I was having issues with my coolant, AC, and lower left beam. The owner was so honest and hands on with my situation! The price seemed fair and he gave me a break down which made me feel more comfortable. Will definitely be using this shop for all my mechanical needs!

Do not use this mechanic. He is dishonest. I had him replace my catalytic converter after it was stolen. He charged my insurance company for a Toyota factory catalytic converter. When I took the car to the dealership later, they told me the one he put in was an aftermarket one, and not from the factory.

Yesterday morning I went to start my car and...nothing except a "click" when I turned the key. Called AAA, they showed up in no time. I've had the car a month as of today (with 0 problems up til then)...as I normally take my vehicle to an out of town mechanic, I ddn't have that ease of an option as I had to be at work later that afternoon. So the technician called Fred at Superior Automotive, who immediately gave me a quote (needed a new starter) and was direct and honest. AAA is AWESOME and I've never had anything but amazing service from them, so I trusted the guy's judgment on a mechanic even though I'd just met him. I didn't have much choice unless I wanted to have my car towed to my normal mechanic, 20 some miles away and there was no guarantee they'd been able to get it fixed on the same day. He had the part in stock, gave me a discount for paying cash, and was able to get the part installed quickly - which enabled me to be able to get to work on time! He also noticed I had a coolant leak and topped it off at NO EXTRA CHARGE, and said to drive it a week and then bring it back to see where the coolant was going. Fred also has a firm handshake, great sense of humor and my bs radar (as I'm from small town Indiana) picked up nothing on him. I hugely value great customer service as it is becoming increasingly rare these days, you generally get shit service and pay more for it because you just have to deal with it to get things done (it seems that way anyway in a lot of cases). Fred automatically has my repeat business for whenever I need to have anything done locally to my car from now on and he will be getting referrals from me. Thank you so much Fred, you have a loyal customer from now on! God bless and all the best!Seth Worsham, 2009 Saturn Vue XE owner

Do NOT go here. Fred will lie right to your face, with a smile on his. Do yourself a favor and find an honest mechanic elsewhere.

I want to say thank you for taking care of my catalytic converter issue, but most importantly, for your great service in taking care of my situation. I am genuinely surprised when a business not only works hard to take care of their customers, but also makes a genuine effort to fix an issue, whether brought on by a faulty part or something else. Fred Krikorian made a legitimate effort to keep my business. Fred understands that the success of your business often depends on how well you connect with customers and meet their expectations. Positive customer experiences will boost your sales and raise your profile in the marketplace as a trustworthy, high-quality business worth buying from. Sure, we all want to make money, but in this day and age where corporate-business profits eclipse all other needs and customer loyalty is no longer earned, Fred understands that what is the number one key to a successful business is consistency which is key to success. If you are selling products or offering services, make sure that you consistently offer high-quality services. This way, your customers will trust you. Once you have established trust with your customers, they are less likely to move to your competitors. And I must say that Fred encompasses all these business traits. He made customer experience a priority, took steps to make things right and whole again looking at the long-term gains and customer satisfaction. It's not any mechanic that treats customers the way you have treated me. I will definitely recommend you to anyone with auto mechanic needs.

I'm posting this review before my vehicle is even finished and will update the review as necessary. Let me explain:I called 10+ local auto shops and 4 Chrysler/Dodge dealerships to schedule service for a timing belt replacement on a 2000 Plymouth Prowler. I was turned away by each and every single shop for multiple reasons, some of which being: 1. The car was too old and techs aren't trained for anything prior to 2008.2. The job is too risky/complicated.3. They don't have the capacity to do it.4. "There's not enough room in the engine bay to work."Signature Automotive Repair is the ONLY shop that was able and willing to do the job. After my phone conversation with them, I drove over so they could see the car in person and give me an estimate. The whole process was easy, enjoyable, and the gentleman I spoke to (probably Fred but didn't get his name yet) was receptive to a lot of the things I was saying and recommended service based on what I told him about the history of the car / what parts I thought it would need. His quote was fair, definitely under dealership rates. Supposedly, the car will be ready tomorrow, so we'll see!Update to come.UPDATE 01/11/23:Fred had the car finished on time and showed me pictures he took during the repair process. He's clearly very passionate about his work, and I appreciate that.I absolutely recommend Signature Automotive Repair to anyone and everyone.

My car has been sitting dormant for 5+ years while I was out of the country, and I brought it here for an extensive full check up and repair. For having sat in the garage for five years, they were able to find all the areas needing repair and bring my car back to life! Also, for how many issues needed attention, they were able to fix my car in just a few days. Fred also helped communicate with me how I could get a better deal by using different parts that would still do well for my car, and I was able to entirely fix my vehicle for a great price while still having peace of mind. There was also a water stain from a leaky pipe above my car, and they even took the time to remove as much of that stain as possible. Would definitely recommend their auto shop for big or small problems. Five stars!

Fred and company got things done for me fast. My Jeep has a problem with "Limp mode," which is somehow an actual concern and not a ribald joke. They got it taken care of quickly.

Ohhh nooo I hate leaving bad reviews but Fred knows what he's doing. My car's engine fan wouldn't turn off so I came in and he charged me over $1000 to fix it. Even though the car just needed a new fan module, Fred said it was about $800 for a whole new fan plus $485 for labor. I was so devastated and even considered selling my car because I couldn't afford this. Then I reached out to a guy I'm dating who is a mechanic and he tells me all the possibilities of what it could be but it's definitely not $1000 worth of repairs. So what I'm going to do is buy the module on eBay for $264 and do it myself. In my particular car it is actually very easy to access the module so idk why removing a screw and plugging in a new module would be $485 worth of labor. I don't know if it's because I'm a woman or if he does to everyone. I think you have to go in acting buddy buddy with him and he might give you a discount. He is highly rated in the community, I'm so disappointed that he did this. Costs to fix my car here: $800 for parts $485 for labor $145 to get it inspected (may or may not actually go towards the car repairs) Cost to actually fix the car: $264 Stay empowered ladies
