Stay away from salesman JD. After he sells you a car he ghosts you and never calls back if you need to reach him. They sold us a lemon model x. Cracked glass, whistling noise from the compartment, lop sided steering wheel. We submitted a work order, took it to Tesla in Santa Ana to repair, they gave us no communication status update, kept our car fir three days, assured us the repairs were made, but car still has whistling noise, lop sided steering wheel, and crack. Not to mention they gave me my car with 30 more miles on it, and with scuff marks . Very unprofessional I will be escalating to many levels. Just what did they do to my car? Because it sure isn't fixed.

Came in last week to demo a model Y but decided with one of the employees it would be best to reschedule for the following week to come pick one up for an over night demo seeing as though my two children under one years of age were with us. We made the appointment for 3:30 pm the following week. I saw they had an earlier time available through the email link they sent me so I updated it to an earlier time. Day of I drove all the way out to fashion island again to pick up the car. The employee who helped me last week noticed the time change and went to ask if it was ok for me to take the car at the scheduled appointment time. The manager didn’t even bother getting off his rear in the back room and had the employee come tell me that not only did I waste my time and drive out for a second time to the location but I can’t even return at 3:30pm, as previously scheduled AT TESLA, but rather 5 pm tonight. I politely told them no problem but I’m disappointed. My family and I were excited to test what we thought was going to be our next family car but the experience alone has settled my decision on a Toyota. Thanks Tesla of fashion island!

No ability to get through for help. "" Use the app "was the message I got when I as on the phone. Hence Terrible customer service. Because there isn't any. I have questions and need assistance because my battery is discharging very quickly. So my car is compromised

I went in to look at the model 3. I told the sales agent I was just browsing. He wanted and asked for my info. Every since then I have received emails, phone calls and texts. It is boarding on harassment!

My review is very mixed. First, I had an amazing salesperson. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and detail oriented about explaining everything from the functions of the car, how to charge it at public charging locations, which app to download, how to charge at superchargers, and he even gave recommendations on what types of outlets there are and how to set up different outlets at my home. He emailed me on what to expect within the next few weeks and when delivery would be and how to take delivery of my new vehicle. I put in an order with him and he stayed very responsive and texted me back almost immediately if I had any questions prior to delivery. 10/10 for the customer service. As for delivery, 1/10 stars. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, PLEASE.. look at the exterior and interior of your vehicle and check everything before you accept delivery and drive your car off the lot. I noticed so many issues with my car after a week. *My car was so dirty, but I didn't complain. It was filled with little pebbles and grass in the interior. It was raining the week I accepted delivery, so someone was probably in my car driving and dirtied it without using a paper liner. My trunk also had so many little twigs and dirt as well. Idk why it was so dirty. I had to lint roll it because my vacuum wouldn't pick up the small twigs. *My frunk was so crooked. I took my car in for service, and they had to realign and fix the front hood because there was an uneven gap. They repainted the bolts after they took off the whole thing to readjust. They painted it sloppy, and it just looks bad for a brand new car. I find myself constantly adjusting and fixing the hood by using the adjusting knobs that raises the hood up or down because it gets crooked a few times a year. Idk why. I might have the tighten the bolts again. It's annoying. It's literally crooked all the time now. *My charging door was not flush. I got it fixed and realigned within the first week by the mobile service team. Then I realized my car would not charge at superchargers. I asked other Tesla owners there to help me out since it might be a user error, but they told me something was wrong with my charging door bc their car charged just fine using the same charger. It was really weird. I took my car in again and they argued with me that my charger was fine, but I took videos that it would not charge at the supercharger. So stupid. They ended up not fixing it. I was arguing with the Irvine service center. They didn't help me, so I took it in to the Santa Ana service center and they ended up swapping out my entire charging door. My car hasn't had any issues charging since. F****** waste of my time dealing with the Irvine service center. The assistant manager lied and told me he was the manager. Then the real manager called me to ask me what happened and he still didn't help. *The driver seat of my car... the seal lining my door came undone... I could literally pull the whole thing apart. So I ended up taking my car back and they replaced my entire thing or maybe they lied and superglued it. Lastly, within the last year, I noticed my passenger side window has a mind of its own. When I try to roll the windows up, sometimes it goes down instead of up or it gets stuck. When I lock my car, all of the windows are supposed to roll up by default but my passenger side window gets stuck sometimes and will not roll up. The service center said they would charge over $120 to get that fixed. So stupid. I tried resetting my car several times, but the issue is still there. haven't had time to make a service visit but it's so stupid how I have these issues with my new car. I'm going to raise hell when I come in because I should not be paying to fix that computer box error. It should be under warranty. I'm stuck with this piece of s*** "luxury" vehicle. I would not recommend a Tesla right now. They are simply not ready yet. Their quality assurance checks are not great. I'm going to stick with BMW next time. Their cars are flawless. They

