysler 300 (which she didn't have to)...Fast forward to the last week of having the rental they started calling me telling me i needed to return it if not i would pay out of pocket...I advised them that the body shop still wasn't done with my car and HE proceeded to tell me "Its your responsibility to inform the insurance company so they can update the reservation" (like bro what? Isn't that between the insurance company and body shop?) I acknowledged the request called the body shop and the insurance to clarify what needed to be done....3 days later another call (this one a little more aggressive "Sir the insurance company still hasn't updated data base" (So of course you come sideways at someone they wont respond well) i advised him on all i did and also how they should be dealing with insurance company since its their bill...I don't think he liked that because he got very passive aggressive....WITH THAT BEING SAID I HOPE HE READS THIS AND NEXT TIME A SIMILAR SITUATION LIKE THIS OCCURS MAYBE EXPLAIN TO THE CUSTOMER WHY THINGS ARE BEING DONE A CERTAIN WAY AND NOT THE COMMON SENSE WAY...MAKE PEOPLE UNDERSTAND YOUR COMPANY "POLICIES"

This location is so poor. They don't believe in wearing masks. The customer service is always terrible, the lady who I believe is the manager is always having her kids run up and down the store. She never smiles and is always so rude. This is the location on King Drive in Ventura. You should really get rid of her.

If I could give zero stars I would. I booked and paid in advance which was the first problem. I picked up my rental car for a weekend trip only to find the back seat completely sticky and disgusting. I asked the guy to clean it and he stated theres nothing he could do. I was going to be driving around my grandmother and there was no way I was going to be putting her in the back seat with a sticky residue that I had no idea what it was. I requested a different rental- any size or type, and he stated they had nothing to offer, even though there were tons of cars sitting in front of the store and wouldnt be able to give me a refund. Eventually, he took the car around back and "wiped" down the back seat. Clearly you could see that they never cleaned it to begin with due to the crumbs and hair all over the seats and floor. I will never be renting again due to this horrible experience.

This place has poor customer service. Made 3 trips to rent a car. Then when transaction was finalized. The salesperson Derik wasn't much help in letting us know how to use the car. Actually said "I don't know anything about the cars, I just rent them. REALLY NOW?! And once it was returned Derick asked the 84yr old customer to let him know what the mileage was on the car! Honestly, that's his job! Will not recommend this place. Not willing to consider a senior citizen is not all that familiar w/new tech cars.

Terrible service! I called to try to get some information about a one-day rental. The person that answered the phone seemed as if they didn't want to be bothered. They definitely weren't interested in my business. They'll never be bothered by me again, for sure.

Reserved car online and after trying to rush there to pick it up, granted it was close to closing time, employee advised me car not guaranteed and had nothing to rent me. I stopped by Enterprise after closing and thank goodness they were willing to help. Go to Enterprise much better customer service !

This place was far to hard to deal with. Phone rings and rings without anyone answering them some one answers and puts you on hold and no one ever answered. They say they will pick you but that doesn't work. I would not call this place again.

Horrible place I had to get a vehicle while mine was at the Body Shop getting repaired they said to put a debit card as a 50 dollar deposit and I'll be reimbursed 2-3 business days after I returned the vehicle then they say 7-10 business days after I call them to ask them where's my money we'll its been over 20 business days I don't suggest anyone to get a rental from them they lied and said they returned my money well my bank statements are showing that they're lying

First I have to tell a horror story without calling the rental company out. My car gets serviced at a dealership on Auto Center drive and they've always called another car rental service in the area. Every. Single. Time it was a HORRIBLE experience! The last time it took them close to a week to refund 4 extra days because they forgot the rental pick up at the dealership. I heard the service mgr call them so their story of "no one told us" didn't hold water but it took talking to a mgr at the 800 # to get the $ back. Forward to Thursday........After waiting for over an hour for the same rental company to show, I finally said "enough is enough" and googled car rentals in the area and found Hertz. Omar answered the phone and within 5 minutes he was at the dealership. I was on the road in a fab rental with 15 minutes of placing the call. Turning the car back in with Adrian went just as effortlessly. I told the dealership of every experience with the other company (the one mentioned was only one of many) as well as how wonderfully the Hertz experience was and recommended they consider changing who they refer to. Kudos Omar and Adrian! From this point forward, Hertz will be my go to company when I need a rental!
