HOW TO LOSE A CUSTOMER IN 3 EASY STEPSLong time client for last several years .Purchased my car and extended warranty from Porsche Newport Beach. Brought my car in for service. Technician starts off with its a 320 fee for diagnosis .I explain I have an extended warranty and I have never been charge this fee up front . Keeps repeating its there policy .Ask to speak to Service manager (Maria) . Maria is to busy to walk over and speak to me in person so Im handed the phone. She explains to me it is there policy unless you have an AUTO NATION bought extended warranty and that the advisor was correct....but wait I HAVE AN AUTO NATION EXTENDED WARRANTY,...so he is not correct. #1. Lesson before you tell your client he is incorrect do your research .#2 Lesson If your customer ask's to speak to the service manager and your the service manager (Maria)have the courtesy to speak to your client face to face when their in the dealership. #3 Lesson apologize for the mis -understanding . I understand mistakes happen we are all human. Its how you handle them afterwards is what customers remember .Thats all that it would have taken and this review what have never been posted. Will never return to this dealership .

It was by far the worst experience. I came in on a possible trade from my Austin Martin Vantage to the 911 Turbo S. I came in and spoke with a salesman that had clients at the time so he led me to a sales rep (I don't recall his name). I was told he's the most experience guy and that he would help me. I spoke with the rep for about five minutes about the car, told him what I'm looking to do and ask him if I can test drive the car before making a decision. I told him that I've driven the GT3 on the track numerous times, but have yet to try the 911 turbo s. My mind was pretty much set on the car. I asked him to take a test drive before making a decision. For whatever reason he did not take me seriously. He looked at me with hesitation and told me that the dealer is limiting the test drives as the dealer is trying to keep the miles low on the 911 turbo S. I was insulted. I got up and showed him my black card and advised him that I will never ever do business with the dealer and that he's the most unprofessional individual I ever dealt with. I have never been insulted this way before I've spoken with Porsche of San Diego Spoke with a serious salesman and I will be heading out there Saturday for a purchase. I will not recommend Newport Porsch Dealer to anyone

I had an extremely positive experience at Porsche Newport Beach. No snags whatsoever. Everyone was friendly, courteous, helpful and interested in not only all facets of the process of purchasing a vehicle, but also in follow up to make certain that I was satisfied and had any lingering questions answered. Chris Scales did a superb job of working with me and management to ensure that I was taken care of. The process of signing papers was swift and complete. There was no push to buy a bunch of extra warranties. I do, however, recommend the rim and tire warranty as the tires on these beautiful cars are wide and there’s more contact with the road so you’re more likely to pick up nails, screws, and all sorts of interesting things, as I have done, that will literally deflate your driving experience. Perhaps the most enjoyable part of the purchase experience was driving home from Newport Beach to San Francisco! Think of Porsche Newport Beach as a destination to find the car of your dreams. With that said, they have a pretty nice 992 GT3 available for sale at the moment. Check it out! Lewis

Porsche Newport did a fabulous job getting our periodic maintenance done on our 2023 Macan S this week. Turn-key would be the right word to describe it. While their main location is under renovation, the off-site repair shop is humming like a Singer sewing machine. A+ A+ A+

How about a 20/20 Land Rover from this dealership and immediately after arriving home I saw oil drops In the driveway. The following day I had to drive to Lake Arrowhead about 75 mi away and when I arrive the entire back of my car was covered in oil splatter. It turns out that the cargo area was flooded with oil or some sort of transmission fluid and the dealership did not find this before they sold it. But there was so much oil how could they not? It turns out that they didn't do their own inspection but they relied on the word of a Toyota dealership who took the vehicle in on trade and then transferred it to this dealership for sale.It has been 3 months and the oil leak has been addressed but when they had the vehicle in there possession to fix it they drove it and put a huge chunk in the front tire from hitting a pothole and damage the rim and there was a chip in the windshield. None of it has been repaired.I'm still waiting on a piece of foam that had to be replaced that the high capacity hybrid battery sits on. It won't be in until middle of November.Because they claim to do their own thorough inspection before selling any vehicle there's no haggling or negotiating allowed, yep when I bring this to their attention the best they could do is offer me a 4-year extended warranty for $100 above their cost which is like $5,000 Why should I have to come out of pocket $5,000 to have the confidence to buy a vehicle that they should have inspected prior to the sale.I requested several meetings with the general manager and each time I'm scheduled to come in he's conveniently not there has never, not once returned one of my calls or messages. How can any does not operate and stay in business treating their customers this way?I can tell you it's a good thing that Wayne Huizenga is dead because he would be ashamed at what his happened to the company that he founded.I warn you, stay away from this dealership!

We brought our Porsche Cayenne into Porsche Newport Beach for a tire replacement, and Service Appointment Coordinator Ethan Do as well as Service Advisor Simon Chen went above and beyond to make our experience a great one. Not only did they honor an offer that made pricing competitive with outside sources, but they also ensured I was able to reserve a loaner car, that my car was washed at completion, and that I was kept updated throughout the process. I am very pleased with this service center and its professionals!

Jason Sands listens and understands the concerns of his customers. Even when I make mistakes and miscommunicate, he helps me resolve any issues and goes over and beyond to help. He’s very good at his job and always makes me feel that my car is in the best care. He has a cool personality and loves talking about the new designs and cars that are coming into Porsche while being very responsible to get the job done well. Although he is busy at times, Jason remains very personable, professional, and gets my car serviced/ fixed quickly. He’s been my advisor for so long that Jason feels more like a trusted friend now. Although I live in Irvine and drive at least 30 minutes to get to Porsche Newport Beach, I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else.

