rude staff. employees don’t greet when u enter but if you’re browsing for long enough they’ll send not one but three employees after you in the span of two minutes. i’m indecisive when shoe shopping bc i hate waste and want to ensure it’s a valid purchase. so i enjoy shopping alone and taking my time. one ridiculous broad ran over as i was trying on shoes and looked at my feet as if she thought i was stealing. honestly calm down it’s steve madden not chanel. definitely felt profiled and the staff could tell i was not happy with their poor service because when i looked at them as i was paying they seemed embarrassed, as they should be. anyway put them all through retraining. nov 6,2023 2:10-2:30 pm

The employees were too busy conversing with one another to give me the time of day. I asked them if they have dress shoes is size 10 to only hear them say look over there. If you don't find any that's all we have. Management needs to retrain their staff..

I went here initially to return some items purchased online. One of the itsms was just too big and the girl working offered to order the shoes I was returning in a different size for me. I decided to shop a bit in store after the return was taken care of. The girl working at the time seemed really irritated that I was there shopping. I felt like she wanted me to hurry up and decide which was frustrating. After purchasing over $150 in additional items I left.When the shoes that were ordered arrived they unfortunately still didn't fit well so I went back to return them. The same girl Jazmin said that I'd be getting store credit back since they were ordered with a credit. I didn't really catch what she had said at first because she said it really quickly almost on purpose. I asked for clarification and she said the item returned was initially purchased with a gift card. I said no, I didn't use a gift card. And then she explained that since the return done in store on my last visit was done as an exchange for this new pair (that didn't fit) I can only get store credit back. These were +$120 shoes that I didn't really need since I had JUST bought several pairs on my last visit. The girl kept lying to me and changing her explanation, at one point stating it was a gift card, then stating I asked to exchange it, snapping at me that she was the one who helped me on my last visit. I told her I wouldn't have ordered a new pair if I had known I couldn't return if they didn't fit... she did not care one bit. Her supervisor was standing watching, not stepping in to help. I asked her if she can help with this concern and she said she was a supervisor and that's how their systems work. They said there's multiple ways to ring up returns and they did it as an exchange so now it can't be returned. I told her nowhere did the no return policy come up in the transaction which she admitted was her mistake. And yet nothing. They stepped in the back to ask their store manager if anything can be done and returned a minute later to again say there's nothing they can do. They wouldn't provide me any other options or explanation after changing their explanation several times. Jazmin had major attitude the whole time, it was insane. I don't know if it's a commission thing but I feel like they tried to trick me into ordering another pair this way so I couldn't get my money back? Very disappointed and almost considering returning the other pairs I had purchased in store the other week. Would not recommend shopping at this store.

Second time in the store and both times helped by Ashley S. She was wonderful both times and and made our experience there great. She was friendly, attentive, and went way above and beyond the average employee. Ended up finding the pair of shoes in an odd size due to her locating them and taking care of the delivery too. Best guest experience at the Block ever!

Lousy customer service, they are racist I do not know if they are racist with all people or only with those who do not speak English, they thought I did not understand anything of what they were telling me and unfortunately I did understand everything.They did not want to accept an exchange of shoes just for not having the box, even though the shoes were in perfect condition without any use, I had to show them that in the invoice it does not say anything that without the box no exchanges are made, so that they would finally do their job, but still arrogant and rude.Lousy experience, I would like to escalate the case and file a formal complaint with customer service because racism is a crime, so I will start looking for a way to do it because people who do not speak English should have the same rights as those who do.

I asked to see a pair of shoes and the young girl, looked at her watch and reluctantly went in the back to check. Both young girls did not want to help and I felt like I was bothering them. Horrible customer service! I will not be going in there and spending my money.

Bummed they closed the location in Southcoast plaza as was more convenient for browsing and returns but now I just had to make an extra long drive. Service was great as always. I had a return and a gentleman was in training by another staff member and I was very pleased to observe the respect they both showed and the camaraderie and willingness to learn and perform a service.

i wish i was able to give this a zero. just went in to get some shoes i've been wanting for a while. asked a young girl who had reddish hair, she was very rude when i asked a question. almost immediately irritated. i really hope she gets fired. worst experience ever.

My first time going into this location and I was not greeted and I was the only customer in the store and someone else walked in a couple mins after me and they were greeted with no problems. This is the type of stuff that needs to stop. Everyone should be TREATED equally. I doubt I go back there again

No wonder they only have 2 stars,, i can't believe they have this kind of service ,, i was there to get some shoes for my girlfriend and when i was ready this is how the pack my $150 shoes no even try to make look good ,, i'm not buying 1 and get the second free but i think the owner care what kind of people re hiring !!
