What a lucky find about a year ago!!! I have a 1970 Oldsmobile 442. It is a high value car...so who do you go to? These folks at Westside have worked, tuned, tightened, and modified my car. Truly knowledgable about something this important. I completely trust these people and they have done such a great job for me. They help, they call, they explain what needs to be done...and then do it. Pricing is very reasonable and I don't question it. Why? Honesty is hard to come by. But results speak for themselves and my Olds is very happy. Stop by and you might get a peak at some really cool hot-rods! Some of which are theirs!

I sent my car to Westside Garage for repair, the next day I asked on the phone how much the repair would cost, Bobby would not give me a price. He told me the cost of the job would be figured out after they finished. Not being comfortable with not having a price up front, I again asked for a price. He then told me if I didn't trust him I could pick up my car and take it somewhere else. I told him again I was not comfortable with not having a price up front, He then in a pissed off rage told me to pickup my car he would not work on it and he did not want my business. The California Bureau of Automotive Repair States very clearly:When taking your vehicle to the shop for repairs or service, it's important to know your rights. Under California's Automotive Repair Act, you are entitled to:An estimate - Before beginning any repairs, the auto shop must provide you with an estimate showing the estimated price for parts and labor and obtain your authorization. An invoice - After completing all repairs, the auto shop must provide you with an invoice showing the final price for parts and labor.Return of replaced parts - You can request the shop return any parts it replaces on your vehicle, but be sure to ask for those parts before authorizing the estimate. This was my experience with Westside Garage, I was hoping to find an honest classic car builder but this was not the case.

Thumbs up to Bobby G and crew at Westside Garage, did an outstanding job putting a crate motor in my Chevelle. Nice and tidy. The kind of detail I would do if I had the time. Everyone their polite and friendly, a nice bonus. Cheers

Took my 1978 Monte Carlo to get it tuned and Bobby and his crew did an amazing job! They took my car in right away and they didn't charge me so much money! Definitely recommend!

Was introduced to Bobby by a mutual friend because I had just purchased a 1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe and really wanted to connect with someone who had an appreciation for classic cars and had the experience as well. Met with him and explained I was looking for someone to build a permanent business relationship with so that I could have a one stop shop maintaining my car and not have five different peoples hands touching the car and the right hand not knowing what the left hand was doing, Bobby took the time to listen to my concerns, and what I wanted done on the car. He also understood the level of care and attention to detail I expected. I'm very happy to say, he met and exceeded all my expectations and the car runs even better than when I took into his shop. Not to mention when I picked up the car it was returned to me without a fingerprint on the exterior, interior, or even the motor of the car. It was ready for me to enjoy on the street without even having to wipe it down. Thank you Bobby and team for your expert work on my car. Glad I found you and look forward to having you maintain my car in the future. Alex E.

I recently had my 71 Chevelle towed here since I was having some transmission problems. Bobby was able to address the problem and informed me about potential issues the car may have in the future. Most people have the misconception that most shop owners are dishonest, but I can say that is not the case here. They were able to answer all my questions. Gave me the pros and cons of doing certain future modifications. Also how I could get the best performance out of my car. I definitely can say that my car is running better than ever and I will back for some more work. THANK YOU!!!!

I am extremely happy with my service done here, I have a 1990 5.0 Fox Body. The owner of Westside Garage came to greet me and was willing to work with me and get my car going. With no problem they installed my 5 lug conversion and it looks amazing. I would highly recommend this Service shop to anyone looking for work to be done on there Classic Car. Great work Westside Garage.

If I could give 0 stars I would. They deserve none. For such a rude owner who racially profiles potential customers they should not have a business here in Orange County. He would presume that my uncle and I are gang members for living here in Orange County which is something very offensive to assume we were. Which honestly felt like we were being racially profiled because we are Latino. He seemed to be bothered we would even try to make conversation with him and his responses is that he didn't want to talk but to only talk about business and business only which to us is very rude as our intentions were to form a trust with the owner since you know, we were prepared to spend thousands of dollars at his shop. Even asking for a ballpark price for the work, he said if our intentions are to be cheap his shop isn't the place to take our car at. It seems he doesn't have people skills and the willingness to listen to his customers first. 0 out 5 stars.

Don't allow this clown to waste your time like he did mine. Made an appointment two weeks in advance, just so he could look at my car. Did it. He said he could fix it, made an appointment for two weeks later, showed up with the car, and he says he's too busy to take the car. That's what appointments are for, sir. Couldn't care less about his customers' time. Not even his prospective customers' time. If I could give ZERO stars, I would.

I bought a battery from this joker only because my trucks battery went bad on this lot so the owner sold me a optima battery.I didn't even get a year off the battery so I went back, and this dude got offended,I wasn't looking to get my money back I just wanted him to send the battery back to his distributor. Unfortunately the s*** head wanted test results from my alternator and all this b******* . like most shops you think you're dialing with men unfortunately you end up dealing with chavalas. So I left him my battery told him he could keep his garbage. Anyway I bought a Interstate battery You will get at least 5 years hassle free. Westside garage needs to man up and do things right by the customer.
