I hope this reaches the manager for review.
My situation: I bought a new car, went out fishing by the wildlife area in Oroville (1.8 miles away from Brower's), and while I was unpacking and moving some stuff to the trunk, the car door shut on me (since I was parked on the side of the road on a slanted turf) and it auto-locked. Keys inside the car.
The dispatcher, although was responsive, was also extremely dishonest. The first lady said she would call me back once she found a driver. She never did. I had to call back for updates, giving them 20 minutes at a time because I know these things take time. The next lady I spoke to, said she would send the message to the driver and to give him 20 mins. 30 minutes passed, and I had to call back again for updates. Turns out the dispatcher never sent the last message or notification to the driver so he was just on stand by. Then after the service, I was billed $150. When I asked the driver, what are the usual rates after factoring time of day, location and distance, I was quoted a different number, a much smaller number. The driver and I looked at each other and we both knew, that I was being exploited. He felt bad, but said he couldn't challenge the boss's order. I didn't want to make it a big deal, or get him in trouble because he was such a genuine, honest guy who took care of my situation in a professional manner. I only wish him the best. He deserved a tip and shout out, but because of the circumstances, he got none. It's very unfortunate.
My constructive feedback: Let us know what's going on! Call us back and give us updates. And be honest! The dispatcher did not give the final notification for the driver, and he was just waiting on standby. And as for the unfair charge, $150 is not much to me, but I just asked to be treated fairly. There will never be a next time, but I hope you guys correct these behavior and actions for other customers moving forward.

First of all I want to say how wonderful Browers Towing is. Jerod was my driver and he is the most polite and courteous driver. He made sure me and my car were safe. He is the best!!!

Huge shout out to Vic!!! He saved the day! Not only did he get to my vehicle in a fraction of the time it said to expect the tow driver to get there but he followed the directions and had great communication with me. When my vehicle arrived at the shop he was very friendly and efficient. He took the time to ask where I wanted the vehicle and had a smile and a friendly demeanor the whole time!!!!! It’s refreshing to know there are still people out there that have great customer service and enjoy their job.!!!!! Now I do want to make this very clear yesterday I requested a tow because I had a appointment at the mechanic shop for the same vehicle and not only was Darious the tow trucker rude and refused to tow my vehicle because I was not there which keep in mind I’m already at the mechanic shop waiting for my vehicle and clearly can show id and membership card upon arrival but he still refused, even with me face timing and showing proof of who I am. Then he rambled off something said I gotta go. I have another tow. He wouldn’t even let me get two words out so I could’ve told him my husband is just down the road and could’ve showed him the proof . To top it off he damaged my drive way and broke apart the asphalt because he tried to force his truck up vs taking the back entrance. And since I’m already ranting about this incident I had to get a ride home and reschedule my appointment with the mechanic oh and he asked my 16 year old son if he could just drive the car around to olive hwy so he could load it up there. Btw my son does not have his license nor is it his job to fix his screw up. And I even called the office to ask why my vehicle wasn’t getting picked up and she said because I was not there, but to keep short and sweet, she was rude as well and raised her voice and all. I have had AAA for many many years and they obviously third-party their tows and bowers have typically been the service provider and never ever have I had any issues like this where they demanded to see my ID and membership card upon arrival and or refuse. because half the time I was not there and had to leave my car stranded. They would just accept it when they drop my car off.

Vic helped us out late at night over on highway 70 in between Marysville and Oroville. Was quick with the pickup and got it to the house no issues at all! He was extremely nice and funny to talk to while unhooking the car. Thanks a ton Vic, truly appreciate it.

Had to leave a review and give a major shout out to Victor! My car broke down on my home after celebrating my birthday and I requested a tow service through AAA. Within 10 minutes, Victor arrived and helped towed my car back to Chico. The service was prompt and top tier. Thanks Brower's and thanks Victor!

Within 15 minutes of calling the number on my AAA card, Victor showed up to change my flat tire on the side of the road. Way quicker than I expected. What I thought would be a massive wrench in my day ended up being a minor 20 minute inconvenience at the most. Thanks again, Victor!
