During Covid the tasting rooms are closed. Staff are very nice and knowledgeable. They have a great selection of alcohol to choose from and even during Covid you can taste some items. The only down side , and the reason I can't give 5 stars, is their prices - every time I go on their prices are higher (sometimes significantly so) than other locations. If you are willing to pay more for a good selection and quality service, this is the place to be. If you are price conscious, you may want to think about it before going to Wades.

Drove by this place for years not really knowing what it was, I always assumed it was a wine distribution company. A friend brought me here and WOW was I stunned to see what was going on behind these closed doors! Many rooms to hang out in all with their own cool décor including the restrooms. We had many different things going on at our table of four. It was Everything from a Bourbon sampler, Scotch, Craft Beer Samplers and Individual Craft beer in a Bottle. I'm Honored to find out that you used one of my Photos for their Featured Yelp Page and was Sorry to Find out that I never Finished my Review for your Page. So Here you go Guys/Gals 5 Well deserved Stars and Great review of this Amazing Business. I look forward to making it back if/when Life Becomes more the norm, until then Cheers!

First and last time dealing with this shop. I'm a 23 year veteran of the wine trade in NY and owned my own wineshop for 14 years, never have seen such amateur service. Purchased over the phone three special bottles to ship to NV. Asked for an itemized receipt at time of payment and never got it, asked for itemized receipt after receiving tracking for shipment by email...never got it. Left voice message asking for itemized receipt...never got it. Wine arrived a with generic receipt with no names of the wines purchased(see photo). Given that they charged me to insure the shipment how would I make a claim? Lastly, they don't use temperature controlled carriers such as GLS (which all the other wine shops I deal with in CA use) instead they ship UPS ground which I paid dearly for because the A-hole driver rang our door and waited less than 30 seconds before running off with my wine. Had to wait 24 hour more to get it and the bottles were hot to the touch...cooked!

Amazing little liquor store and tasting room! Long story short.. I make a purchase in 2017 but never picked up my items until today.. 2020. The staff was able to find my items within a minute of time. AMAZING! Apart from this, the store has huge collections of all different kind of spirits, wine and beer. One of the staff encouraged us to check out the tasting room.. even when it's closed during COVID because it's really worth the peak. She didn't lie.. the tasting section and bar was super cute, the walls/decor were made from spirit and wine box scraps/corks. We will definitely come back to check it out when they open back up again!

Was looking for a particular bourbon that I could not find in the two stores I previously visited. Went inside, was greeted immediately and found what I was looking for. Also bought some tequila that they recommended to me. Highly recommend.

I've purchased so many bottles from Wades that have been corked due to what seems to be improper storage. On top of this, they sell a grip of wines which are WAY past their optimal drinking date, which is extremely misleading to the casual customer who is not savvy to this sort of thing. Usually, whenever I've purchased a corked bottle from them and tried to return it, they refuse to admit that it's gone bad and will not give you a refund. After my last awful experience involving a 97-point Carlisle Syrah, I finally learned my lesson and decided to "call it quits" with this place. Unfortunately, Wades is one of the only vendors in Ventura County that has a large selection of the wines I enjoy most. With that said, I'd rather travel far distances to buy from establishments who know what they're doing and take proper care of their inventory. I'm not going to waste any more money at a store that shamelessly botches amazing bottles from some of the world's finest makers. I recommend anyone who is serious about wine to shop elsewhere.

I LOVE Wade's Wines! We stopped in to buy a couple of bottles to take to a birthday dinner and ran into an old friend inside. Being a wine connoisseur himself, and knowing the entire staff and owner, he recommended some of his favorites and suggested to the staff that we taste before buying. We were greeted by the bar with tastings of a few selections and were able to learn about each. Everyone there was so nice and welcoming, I'll definitely make a trip back for a longer visit. We purchased our wines, said goodbye and headed off to dinner. A++

First I'll start how beautiful this place! They put a lot of afford to built it, but I'll never go back to this place because the customer Service was tribal. Very disappointed from the owner that not respecting his customers. A family member of mine bought two apple cider from them on Friday. One was with alcohol and the other was with out. Both were expired since 2008. As we opened the bottles and took a zip, on Friday dinner, we almost throw up. We went back on Saturday to return them. They called the owner to do the the refund. He was very arrogant. He didn't even apologize for the inconvenience, and it looks like he was hangry that we came to return. These ciders were spoiled! and it can be dangerous to even drink it! The owner accepted to give us only a credit for the next purchase. We didn't accept that. We wanted the money back.(the person that bought it leave out of the country and not coming anytime soon to visit) we asked for the money, and he said that he will refund the money, but we will be responsible for the credit card fees. We were very upset and shocked. This is how you are treating your customers??? We were not going anywhere with out the full refund. I never mentioned that their prices were very high compare to the other liquor stores. Yes they have hug variety of alcohol beverages. Do your self a favor, do not go there to buy anything. Go only to be impress from the beautiful place like you visit a museum. Not recommending at all

MARTY is the man along with all the staff including Chris. Good advice, amazing selection and fair pricing on hard to bottles and even the easy to get bottles are priced well. Can't go wrong and you are supporting our local family companies....which is important to me at least. Tasting rooms are awesome too

Wade's is to bourbon what Ollivander's is to magic wands. This place is THE best bourbon and wine store I have found. First, the people who work there are knowledgeable and very nice. Second, they actually let you sample the bourbon before you buy it. Lots of single barrel picks and off the beaten path stuff. Go on Thurs to Sunday and you can hit the tasting room when open (after 4:30 lately on Thursday/Friday). Pappy flights and beer flights and wine flights..... oh my

INCREDIBLY HAPPY that someone recommended wades wines to us. We just moved into town and were looking for places young professionals can enjoy without having to dress up to go to a tasting room. Started off with the bottle shop side and were already impressed by the vast variety of alcohol available. It is truly a one-stop-shop for all your needs. My SO who is a draft beer enthusiast was impressed by the selection they had here as well as the rest of the store. We were looking at the whiskey section as we are just getting into whiskey and we heard a little voice behind our shoulder, "you guys like whiskey?" and little did we know our lives would be changed by Marty (who likes to party). Marty has his own little space with specialty whiskey and is such an enthusiast, but also so friendly to those who are still learning. He taught us so much and was so generous with little tastings of his favorite brands. If our experience had ended there we would've been just as happy, but there is also a bar/tasting room! The tasting room is AWESOME. Any group of friends can pop in on a night and people with different palettes can enjoy their time there as they have wine, beer, tequila (oof), whiskey, vodka, etc flights that you can purchase. They have 100 beers on tap and even wine on tap. There's plenty of seating space with two rooms and an extra third room that has speakeasy vibes. Overall everyone was so friendly and we had a great experience. Will definitely be back! - J

Went in to grab a $600 gift certificate. They were not friendly and did not say thank you. Actually kind of rude. Plenty of other places to go around town so highly doubt we'll ever go back.
