Super charming get-away in remote part of Nevada County. North San Juan isn't exactly where I expected to find such serenity but, Milano's Inn certainly offered it. Would stay again!

The place is really nice and peaceful, the rooms have smart tv, heating, private bath tubs, good wifi connection and the beds are really comfy. The beautiful kitchen is fully equipped and very spacious. The host is extremely helpful and friendly, the place just has some great energy going on. Thank you! Definitely recommended.

Luxurious accommodations, a comfort both physically and spiritually. Beautiful grounds, old trees and a gracious host make Milano's an ideal getaway for anyone seeking a restful retreat near Ananda Village, Malakoff Diggins State Park, or the many natural and cultural attractions nearby. We will definitely be staying here again!

We stayed one night at Milanos Inn on our way up to the Lakes Basin area and wish we had stayed more. Kimberly is a super host for good reason. Milanos is an absolutely beautiful and unique property, built by the original owners Frank and Jeanie Milano. It was a very hot day but walking into the cool, clean and peaceful ambiance of Milanos was like a dip in a pool. We stayed in the Marble room, which is called that because Jeanie Milano, who did all the tile work at the inn, placed marbles in the shower tiles. Kimberly is warm and welcoming. One of the highlights of our stay was spending time talking with her. She has followed her dreams and her vision by moving her family from Southern California to became the owner and inn keeper at Milanos. We enjoyed the fresh fruit, hot beverages and various snacks available to guests. The kitchen is a work of art IMHO and very nice to have access to a refrigerator. There are lots of nice shaded sitting areas outdoors including the front porch and a side porch. Milanos would be a great place to stay for a week just exploring the Yuba River area. North San Juan is a kind of tiny hippie turn in the road. The Ridge Cafe is open 7 days a week but they close at 3 PM. Only option for food after that (on a weekday) is the gas station/convenience store, which is open from early AM until 10 PM, with lots of convenience food options and snacks. The Milanos Inn website is a bit confusing because the previous owner has maintained control over that name until November so the best way to book a reservation is through AirBnB, or to go to their Facebook page and contact Kimberly directly.

This place is really fantastic. The most comfortable bed I have slept on in a decade. This place provides a wonderful opportunity to come and recharge. A place that offers so many different ways to soothe your soul and fill your cup.Kimberly the New owner and innkeeper is really a lovely creature. She has committed her whole self to this endeavor and you can see it. Not just in the way she keeps it spotless; but just by talking to her you know she is inspired to provide a sacred, healing, comfortable, loving space. I only wish I had more time. Till next time then.

We stayed at inn over 5 years ago but I didn't have access to review. Great place, accommodating owners and we look forward to staying again this year for another wedding.
