1081 Highland Way, Grover Beach“I had been looking for a gym since I moved here. I tried quite a gyms in my area but I found the best gym to be Central Coast Barbell. This gym gives you an old school bodybuilding feeling. They have all the equipment you need. If you are like myself and powerlift, this gym is also for you. You have a platform for deadlifting, a deadlift bar and a power bar. You have a combo rack for squats and bench press. The community is great and many people are willing to help you or spot you. This gym has some equipment you would rarely find anywhere else (i.e. true squat machine) along with other machines such as a belt squat. The owner Danny is very helpful and welcoming. He has multiple payment options that range from monthly to yearly. The price is more than worth the membership and having 24/7 access to the gym is beyond helpful. This is a hidden gem within the central coast and I highly recommend this gym if your looking for a place to you reach your goals.”

“Kennedy is amazing, great people, not too crowded. Has a steam room, pool, jacuzzi and plenty of classes. I especially like the space, at times the steam/sauna fails but quickly fixed.”
“This location is one of the best i've been to. It was clean and organized. The place was beautiful, front to back. I went in at 9 p.m., basically the end of the day. Everything was well stocked, maintained, and clean. The most important thing that I noticed was that when I walked in the door, they made me feel welcome. Sorry to say, that's not always my experience at other gyms.”
“I went to this gym for my first workout in a while. I was nervous because I havent tried cross fit before but it was so fun. The trainer, Ben, modified the workout for my fitness level so that I could participate through the whole class. The facility had ample space, there was plenty of parking and seemed overall well maintained. Also, I ended up seeing a friend there too which made the workout enjoyable! If you're looking for a place to get a great workout and be part of a community, this is your spot.”
