This office should be completely abbolished from the roots up to the highest level to the very tip top and should be ripped apart every employee and I'm sorry for the ones with good intentions but you are condoning how deep the corruption and for how long it's been going on inflicting harm on veterans that are disabled like me with holding bennifits from bennificiares dating all the way back still today to era1992 .you good employees the top management has shifted around manipulating the laws and puzzle pieces not exposing the the truth about what actually is going on are only covering up the lies and I personally hold you responsible for knowing write from wrong and seeing the truth from within .I hope every veteran who has committed suicide around this corruption ,I hope they haunt you at night and there souls weigh heavy on you're lives .you could of prevented all those veterans deaths and yet you did appsolutly about it .you're responsible and this may sound harsh but I'm sick of management and Congress and president not doing nothing about this serious problem of yeah they all say thanks for our service on veterans day or after we show them our ids they thank us in that moment the government promises the public and us they're fixing a broke down system but in actualality there just MINIPULATING problems rhat have been exposed MINIPULATING the laws protecting theccorperation goverment making it harder to piece the many puzzle pieces together to complete the picture .and im sorry as a vwar veteran disabled harmed personaly by oakland reginal office corruption nobody wants to say the truth or do what needs to been done to actualy help us fix all the brojen pieces to make it function the wwat they all misslead us ro beileve were there to fighr and peotect u when you needvit most after you get home yeah right its a joke and i know im can not be the only veteran who feals this way failed and left out to die abriad nby our nations leaders and public servants ! Who all do nothing even when I asked in person I'm homeless and .asking for help to correct my records and I'm homeless do you know the agent just turned the situation back around on me and my girlfriend as if it's our fault the VA has not payed me the retroactive bennifits at a 50%rating from 1992-2012=around $250,000-$550,000 at a 100%rating retroactively I'm entitled to .but yet if they would pay me bennifits they originally denied me unjustly I could buy me a house and pay off all my debits that have accumulated with friends and family who've been supporting so much I'm sick and won't even ask for help any more all these years .Itheyve supported me long enough and some can't support them selfs in this economy neither how can they help

The VA has not corrected the error they made on my service connected sinusitis aggravating my sleep apnea claim! Want to thank veterans for their service? Then expedite claims, higher level reviews and correct failure to assist errors in a timely manner!

Joshua Orlans.. I feel this man is inept and calculating. Here is proof of just how bad the VA really is. They undermine you, and treat you as if you were less than nothing, all while "claiming" they have your best interests in mind. Hardly the case.I went to this man.. actually, someone sent him to me, for a simple letter to help with housing. Not VA, Section 8 type Housing either, some really nice housing. His response was to take the sample letter "we" the org helping me and myself had created and watering it down so much it was useless; just as useless as Joshua Orlans.VA emplyees have a whole questionaire for when they feel they have been slighted.. a slight, mind you.. including questions such as did you lose selp or your appitite.. We Veterans have no way of reporting such neglect and abuse. That is until it makes a 60-Minutes episode. Meanwhile 23-year career politicians, like Mike Thompson, claiming he knows the VA is messed up do nothing about this? That is a review for another post.

This was my first time at the VA Oakland regional office, and I must say that I was very impressed. Initially, I didn't appreciate the police officers downstairs being overzealous with doing their jobs, as far as checking people into a federal government building.It's obvious that I need to show my ID, and that I need to announce where I'm going. However, the two gentlemen that were down there, they overdid it. Also, I became a bit weary Once I arrived at the actual office.There's an older woman there that serves as the executive assistant to the people that assist veterans. Even though she was very sweet, and very hospitable, she seemed to have a hard time pronouncing and reading my name.I had to basically spell my name for her three times, even though it was written legibly on the form that I filled out. However, none of that seems to matter anymore once I met David.I already spoke to David on the phone months prior, and he was pleasant then as well. Not only was David Pleasant in person, but he clearly had a passion for helping veterans. Our meeting should have only lasted about 30 minutes, but it went well over 45 minutes because he would not leave that meeting until my issue was solved.He went out of his way to make calls to whoever he needed to call, in order to get down to the bottom line. In the end, I believe that I achieved what I went there to achieve. I am very grateful to Dave it, and I look forward to being assistant that way each and every time I need to go there.I would highly recommend this office to anyone.

VR&E office - Ashley Whitmore or what ever her name is. The office is already horrible and I haven’t even gone yet. I’m wondering if I should just avoid the headache and accept life outside the VA. They clearly don’t care to help veterans who are disabled and seeking assistance for educational aspects.I was scheduled for an apt which I couldn’t make. So I spent weeks trying to reschedule it. On my apt day I called her an she never called me.I was then meet with a rude email saying how I’ve missed my Apts an how I need to fill out my forms. I made it very clear I had my apt changed and I couldn’t fill those forms out. Even though I had requested a change of apt an got it approved. Ashley went back into the system a month later an canceled my apt as though I never showed up. When I’m all reality. She didn’t show up.So far I haven’t even had my main apt an so far it sounds based on reviews like a nightmare. But then again like all VA run things. It fails the veterans.I was looking and needed help. The vet centers are great an they did as much as they could. But everything ceased the second i was sent here.An since the VA doesn’t have an HR to complain to. The only way to get anyone to notice is by contacting the state rep for the area. Which I am in the process of doing. It would be one thing if I missed my apt. But they failed on their end an then attempted to cover it up.2021 update: no one ever called or reached back out. No one ever scheduled an apt again.From what I have learned. There’s no point in complaining cause there in no HR. Apparently they don’t answer to anyone.Congrats to another failure in helping Veterans.

If I could give them a zero I would try calling customer service numbers for help case manager ignore call, emails and covid prevent me from going to there office to talk to someone in person. I see why people give up.

After 23 years no benefits for losing a leg in the CA military academy while acting company commander I protested them out front. They had my car towed from disabled parking out front confiscated my permanent handicap placard lost my tractor keys that was in the car cost me thirty acres of wheat. I was back few days later signs all over car read hold clay va accountable the one I held in hand read you cant tow honor. Hoy Evans and steve as well as secretary at the DAV below them had the nerve to call me awol loser. They attempted to hold BVA hearing without me outside continental U.S. I still made it it was a sham. 25 years one leg not so much as a amputee sock from the VA. They have no record of my injury, discharged me without do process used my original claim of injury to discharge me. Heres the real beef.....afterwards got phone calls from va national number dozens that threatened my kids, white house va hotline covered it up, complained they put me in a va phone waiting room .......how corrupt can you get and what kind of anti american idiot comes up with a waiting room on the phone for disgruntled vets. I attempted to report the fraud at 1301 clay 18 months later two security guards are gunned down out front, there is only a post office, fed court and the VA/DAV at that location.....what do you think the odds are they were there for the VA/DAV. The VA/DAV is responsible for the deaths of those brave americans who paid the price for their corruption. Shame on the VA for killing maiming and injuring veterans through fraud lies and criminal neglect........you are criminals and idiots,

Used to work here. I had a rater tell me she ignored buddy statement because people especially spouses lie. So she was screwing up people's claims on purpose.
