Service department is just filled with unbelievably rude & unhelpful staff. The service manager was even more unimpressive, unhelpful & rude. Wish I could call him out by name but I don't remember. I take my car here for recalls only because they are the closest Nissan dealership to me.If I could give them zero stars, I would. Because of how rude and unhelpful they are, out of principle, I would NEVER give them my business or trust them with my car otherwise - either by using their service department for repairs or purchasing a car from them. I own my own business and would NEVER treat my clients the way they treat theirs.

We just got a car here today and I have to say that I was very impress with how the whole process went. We had trouble figuring out how to pick up the car since our schedule is pretty hectic and this dealership is quite far from us. They went above and beyond to make everything easy for us, they were even going to deliver the car to us just to help us. Larry the manager along with Nathan, prepared everything for us so we didn't have to wait a long time. All we had to do was sign and go. Carlos in finance was also very helpful. They were all knowledgeable about the car and very informative. I will refer them to my friends and family.Thank you again for such a wonderful and stress free experience!

I purchased a 2023 Nissan pathfinder 2 month ago and it recently started to make a noise on the passenger side, Since car is still under warranty Ii took to Mossy Oceanside to get it inspected at the service department, My car was taken and I was provided a car rental for the time being. The service advisor called me the same day to advise me that they had found the issue it was the strut bearing in the suspension that was faulty/ defective from the manufacture. (Red flag --- Wasn't the car suppose to be fully inspected )But they where going to order the part and call me when my car was ready. Three days later the service advisor called me to let me know the parts where on back order and I needed to bring the rental back and pick up my car since mossy Nissan will not pay for my rental while they where waiting for the part to come in. I was a bit upset and I didn't not want to be driving my children around in my car knowing parts are faulty and defective . I did express this to the service advisor and he replied with its safe to drive and Mossy will not cover your rental if you want to pay out of pocket your are welcome to, When asking when the part was going to come in I was told it was on back order so it could take 1-2 weeks he wasn't really sure. Upon picking up my car it was so dirty no courtesy wash was done and the car had ants all around the bottom which than i found them inside the car. I took a video I was so mad cause that is not how i gave them my car again I was in complete shock the way my car was returned to me .I had to take my car to get a full detail cause I have small kids and I cant have ants biting myself. Im not impressed with the customer service, the way they accommodate you for issues that are not your fault or care for my vehicle that was presented to me from mossy Oceanside. Upon buying the vehicle it should have been inspected and sold to be at 100 percent non defective. Now I'm having to drive a car and transport my children in it with a faulty defective suspension and secondly a car full of ants that's is a huge red flag and safety concern for myself and my childrenSuch a same cause I have purchased 3 cars from Mossy but I don't think I will be continue purchasing or giving recommendation to any one else due to this experience

I went to go and look at the Teslas they have. 2021 Tesla Model 3 has 50k+ miles on it, according to Tesla themselves they state that the brakes need to be changed every 25k miles. The car fax shows this vehicle hasn't had it done but they did inspect the brakes and they are at least at 70% or greater. The manager Larry said, "look we have three options, one, you don't have to buy the car, two we can get an appointment to get them checked today, or three, we can have them inspected Monday and send you the report".I said to Larry, but don't you think it's odd, that a vehicle with this many miles was OK'd with the brakes even though it's been more than double the time. He reiterates that I don't have the buy the car. I said I just want you to share my concern about it, isn't it strange? The whole time this guy is interrupting me when I'm talking. Who does that? I got up to leave after being insulted and told the salesman, who was lovely to work with, Jorge Hans, that his manger ruined this sale for him. His manger then said as I was leaving, "you can't ruin what never was" .I guess I was never there?I guess I never wanted to buy it? I have a photo telling my girlfriend i wanted to buy it an hour before talking to this Larry fellow. How the hell did he become manager with that attitude?

Fiancé (who shall go unnamed in my posts for privacy reasons) saw a car online he wanted; we showed up a hair after 7 pm and Cody said while they close at 7; they'll stay open as long as necessary to do deals. He directed us to the correct driveway as we were on the wrong side of the lot.5 stars for Cody- he was on his way home and actually went back to the entrance to wait for us. Super sweet, engaging guy and yes I know he's there to make money, but he wasn't pushy with the add-ons.After the usual credit runs and figuring out the payment plan we wanted, we were ready to sign.Annoying was getting a rate we signed for then getting offered one over 4% less if we signed a new contract with the the add-on packages. The ONLY reason I took the deal the finance guy offered is because my near-perfect credit score carried both of us and he needs to build his- he is essentially buying credit for himself by becoming my co-signer and he needed a car immediately. He works from his car and drives around 200 miles every day. Also annoying was having to return the next day to sign more paperwork, but I get it- they wanted to go home the night before and it became a long event- we sat there over three hours and things got missed.I know this is how car lots work, the upsells but I will stick with bringing a blank check for my car-buying needs (I'm still a fan of Carmax haha). Fiancé is super happy however, and I am happy he got the exact car he wanted.Pros:- Cody is awesome - decent pricingCons:- typical car lot upsell tactics - annoying finance rates

