I have come to this location for over 2 decades. I have always received friendly service from postal workers at this and most USPS locations for that matter. Dealing with the public can be challenging and I’m sure a postal worker at some point has had a rough day. So have I.

Needed to exchange a spoiled money order. The folks at 41st would not do it. Lazy! I took it here and the gentleman exchanged the money order with no questions. Great service here! Don't go to 41st! They should be fired for sitting on their bums.

I don't get the horrendous reviews I'm reading here. I had a lovely experience. The woman who helped me - I think her name was Trin or Trina, was awesome. There was a lady in front of me who was vert stressed about a change of address, and Trin helped her with such compassion. Every time the lady started to get upset, she was able to de-escalate so smoothly. As someone who worked in customer service for a long time, i was impressed. Then when it was my turn, she was very kind. I have not mailed a package myself before (I know, I know. Not a skill I developed as a zoomer) and she was super helpful. The only downside is there doesn't seem to be a/c in the place and it was super hot that day.

Worst USPS location in this country, every time I come here no one at the window to take customers, if any would be one and very slow. I spent over an hour waiting just so they tell me no stamps. Common sense is to hire more staff ?♂️. I will avoid USPS as possible can.

Didn't work this time at all. Claimed to have no stamps, could locate cash drawer or something like that, and said I had to wait for co worker to pay for a small ground ship. He shows up,makes me wait again until he does 10 minutes of other stuff..all in all..low quality experience. Clerks were nice, but, the service was absurd.

The people who work here are fine, but it’s going on three weeks that there are no stamps!! How does a company who makes money from selling postage not have any postage to sell?!!

I am out side of this building 8:40 am trying to send a package and there's closed on they schedule say open 8:30 am.

This location closes earlier than 2 on Saturday it’s the third time I’ve been there before 2 on Saturday (walking) and they were closed. Please update hours there were 4 people like myself at the door.

1. Don't bother going here close to closing time because the doors will be locked.2. They will try to charge you the most expensive rates even after you explain that you want to send a package with the cheapest rate possible not caring when it's going to get to its destination.3. No matter what time you go, there's ALWAYS a line that moves slower than turtles.

Ms. Trina Blessings is so kind and understanding! She kept the line moving but still spoke to each customer with patience and a smile. Literally the best post office experience of my life.

I went a couple of times to make a delivery and both times they treated me poorly. Uneducated staff. I couldn't make my shipment.

One package completely lost, sent a package to my mother via two day mail for $43 when its normally $11. Its been three days after guaranteed delivery. Post office and the employees are constantly disheveled, if even wearing a uniform. This location is the epitome of oakland.

This location services a lot of people so I can imagine that there are constraints that come with that - I'm sure these folks are doing the best they can with what they have. That being said - the ladies that are usually in when I go in are AMAZING. Highlight of my day some times.
