If you'd like to be treated well, make sure to dress the part!

Bizarre business practices and strange fabrications about sums up our experience with this store and its owner. We ordered a dress online for my daughter to wear to an event, but we could only get her a medium because the small was sold out. It was a bit big on her, so she decided to go with another dress from a different retailer. The absurdity started when we went into the store to return the dress she did not wear: We were first being helped by a teenage employee, but then a middle aged blonde woman (who I now understand to be the owner) took over and started scrutinizing the dress for damage. Regardless of the state of the dress (my daughter had tried it on in our home to see if she liked it, and the dress was fine then), it was pretty clear to us the owner planned to find a flaw so as to not have to issue a refund. We were also informed that the dress would have to be mailed off to their "online warehouse" for them to make a determination about whether we would receive a refund for the "damaged" dress. I'm pretty sure this online branch of the company does not exist because I picked up the dress in the exact packaging it was in when I left it at the store. According to her, they painstakingly videotape the packing of every garment that is shipped for online orders, so apparently they were going to review the tape to see if the current state of the dress matched when it was mailed to us? That seems rather labor intensive for an under $100 dress. Not surprisingly, we received an email stating we would not receive a refund. She cited the nonexistent "rips" in the dress and their policy about a two week time limit for returned merchandise. We did try to return the dress about a week after her cut off time, and, while not the most consumer friendly policy if you want return customers, at least I can understand the time limit policy over the other strange behavior we encountered. Additionally, if someone can try on a garment once and damage it, then that says something about the lack of quality of the garment. People need to be able to try on clothes they want to purchase. Love Lola's site advertises their fashions as being from Australia; however, the brand touted by the owner as being her best seller, Sky to Moon, is just a clothing wholesaler from LA. It is very apparent when one walks into the store that it is filled with garment district clothes created locally and on the cheap. I would have initially been okay with this because our purchase was for a teenager who would wear it once, but we were treated so ridiculously that I felt a need to write a review (which I never do).

The cutest shop ever. Literally everything you see you want to try on or take home! I came for one maybe two things and left with a third one that just caught my eye and I had to have. I loooove everything I got and get so many compliments on it so I send everyone there!! I will definitely be going back. The owner helped me find things and helped me lace up one the the dresses so I could just wear it out. She is so helpful and sweet.

Super bad service and super bad quality. My sister and I came in to this store and all of the dresses were super cute so we were both very excited. When we went to go try on the dresses, a worker (don't know her name) with straight blonde hair was helping my sister into the room. My sister is a little curvier but all the clothing was her size. The girl looked her up and down and said "be careful trying these on please." I did not get told this (I have a different body type than my sister) so this is really bad looks on that worker. I didn't know she did this until after we left the store because my sister didn't want me to say anything so I had bought a dress. If I had heard this comment I definitely would not have purchased it. Upon wearing the dress for two hours, the seam is completely detached (and not anywhere that would've stretched) so the quality is super bad too. They won't give me a refund for it either and it was $80. Overall, bad experience and bad quality.

The store has been closed all morning because their power is out. How long does it take to fix a power outage?

Ladies working here are very talented in eye rolls. They also don't carry any XS. Better to shop online with other aus clothing sites.

I order a two piece knitted outfit from Love Lola's online boutique. The outfit was well made and so dang cute, unfortunately it just didn't fit right on my body. Top was too small and skirt was too big. A few days after I received the set I went out of town for a couple weeks. Once I got home and settled I reached out to love Lola via email to go about the return process, for whatever reason their response email wouldn't download so I couldn't see what was said. I ended up searching the boutique realizing they were 25 minutes me! I went in person to return or exchange and I was told I couldn't do either because I missed the 14 day window. So now I am stuck with an $80 outfit that doesn't fit my body at all. This was a huge disappointment. I feel like I just through money at the a wall. The owner should really give more grace for exchanges, life happens and it's not always easy to make that two week grace period. I totally would have come back and given more business to this place, all the clothes were super in style and looked to be good quality. Also, this boutique only does exchanges or store credit. You will not get your money back at all.