My girlfriend's 2013 Nissan Altima in for repairs because the engine was misfiring and I was unable to fix the problem myself at the time. You'd think that they would connect their computer and come up with the correct diagnostics, but no. That is not what happened. They called us back and suggested that we do a complete engine rebuild and claimed that there was a blown head gasket and they needed to do a complete teardown. I have reasons to be believe that they were trying to take advantage of her because she is not mechanically inclined and blindly trusted them due to being the dealer. They were trying to rip her off big time and failed to provide a reasonable diagnostics. The diagnostic fee was very expensive and not even accurate. My dad and I are mechanics and we have been working on her car for some time. We determined that the issue was electrical and had something to do with a sensory not communicating with the ECM. Long story short, I declined their offer of servicing on her car for $2,000 and faulty diagnostics of claiming that they needed to do an engine rebuild. I took the car to another mechanic who did the diagnostics at an affordable rate. Now this guy, in his humble little shop, was able to determine that it was indeed an electrical issue and found exactly with sensor was malfunctioning. It turned out to be a crack in the plastic connectors that attaches to the wire. After that, the car worked just fine and passes smog. I fixed it with a $25 part...I honestly believe that the mechanics at Nissan didn't even bother connecting it to the computer and run basic test. If they had run basically test with their specialized equipment, they would have come to the same conclusion as a humble mechanic at a small shop with his computer and a volt meter. I'm not sure why I paid them a $300ish diagnostic fee for kicking the tires and checking the dipstick. This dealership is a complete ripoff and will take advantage of their customers. Very unethical.

Let me say this is the second time I have been at Mossy Nissan and both times Pancho was just amazing. Every time I show up needing services done on my Nissan Rogue he manages to keep me up to date on the process, gives me all the important details with honest feedback, and exceptional customer service. Thanks Pancho for all your help! I'll be back next time my car needs serviced!

It's 7:58am on Saturday, February 18th and I opened the mail from Friday, February 17th! I am BEYOND PISSED!! The notice I received is dated from 02/10/23. It's a credit check notice! Why am I pissed? Because I told the representative in the Sales Department, Tyrone that I DIDN'T WANT TO MOVE FORWARD WITH ANYTHING, which included having my credit checked! Absolutely shameful! I will NEVER purchase a vehicle from Oceanside!! I can't find the picture I took showing the line I drew when I started to go ahead with everything. How, it wasn't my signature, but when I find it I'll be adding it to this review to show how the Mossy Nissan Sales Department are Despicable!I FOUND THE PICTURE of the line I drew to start my signature!

We had the very best experience from the entire Mossy Nissan team. Eli our salesman was very personable, respectful and attentive during the process. The finance manager Mike also just had such a great personality and was able to walk us through the process timely. Overall we had an amazing experience because of the professionalism, price and customer service.

I went to Mossy because of the size, quality, and the honest reputation you would think they'd have. Even knowing it would cost more and I expected this. But it turns out I was way wrong... So I set up an appointment for my wife's car to get serviced because the wiper fluid tank was leaking. When we got there they said it would cost $160 to take a look and they would also do a full inspection for us. We mentioned that the windows were fogging up at that time, and they said they would look at that too. That same day they emailed us saying there were all these issues including an A/C compressor that had to be replaced and that it would cost another $160 to open the bumper to even inspect the wiper fluid tank. I asked them about it and the service advisor admitted he made a mistake and misled us to thinking it was included but there was nothing he could do about it. This is also in an email that was attached. Their argument was that it is the service tech's job to determine if more work is needed in order to see if they needed to charged more. So pretty much it would cost me $320 just to look at the issue and still never get a quote to fix the wiper fluid tank that was leaking. I asked for a refund and was denied multiple times by Don Weiss who is the manager of the service advisor I was working with.Don failed to listen to my main issue, keeps saying that Mossy has done nothing wrong, and believes that the other issues with my wife's car are why there are more costs on the inspections. I've lost all confidence in Mossy after having my car go there for the past 2-3 years. They simply didn't do what I asked and attempted to rip us off. If you're reading this please use this so you don't run into the same issues with them as I have.

They inform you to book an appointment because they no longer do walk ins, but never have anything available when needed. Definitely disappointed. I have been a long time customer and never seen issues like this before. I was able to get better service in 2020.
