If I could give them 0 stars I would. This place is a disaster. Their massage therapists are horrible, their policies are archaic and inflexible, and they try to trap you every single time in an up sell for a membership that I promise you will never be able to get out of without paying another huge fee or losing a ton of money. Their booking people and managers barely speak English and cannot do math/count dates, return phone calls, or accurately book/confirm massages. After you arrive 5 minutes early for your massage, they will trap you in the waiting room to fill out paperwork for 20 minutes so you miss a good portion of your massage. Run for your life!

After missing out for 6 months because of the virus, it was great to be able to get back in for a massage. My wife and I really needed to have our therapy massages and we could really tell a difference now. We already feel a lot better.

I've had quite a few massages in my lifetime. I've got Fibromyalgia so I depend on them twice a month for pain relief for lactic acid release and regular lymphatic drainage. This location's managers have been extremely helpful with all my health conditions. Just like any new relationship, you've gotta try different people out and communicate what your requirements are. With a new massage establishment, I always try out different therapists before I set up standing appointments. Once I find "the one," I ask to book them in advance. Negative reviewers don't seem to realize that this is not a SPA, but a membership sustained massage center. You can't just randomly book an appointment with just anyone and expect a Spa like experience. I go here for basic maintenance since their prices are reasonable, but if you want all the extras you'll pay double their price for the same massage at a "spa." TIP: Ask for their too/most popular therapists with lots of experience. Also let them know what your needs are. Some therapists don't do deep tissue, while others don't do stretching, so the more information you can gather, the better. CONS: There's a lot of turn over with their front desk staff and even lead massage therapists, so this can be frustrating, at time; hence, minus 1 star. I wish corporate wouldn't make all these changes so often because it's very frustrating for clients.

Forget ever going to Massage Envy my review stands true they are horrible. I just went to Head 2 Toe in Costa Mesa and had a 75 minute massage for $45. They literally start at the top of your head and do reflexology. If you go ask for Cindy it's like she knows your body. What a waste of money at Massage Envy. I am so so satisfied with the experience that I just had. And how can you be $45 for 75 minutes literally from the top of your head to reflexology to the tips of your toes. Make sure and ask for Cindy. I have been there before and did not have the same experience. But I have found the person Cindy Cindy Cindy Cindy. They even soak your feet and give you a complete hot towel treatment at the end. Their English is not great but it doesn't matter ask for Cindy $45 75 minutes or you can go longer but I'm completely satisfied.

I just want to share my experience with those contemplating this location. I started going here a few months ago because the one at Bella Terra is always super busy or I would arrive late thanks to traffic trying to get from Newport to Huntington during rush hour. I also had multiple scheduling issues at Bella Terra. I was told "there is another Karen R. in Minnesota they would confuse me with." I even had to speak with their supervisor to get my profile updated to add my middle initial so they would stop confusing me with Minnesota Karen R. Nina is great! If you're going to use this location, she's the one to see. She's very personable, professional and listens when you ask to lighten up or bring on the pressure. However, these front desk gals cannot book an appointment if their lives depended on it. I booked Nov. 22nd in person, after finishing a massage in late Oct. On Nov. 13th or so I called to reschedule because my FIL passed away and we were planning his funeral/memorial services. I rescheduled to Dec. 6th (today). Nov. 21st I get a call from ME as I'm pulling into the cemetery for my FIL's funeral that they want to confirm Nov. 22nd. I said no, I already rescheduled that and the girl said "oh ok, yes I see it here, we'll see you Dec 6." Today, on my lunch, it hits me I never got that day-before confirmation call. So I call and *shocker* I'm no where to be found in their system. I was irritated, but said "alright, whatever, it is what it is, not sure why I bother to reschedule when the appointments don't stick, but ok..." and we rescheduled to next week. Then I get a call from someone else a few hours later asking if I'm still coming to my appointment today because I'm 7 minutes late. Needless to say, I was pissed and I explained this whole thing to her. Her reason for the mix up: They have 2 profiles for me, my current one and my old maiden name/prior phone number one WHICH I HAVEN'T USED SINCE I CHANGED EVERYTHING WHEN I GOT MARRIED IN 2015 and NO ONE ELSE has ever brought this up in the last 4 years at either location. It's a very poor excuse for mismanagement of their calendar and nothing more. She did offer me her supervisor and I didn't in the moment feel that would help so I said no. I'm still considering what I want to do. Canceling my membership and going elsewhere is sounding pretty good right now. There's no point in paying for a monthly membership when I can't successfully make an appointment with this place. They get to keep my money whether I come in or not. Seems a little fishy to me that I'm paying for a monthly service and when I try to use it I get excuses like "there's another Karen R.," and "we have duplicate profiles for you." Maybe next week I'll get to hear about how their computer system has a new software glitch or aliens invaded and wiped out their server. There are two possible scenarios here: either I'm just very unlucky when it comes to scheduling appointments with two different ME locations OR these front desk girls just cannot communicate with each other or click the appropriate computer buttons.

I bought my mom a 90 minute massage, she thought that was too long and wanted to use only 60 minutes of it, A. They never gave her the gift card back? B. They were unable to help me. Front desk is clueless and rude. C. They had the nerve to charge me $65.00 for the difference My mom was happy with Nina ,but unfortunately she can't go back. Cause they kept the gift card. I'm not happy at all. Never going back! Customer service is very important to us.

This place is incredibly unprofessional. I've been trying to get ahold of a manager for a week and nobody is calling me back. They have been incredibly disrespectful and make it impossible for you to cancel your account. This place is definitely a scam. I have three emails in photos below of proof of me giving this manager my email and contact information to contact me. All of my correspondence has been removed. This place is an embarrassment and the franchise owners should be ashamed of themselves

Often great therapists, but the worst customer service. Never an accommodation for their error or incovenience. Always a way to charge more for any reasonable request.

I had the worst massage of my life at Massage Envy today. The guy kept rubbing my body and acted like he was in a hurry to get to the next body part. After about 60 minutes I asked him how long he had been giving massages and he said "About 7 months. I'm new and still learning" He seemed like a sweet young man but it was a total waste of money. When I complained to the manager she offered to throw in a complimentary aroma the next time. I told her that when you provide a bad service they should make good on it. She just said sorry and kept my money. I'll never go back there again. And shortly after I posted this review I received the same automated email saying the exact same thing. This company truly deserves the bad reputation that is is earning from hard working people who feel ripped off.
