“Getting to know Daniel was such a pleasure for our family. He lightened up our day every time we went into the Oceanside location with his uplifting personality. He always made sure to take care of my dad and my dad would always make sure to look or ask for him whenever we visited this location. He was a very sweet, smart, kind hearted man. My dad and him immediately had a bond when they met. Daniel would always make sure to ask my father about his plans for the week and actually make conversation and was interested and did not treat him or any of us like just another customer. Not only did he help my father but, they also had a nice friendship & some memorable conversations which I know my dad really appreciated. I could tell how happy my dad would be whenever Daniel was there to help him. He really knew how to welcome customers in with his great personality and positivity. We never felt like we were going to the bank. It was more like visiting a close family friend whenever we saw Daniel. We were all happy to see Daniel and he always strived to give us the most excellent service as he always did. My family enjoyed his presence and great personality. My dad was recently informed about his absence because my father always asked for Daniel and he continued to wonder about his whereabouts but every time he went Daniel just wasn't there. Which was all he knew for a while. Finally 2 months go by and he was informed by an employee for good and obvious reasons so my father wouldn't have to ask or wonder about his absence any longer. We were all greatly saddened to hear this news and just couldn't believe it. Our condolences to his family and anyone else that is suffering from any type of pain. I'm sure he would've only wanted the best for everyone. Although, he will be greatly missed, we're sure he filled tons of other peoples lives with the same positivity and light that he shared with our family. We will continue to remember him as the strongly driven, kind-hearted, positive, caring person he was and we are glad to have gotten to meet an exceptional gentleman. We will cherish and carry on the memories we shared. Thank you Daniel!”

“This store is amazing... I just figured I'd leave a review now and will give them their fair share... it's unfortunate to know this store is closing at the end of the month... this was the best Staters in the area in my open. First, Sean Carne the store manager is always on the floor when he can be to help me and other guests and shoppers in the store. Staff is super friendly & everything was always stocked and filled before the announcement of their closer. Next, compared to other locations (including Aldi & Walmart) their eggs are a bit cheaper than everywhere else. I truly enjoyed shopping at this Staters and hope all the staff and Sean Carne go somewhere close by so I can still have friendly staff to say hello and thank you too.”

“Recently have been going for Taco Tuesdays and Fridays. They are quick to take orders and give your food. Our top three are adobada, carnitas and carne asada tacos. You also get to choose and get your own salsas. You better know what you want before you stand in line because they will take your order and will not wait for you. We live close so its so easy to stop by, also for produce if we need something really quick.”

“I have been in this store several times over the past few years, with my adult son who frequents the place and usually for a couple of specific items. I needed to stay at his home for a week and hang out with the wee one while the parents were away. The wee one and I went grocery shopping together to pick out some foods for the two of us. It was on January 1st.Being a holiday the store was obviously short staffed, but we had no problems interacting with staff. I hit up the deli section, where only one young man was working. After he helped a couple of other customers he greeted us. I told him I could see he was running the entire area solo and commended him for working the holiday, having an amicable demeanor and being efficient all while working solo.After traversing the store and picking up several items we made it to the fresh produce section. While looking at bananas the employee there greeted us with a smile and asked if he could help us with anything. The cashier also had the same pleasant demeanor as the other two noted employees.Maybe they all were feeling some great New Year vibes because they were getting holiday pay, I don't know, but regardless I felt like a valued customer and appreciated it. I frequent our local Stater Bros and the employees are always good to go, so I am thinking it must be SOP for this company to have decent employees.The store is well stocked and the produce and meat sections are great, BTW.”

“I regularly buy all my goodies from here, management is amazing and I always tip for their generosity to help bring my "groceries" when i get a bundle of alcohol lol. I've made great friends at this spot, and I always go every weekend to stock up on my wine and Puff Bars from here and they never fail to amaze me with reasonable prices and excellent customer service. Transferred funds onto it; made ACH payments Accur-ately needed for it, withOUT any errors; then gave me awesome advice on how to SAVE MONEY that the New Card/Acct which I never knew existed, that was Invaluable. When I met Cindya, it was her 1st training day. I was extremely IMPRESSED how COOL & CALM she was. She handled every transaction [ I ] needed as if she'd been w/the Company for months. She did not make one single error; nor did she complain to me nor her Trainor. Since COVID, (maybe alittle before) Leslie & Maty joined the Team. Everytime I've visited, they've Greeted me like they've known me for years. I've also noticed them w/handling other Customers just as Professionally like their Team. “This is my pharmacy of record when i need prescriptions filled. typically the dr will call in the prescription. Walgreens will contact me when prescription is ready, so I avoid wait time. I used to use the drive thru but no longer because I find the service is much better inside. Jeff the pharmacist is very helpful and will answer any questions you may have. I will occasionally shop for other products at the store because location is convenient; I have noticed since 2020 the inventory on shelves is substantially reduced and some products not available at all. I have been VERY frustrated with EOS gym members totally monopolizing the entire parking lot. ..more should be done to ensure Walgreens has designated parking spaces. Also avoid shopping at all cost..when the Madison Middle school students are released students swarm both the parking lot and store.”
