I was driving through the area to check out some camping and I spoke to Abby on the phone for further information. I stopped here and had breakfast. The people were very nice. It wasn't terribly busy at 10 o'clock on a Sunday morning. They had a nice little garden area out back, where I sat and ate and drank some, great coffee. Breakfast items come à la cart so you can taylor your meal to your liking. I had ham and scrambled eggs with potatoes. Food was good and it came out quickly.

hands down one of the best cafes in the county and best cafe on a ridge in the world. Best juevos rancheros in or out of town. Favorite smoothie is the aloha w/ spirulina.I just had the best sandwich I’ve ever had here and I’ve lived on the ridge for ten+ years, it’s called the SEAN JUAN breakfast sandwich. In house pesto spread on fresh focaccia with tofu instead of the egg, avocado as the choice of protein, onions, local heirloom homegrown tomatoes, and melted cheese of your choice.vegan chipotle mayo on the side ?

Best little Cafe near the South Yuba River! Wonderful owners , Mike & Abby, who really care about their customers and offer great service. And the food choices are awesome and the food is great no matter what you order! Coffees. Teas, Juices, smoothies, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Great food !Live music happens occasionally, Sundays are always nice, outdoor / indoor sitting. A chance to really experience the Yuba River community and culture. Family friendly, access to internet for customers. Easy parking in parking lot across street. Cute and very nice worth it thrift store next door. And a very yummy pizza place next door too! If you decide to stay at milano inn..definitely check out Ridge Cafe!

I have been going here for years and it is had it's ups and downs. Definitely an important piece of North San Juan. There's almost always somebody at the front counter taking up line space talking to the employees and the last time I went in there I tried to buy coffee beans and they were dated a month old and the bag felt moist and gritty which I'd never experienced before. the woman behind the counter said they were new. When I pointed out that they were a month old she said that wasn't that long. If you can get past the over relaxed atmosphere which is admittedly a part of its charm, the food is usually good if not a bit expensive and the outside space alone is worth going to sit in and appreciate and you always meet or at least overhear someone interesting. Very unique atmosphere but truly a Ridge institution. In more ways than one.

Overpriced, they charge 1$ for a side of pico de gallo, I got two breakfast burritos and 2 smoothies for a grand total of 44$ when asked about the burrito the front server did not know about the ingredients so I asked for Salsa that she stated would be a extra charge of 1$ each for a total of 48$. For two breakfast burritos without meat and 2 smoothies

I'm a long time local and have seen this place change a few different times. It's always had killer food and continues to be my favorite place to sit and have great conversation with friends.
