I went here this morning with my husband. We bought some books. I asked the man there for a novel recommendation and he gave me 4. He was very helpful in explaining the premises for each novel and choose quite a variety. We left with 4 books and a baby book. I’m looking forward to reading the novel and of course coming back to this bookstore for more.

Small store but good selection and very helpful staff. Was in town for vacation and was able to find some good reads for me and the kids. Would definitely recommend.

This will remind you why independent book stores are ALWAYS the way to go. Fantastic selection, well laid out with friendly staff who seemed to have read absolutely everything and had fantastic recommendations. You could spend hours here no problem. Great kids section too

BEST BOOKSTORE I HAVE SEEN IN MY LIFE. I am a avid book reader who has gone to Barnes & Noble more times than I would like to admit in my life. But I stumbled upon this shop one day when looking for a new cafe (Rye Goods right next door) and thought, "hm, I should probably go check it out." THANK GOD I DID BECAUSE IT SELLS EVERY NOVEL I WANT TO READ. From recipe books, to romance, to action, to kid, to classic re-telling a in beautiful newly decorated covers. This place has it all. The workers are so kind, and the owner is probably the nicest person I have ever met in my entire life. Grab a book, a pastry from Rye Goods, and then coffee from Herst Coffee and you are all set for your solo adventure for the day!!!

I spent a lovely evening in this beautiful little bookstore happily perusing the shelves. I adore bookstores where the employee is knowledgeable and willing to help people when they need it, but will leave a browser to themselves. I was greeted nicely and allowed just to look without being bothered. I found a copy of Carry On by John Lewis that I absolutely had to have. This is just such a lovely store with a beautiful selection. Can't wait to go back!

Wonderful book store. The team is knowledgeable and friendly. I always love coming in here and just talking about new books, as well as learning more about the classics. They can also order books from the publishers if they don't have them in stock. Love this little local book shop!

Great little bookshop tucked into a corner inside Lido village. Great quiet escape from the moment you walk in. They have a great selection of both books and gifts. The coffee table book selection is outstanding! Love this little shop!

I came back to take away 4 stars. What happened is abominable, it's as if the owner doesn't even care. But they do care about their agenda.Once, this was quaint, as Lido was once quaint. Now, it's all biased books that point in one direction only - a Leftist view of life. Lido is now about social media and looking pretty while you eat your sprouts. What I found was a small selection of books written mostly by those who believe we are not all equal, those who want to hold down and suppress by means of telling us we've been suppressed. Which is a lie. As we now see, it was all a lie. The choices in subjects did not divert, everything was calculated, everything was sad. There were no graphic novels as there used to be, no authors for an easy beach read or cookbooks for the mom who loves to cook but needs it to be fast because her kids want to play in the sand. It was sad. The clerk was mildly paying attention and was likely writing her dissertation on the woes of females & minorities in her high end sneakers and denim jacket. This was once a wonderful store and sadly, it died.

A cute bookstore with small selections of each genre. The lady at the front desk was really sweet and provided a lot of information.