Very disappointing delivery experience. I was looking forward to this day. Was not notified when the vehicle was delivered. When I eventually saw the vehicle, it was dirty inside and out. There was a large scratch on the front windshield. I reached out to Newport Beach to speak to someone, nobody called me back. After multiple text messages, Nobody responded that day. After a couple of days, after frustration because nobody was calling me back, I visited nearest service center in Irvine. Staff member pulled up the delivery photos which were distorted, and because the scratch was not visible within the photo, although the damage was obvious after the service member inspected the windshield , they declined the warranty. Very disappointing, when clearly, the damage was from during transport.I was able to remove the grease stains, but a scratch on the windshield is unacceptable and should be replaced by Tesla warranty as the vehicle was not in new condition when delivered.

Nightmare experience on what should have been a really happy day. Vehicle was delivered with damage in multiple areas, no compassion, no empathy, for what's a terrible experience after sending tens of thousands of dollars for an expected new vehicle. I have no idea when I'll be getting my car back from the multiple defects it came with, Kevin Donahue | Pre Delivery Manager and Ryan Sutherland Sr. Delivery Experience specialist will be quick to get you to leave so they can hide behind emails letting you know you're totally screwed. Learn from my mistake, DO NOT ACCEPT DELIVERY whether encouraged by their team in any capacity, due to elements, or any other reason if even a single defect is discovered. THEY WILL SCREW YOU AND NOT HELP YOU. You bought a brand new car, don't let them treat you like trash like they did to me. All of these photos are only half of the defects documented.

Interesting new car showroom concepts, right in the middle of a famous shopping mall in Newport Beach called fashion island. Apparently they had cars to test drive in the parking lot down below. Nicely finished, fairly will informed staff, but just such a unique experience to be in an upscale shopping mall plaza and walk through regular glass doors into a car showroom! I hope they succeed as I like the concepts.

We love our Tesla but our salesperson Jonathan Bryant did not provide great customer service. The whole experience was disappointing, and not at all what I would have expected from a company as cutting edge as Tesla. There was very little assistance provided throughout the whole process. Once we ordered the car and placed a deposit in February 2021 for the Tesla to arrive around September 2021, we would have to take the initiative to see where it was in process. We also had issues trying to collect some bonus miles via a referral program, only after weeks of email follow up were we told it would not be possible to honor it. The program had ended by the time Jonathan got back to us (although the car had been ordered back in February). As another yelp reviewer mentioned about this same salesperson, we got the sense that once the $$$ale had been made, the customer was ignored. But other than the disappointing buying experience, we've been enjoying our Tesla (great sound system, beautiful glass sunroof you can stare at tree canopies and stars through & the acceleration (3.5s 0-60 mph) on the performance model are all my favorite features - not having to use gas to fill up is pretty cool too)!

This review is solely for RUSS who is an absolute angel on earth- I'm so sorry this took 6 months! I got into a car accident last September that left my car totaled and needed something to get back on the road. Of course the timing couldn't be worse because the market to buy cars, along with everything else, was absolutely horrible. I knew I wanted my next choice to be an EV and I went into this showroom not having any expectations whatsoever. I was paired up with RUSS and he was extremely informative without being pushy which put me at ease almost immediately. After hearing my options, I decided it would be best to be put on the staggering long waitlist. RUSS was amazing and not only checked on my status on a daily basis but would keep me updated with tidbits of extra information such as loans and etcetera which is something I didn't expect him to do. Even after the wait time was unbearable and I thought I would need to look for an alternative option, he managed to find a car for me from a different state that could be delivered within a week. I was shocked when it appeared in my driveway and the moments he checked in afterward. He even let me text him the next following weeks with any little question I had, no matter how menacing they were. If you're looking to get a Tesla then go to RUSS!! Thanks again buddy!
