Great room, fair price and nice amenities. I got good use out of the hot tub and pool. But even more importantly was the service. The people there went above and beyond! Triley at the front desk was simply amazing! I needed to get from Ojai to the Burbank airport and my scheduled Lyft did not show up at all. Triley and Angel, a young man who works at the hotel, heard my story and Angel offered to drive me to the airport which is at least a 2 hour drive one way. As it was, I barely made my flight. I can't thank both of them enough for their kindness and concern. You don't see that every day. I would given them 10 stars if I could!

This was a great place to stay! Friendly and helpful front desk. Located just outside the downtown area, so it's not hectic. An easy 10-15 min walk to downtown so you don't have to worry about finding parking. The room was pleasant, clean and roomy. Nice outdoor patio area. ALSO a wonderful pool (and hot tub). The pool temperature was perfect, even on a cool evening.
Noteworthy details: The pool was by far better than many other hotel pools I've experienced.

Four complaints
1. Bed was soft and lumpy. When we turned over it made noises. Online read Simmons mattress.
2. Refrigerator was very noisy
3. Water pressure bad.
4. I asked for a good view, and didn’t get it. Also, reception saw we were two older couples, and gave us room 211, far away from stairs.

Nearby activities: Great Tennis courts
Safety: Not good
Walkability: We are two older adults and had a hard time taking luggage upstairs. Once we got to top of stairs we had to walk a long ways to our room.

We were with a large party so all wanted to be close. If I were on my own I would have probably chosen a place closer to downtown. Difficult to find parking. The room was ok. Spiders in the tub and noisy refrigerator. I had to go to the office around 9pm to have the clerk shut off the light. Was on a broken sensor and would not stay off. The light over the sink is in the ceiling so when trying to put on makeup it caused a shadow. So without to room light I had to go outside to put on makeup

Wonderful experience. Had a great time even though it was only for one night. Had better access to my sister's college due to the Ojai road being closed.

We had a very restful and relaxing today’s day. The rooms are clean and fresh. The beds were comfortable and more importantly the pillows were comfortable.! Even the room lighting with soft and warm
I would definitely recommend this to anyone

Clean and lovely rooms and responsive staff. Nice pool and hot tub area, which was clean as well. Close to all the shops and restaurants in downtown Ojai. Our rooms had hairdryers, irons, fridges. Snacks could be purchased in the lobby. We met in the lobby for coffee, which has several clean tables to eat at or play games at. They have extra parking in the back. I didn't find an elevator to the second floor, so if you can't do stairs, then you'll want to stick to the first floor. Several of the first floor units came with a patio area and places to sit outside. The staff were helpful and enthusiastic and seemed to enjoy being there. Our family had 3 rooms for the weekend and we all would stay there again!
Nearby activities: Within a mile of great food, including the Duchess, Ojai Beverage Company, Reign's Department store, a funky old bookstore, bikes, and ice cream. Not far from trails and hikes, golf, and scenic drives. We loved the wide variety of quality restaurants to choose from!

Had a super negative check in experience this past weekend visiting for the ojai marathon.
We arrived at around 9pm, got to our room and it hadn’t been turned over yet. The sheets were dirty, towels were all over the floor and the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. What’s weird is that the bed was partially made? So it seemed like they tried to make the room but quit halfway.
The tv box was also missing and the sofa in the room seemed ancient and filthy. The front desk staff David did his best to turn it over after about 45 mns since housekeeping was gone for the day. He mentioned ownership would provide some compensation for the inconvenience and I received a 50 dollar return on my 1 night stay (which was around 300 dollars)
Felt like a big miss and overall not happy with the experience.

Stayed here with family and kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Room was nice and continental breakfast was good. A bit pricey for what you get but still better than other options.

The rooms are nice. The mattresses are a little hard for my back. The television system (circa 2001) didn't work. The ladies working the front desk, Jennifer and Shelbi, were both awesome. Both of them were Extremely helpful and went far out of their way to try and make us happy (my wife was unhappy that the TV system didn't work so we may have to stay somewhere else next time). Pool and hot tub were amazing. Bikes worked and carried us to a couple of local watering holes. Great times.
