Shop is great and the owners were very friendly. Installation exceeded expectations and no corners were cut. As a first time client i was more than satisfied and would definitely be back for any of my car audio upgrades. Straight car audio heaven carrying some of the finest equipment in the industry!

I went in because the guy up the street quoted me 1500$ to install an amp and 4 speakers, I thought that was absurd, so I got a second quote from these guys. They charged me $400. And it sounds great, I was very happy. But then I started to look closer. They wired my amp remote turn on directly to the battery, not the head unit where it's supposed to go. So it was on all the time, and one day my truck just wouldn't start be ause of it. They put the head unit in wrong, I had to fix that, and they did not tune the amp at all. I had singing coming out of my sub woofer. Bottom line,, I guess you get what you pay for. 1500$ was robbery, but for 400$ , I got f****d.

I moved from Louisiana to Oakland in April of this year. While driving from the south to northern California, my wires were messed up Idk the exact terminology but, my speaker was not working. I found phat boyz on Google and gave then a try. The owner and his wife were very helpful and pleasant. He was fast to find the issue and fixed within minutes! I was in and out. The price was very affordable. I've been slapping ever since! They secured a customer! Thank yall!

I've been coming to this shop for years now....Recently- I tried to install my own system and created havoc by accidentally creating a shortage. Not a good experience ?However- Joe helped get my system back in play - *Word of advice - Bring over your Vehicle before trying to install your own system - (Specially if it's your first time) - Tell Joe how you want your vehicle to sound and he will make it happen.- This shop is known for *Slapping- Competition * ? 's To show for it!Mom ? and Pop ❣️ Shop - Supper friendly and honest atmosphere.*JR - Works in the shop as well / He also gets supper down with the SOUND!

They were very nice welcoming and friendly. They know their Audio and they don’t play around. It’s a family atmosphere and they definitely make you feel welcomed. I would absolutely recommend this shop to others. Everyone that works there is super cool and knowledgeable. I appreciate business like this. Thank you guys!

My boyfriend got his speakers and stereo installed and it was such a good experience. Such kind people who really know what they're doing. It sounds so good too, we are beyond happy with our experience and I definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone !!!!

This establishment is an abomination. The audacity to call this a “service” is beyond lost on me. Failure to install my speakers properly, gladly took my money yet did NOT receive a proper install. Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life, and I’ve been to McDonald’s when their ice machines are down—even they are more competent. Save your money and have a real and reputable establishment do your install.

Bad service. Didn't install speakers properly now I have to take it somewhere else to fix it and redo the whole thing. I'll definitely be telling all of my friends to take their business elsewhere, and I hope you do too.

Absolute worst experience at this place. I can't express how awful this business is. Do yourself and your wallet a favor and go somewhere else.The owner installed my speakers and took my money as fast as possible. I immediately noticed that the new speakers he installed sounded worse than my original speakers, not only that but now there's a terrible static/rattling sound whenever I listen to bass music. And! he lost some parts to my interior door frame after he reinstalled them so now they're loose in some spots. I reached out to them to follow up on these issues and they ignored my phone calls until I came back in person and they told me there's nothing they can do about it & just stared at me until I left.Bottom line, the worst businesses are those who are quick to take your money and quicker to ignore you/brush you off if there are any issues. That's what you're going to find if you go to this place. Good luck!