I bought an $85 dress from this boutique online, got it in the mail, opened the package, immediately didn't like the dress, and put it back inside to ship it back for return/store credit. A few days later I get an email from Love Lola telling me they cannot accept my return and that there was makeup on the dress and that I need to pay them to ship the dress back to me. This is after I already paid $13 to ship the dress back in the first place. When I emailed them back asking for a phone number to talk to a manager or someone further about my issue, they never emailed me back, and it's been more than a week. So I don't have the dress or the $85 I spent on it to begin with. Bad customer service... wouldn't recommend ordering from them online.

I stopped by when I was running errands in the same plaza, the clothes are very trendy and cute but I noticed that the worker was not wearing a mask and didn't even enforce masks to other customers. Can't really shop here if I don't feel safe, I just walked out of the store.

I bought a dress here for a big event this coming weekend. Once I got home I realized that the fit of the dress just wasn't what I was looking for. I came back the next day to return it to learn there was no way possible to get my money back. The owner informed me that I could either exchange or find something new. I wasn't informed that there was NO RETURN policy money back guarantee. I don't live in the area so not sure when I will be able to use the gift card. I was very upset and the owner seemed to not care. I'm sure this is how she keeps her business open due to the fact you still have to spend money at the boutique. As a salon owner myself this is not how we handle customer service. She also has not properly trained her staff to do returns, so I had to wait until she was back at the store to get my store credit. Again horrible customer service.

Ladies take note - ISABELLES CABINET in Newport Beach has the same dresses and tops for 30% cheaper!!!!! This store also does not accept returns, and they don’t mention the import duty/tax payment on the site when u order online. I now have to pay an extra $180 on my package to the Netherlands.

Came in to this store for the first time Sunday browsing since I was from out of town and was really disappointed. I made the mistake of looking at the candles and grabbed one by accident not knowing if had a glass lid and it slipped right out of my hand. The glass lid broke and the girl working at the store proceeded to tell me that I needed to buy the candle because they would be loosing profit and would have no means of reselling the candle. She was not patient at all, she had MAJOR ATTITUDE as if it was a burden to her what I did. I asked her honestly if this was the case necessary to do so and she just kept assuring me that they would be loosing profit. NEVER have I been to a store where they made be buy something that was accidentally broken. NEVER going back to this store again! Let this be your warning.

Went in today & everything was going extremely well & some sweet girl was helping me throughout my shopping experience I believe her name was Jenny, but my problem was with an older lady who seemed like the owner/manager who was SO rude! While trying on clothes, I could literally hear her telling Jenny "Are you counting all the clothes she's giving you" "Make sure she doesn't have anything in her fitting room" AS if i'm going to steal something, and other customers were in fitting rooms as well and she only said something about mine. In addition, I saw two dresses that were on the "sale" section for $10 and after seeing my receipt she charged me $20 for two dresses, she was so rude that i didn't even want to go back in the store that's how uncomfortable she made me. The clothes is cute, however you want to feel welcomed and paid attention to where you shop by ALL employees especially a manager/owner. No wonder there was hardly anybody in there.

Cute clothes - but RIP OFF! For example, there are "vintage" band shirts being sold right now for almost $100 in store!!! I found the EXACT SAME SHIRT for $18 online ( THEY ARE SELLING THE SAME DESIGNS AT HOT TOPIC FOR $6!!! I found the same lacy bralette for only $13, when it is sold on the center racks at the store for close to $50 ( The clothes are SO cute and the girls who work here are extremely helpful and kind... but I keep finding the exact same items online for soooo much cheaper. I used to shop here almost once a week, but now it is hard to be loyal to a store when you realize that you are being ripped off for more than TWICE the price! Also, $100 for a vintage shirt that isn't vintage is ridiculous. "Vintage" means it is between 20-100 years old, after 100 it is considered "antique". The design on the shirt is a vintage design, but the shirt is just a regular brand new printed t-shirt. It isn't an actual VINTAGE shirt. I don't know how someone can stomach selling a printed t-shirt for that much money... you are taking people's hard earned money. Maybe if a portion of proceeds went to charity I would approve, but this is outrageous.... The owner has lost my business as well as all of my friends and family. I will no longer be recommending this store, I will be recommending the websites that sell the same clothes for a price that is legitimate and FAIR!
