Reliable and trustworthy, We experienced an issue with our hybrid and didn’t want to take it all the way to the dealership as we get down the street, so another mechanic in Ventura referred us to Rock’s and it turned out to be just a battery issue which he helped replace in record time!

Went here for a smog check that took less than 15 minutes. You have to make an appointment but it's easy to do by phone and they fit me in the next day. Cost about $60. Nice and friendly folks. Easy!

I took my truck here to be diagnosed for smog check and was told I needed a whole new motor and truck was not worth putting any money into repairing it. This was from the business owner. I do my own repairs, so I know mechanic work well enough to know the signs of a dying motor. Lack of power, white smoke out of the tail pipe, etc. He even went as far as printing out a simple bar graph showing four cylinders with one of them being a quarter of a cylinder. He then explained that one cylinder was running at 1/4 of what it was supposed to be running at, and it was not worth the money it would cost to replace the motor. He then charged me $80 for the fake diagnoses. I got a second opinion and was told my motor was fine. Replaced all smog components, passed smog and am happily driving my truck with valid registration and insurance. This is a star certified smog station, operating for the state of California DMV! I would strongly recommend not taking any vehicle here for any reason! Never again for me. Shame on the DMV and the state for backing a fraudulent business like this one...
