I have been buying food from PETCO for the last 15 years but realized that the customers are not even valued on the most superficial level.I came to your store tonight at around 7:30 PM to buy a large bag of cat food. I am standing in line behind a customer who was at the register with the only cashier in the checkout and the customer needed assistance.The store only two customers (myself included) in the store. The manager came to the front to assist the first customer which was not an issue. Another employee followed the manager to the checkout area.The issue I had was when the manager was finished helping the customer before me, she and the other employee did not ask if I needed help. I am holding a large bag of cat food and the manager and other employee looked right at me, ignored me and left the checkout.As a longtime customer, how I was treated reflects the PETCO values and it's not about customer engagement.I called the manager, a woman with glasses and very short grey hair and told her that I did not appreciate her rudeness, that she lacked customer service skills, doesn't pick up social cues and should look for another job.Sorry PETCO, I will purchase all my pet supplies on Amazon because a mouseclick is much a better shopping experience than a rude one.

I had a grooming appointment booked for almost 2 weeks because I was getting photos with my dog the following day. I took off work early to take him in and the groomer said she thinks he has an ear infection and was unwilling to groom him. Now I am left at 4:30 on a Friday before the pictures with no where to take him. The one time I took him to a Petco with an ear infection, they just didn't wash the area and didn't clean his ears as to not interfere with the medication he was on. This is a massive waste of my time and has left me with no where to go last minute. The stylist's name is Hannah. Also she clearly just wanted to be off work early. I had a 4:15 appointment, when I got there she asked if she could send my dog home not fully dry because she got off work at 5, which I said was fine. Then proceeded to cancel my appointment because she thought he had an ear infection. So hope Hannah had a great early weekend. Incredibly unprofessional.

This is for the Vetco at this petco. Dr Rodriguez was amazing with my cat. She was so gracious and kind to us. She explained everything to us in the most sincere tone and didn't try to push anything unnecessary on us. She made me want to take all my pets here just for her only. Dr. Rodriguez is the best vet I have ever encountered and she truly cares about your pet. Thank you so much for helping our Munchkin cat and taking such good care of him and thank you for treating us with such respect.

Horrid. Not sure if my post was deleted, but i posted two days ago and yesterday. Do not buy your fish here, unless you are fully ready to be able to properly care of the fish in a quarantined tank before placing them in a regular tank because my family and i all got red worms from the guppies we purchased here.

Went in for fish and encountered a new employee. She seemed annoyed that I was asking questions she didn't have answers to. When I asked if there was someone else that could help me, she walked away. It was so awkward that another customer looked at me and said "did she just walk away from you?". She ended up coming back later with another employee that was more knowledgeable. Second employee wasn't much friendlier but was was at least able to help. Next time I'll try another pet store. I will say the person at check out was super nice. I wish she was the one that would have helped us.

Decent selection for a Petco, but the self service dog washing station was closed for no apparent reason when we went. It was 5:59 (roughly an hour ahead of closing time), so maybe they closed it early to keep it clean? It would be helpful to have that information posted so as not to waste a trip.

This Petco location recently opened up a Veterinarian clinic. All I have to say is Dr Rodriguez was the sweetest besides the Vet assistants! Everybody took care of my little one with lots of love and patience. They answered all my questions and handled my fur baby like one of their own. Which is very much appreciated

Vetco is great. Can be a wait sometimes but it's free. You only pay for the medications/vaccines.

Petco now requires the use of an app and technological skills to get a reward. No more coupons. As a senior citizen I find it highly discriminatory. The staff was extremely unhelpful acting impatient as I was trying to set up an account. And of course I accidentally got a duplicate account. I was told tough luck. Petsmart has other options and they will be getting my business from now on.

Wyatt from the aquarium section was super helpful. He gave me a lot of good pointers on which aquatic plants to get for my tank as well as which snail I should get. He is super knowledgeable and kind!