I have owned almost a dozen Porsche cars since I became in love with the Brand after buying my first one. I always bring my cars to Jason Sands in Service, who is extremely friendly, honest, and professional. The communication between the technician (Aaron K.) Jason, and myself is always top notch. My car is always fixed in the absolute best practices as I look under the hood and it looks as if the car just came out of the factory. I can't explain how good my technician is. He is so detailed he hides the screws on hose clamps! I always schedule an appointment and request a loaner and they always have a beautiful new Macan to loan to me. Maria the service manager is always available to help me and she is always friendly and helpful as well. I am a lifelong customer and I understand that good work takes time and isn't cheap. For the complainers on here about price; don't own or go near a Porsche if you can't afford the maintenance. These aren't Toyotas; they're meant to drive 125 mph all day, so the parts that you complain about are there to keep the car safe at speed. If you want a smooth no maintenance car, buy a Lexus. Newport is my dealer for life.

We came here to buy a used Lexus for my wife and honestly it’s probably the least expensive vehicle they’ll sell all year.I say that only to explain that our experience was great and experienced great customer service and friendly staff.Post purchase they followed up and when we had a small problem with DMV they took care of it promptly.Great experience and hopefully can come back and buy a Porsche one day

Everything was great! Love my service advisor Evan. My car had a big service and the turnaround time was phenomenal. Didn't expect to get my car back for a week and got it back in 2 days. Even fixed an issue I had with one tire. Plus the car was immaculate when I got it back. As always Porsche Newport Beach (Costa Mesa, temporarily) did a wonderful job!

I was a previous Porsche Owner approximately 15 years ago and had my 911 serviced at Newport Auto Center. It was always a positive experience. I have since then purchased a Porsche Macan GTS from Fletcher Jones Porsche in Long Beach, but live in Huntington Beach, and the Newport location is closer so I brought my car in for service there. The location is currently under renovation, so it routed me over to Costa Mesa by the Airport. The location is what used to be the TESLA service center. The staff was welcoming and accommodating and took care of my needs. My only disappointing part was the amount of time it took to service my vehicle as they are quite busy. Response times can be slow due to the busy nature of the service center; however, car was serviced to perfection, and I am overall very pleased with the care I received. Thanks Newport Auto Center Porsche and Bently.

Laura was our service manager and she was very accommodating. We had just purchased a used Macan a few months ago and needed to get the software updated based on a recall. She kept us up to date the entire duration of the service and even gave us a small complimentary gift as a thank you. Needless to say it was a great experience and we would highly recommend

There was an issue with the Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) Macan Turbo that I purchased. The timing cover bolts had sheared, and when the vehicle was sold to me, it needed a 120 part $15,000 engine and transmission out timing cover replacement and reseal. Before purchasing, I received documentation from the service manager, used car manager, and certifying Porsche technician that the car passed the 111 point CPO inspection and had no oil leaks. After I purchased the car, I noticed a strong burning oil smell. Porsche Ontario identified the leak (documentation attached below) and Kenneth Lim (the after sales manager for PCNA) instructed me to bring the vehicle back to Porsche NWPT to resolve the issue. On three separate occasions when the car was brought to Porsche Newport Beach for service, I was assured that this oil leak was residual oil from a previous repair that had not been cleaned up. To protect them from any liabilities & keep their CPO license, they used this as an excuse to cover up their lies. The undercarriage was repeatedly detailed, but the issue was never resolved. I had an independent Porsche repair shop inspect the vehicle, and the repair was eventually made by Porsche Bellevue in Seattle, WA 70 days after the initial sale of the vehicle on March 30, 2023.Between service and sales, the entire team was dishonest and disrespectful. I worked with Robert Fischer (sales), Maria Perez-Castillo (service manager), Anette (assistant service manager), Tim Tauber (general manager), Evan Lebrun (service advisor), & Simon Chen (service advisor). Neither of these individuals were fully transparent with me, and absolutely no one at this dealership made an effort to ensue that my Macan Turbo was up to CPO spec.I am disappointed with the outcome and the fact that despite 8 attempts, no one at the dealership made an effort to solve the problem to my satisfaction. On 6/23/2023 I proposed a solution to remedy my dissatisfaction. Despite leaving three additional voicemails with my sales consultant and the general manager, I have not received a response. I am unhappy and shocked that a dealership such as Porsche Newport Beach would be so short sided and would fail to make an effort to treat a customer in a truthful and respectful manner.

I just purchased a Taycan Turbo S, it was the absolute best car buying experience ever and I’ve purchased well over 20 of them. First my contact with Jorge Hernandez was on point, we discussed the condition and features of the Turbo and everything he told was true. We set up the wire transfer, and transportation, The transporter represented Jorge/Porsche like pros. Communication was up dated as needed all the way to the delivery. Jorge set up my Turbo via telephone so I would have full use of the features on day one. Very seamless. Thanks to Jorge and Newport Porsche I am one happy Turbo S driving customer for ever.

I was provided with amazing care by Apollo who ensured that I was well taken care of and found the perfect car for me. He is such a kind, patient, generous person who came in on his day off to help me buy my car. I received top notch care because of him and will always remember that.
