This happened a few years ago, 2021, just getting the strength to post now. My hair melted off so bad. It was obvious something bad had happened because my stylist walked away and suddenly someone I'd never met took over, I think the owner. They gave me a free conditioning treatment, didn't know why ar the time. They charged me and I paid in full with a tip, my stupid over-politeness. Didn't say a word. And when I got home noticed half my hair was gone, especially the front. It was so short and thin because layers of it was missing. Never went back there again. My hair is getting better and better now. My stylist name I think was Ken. Not sure if he still works there, he always wore a beanie. I'll update if I get the correct name.

If I could give 10 starts I would! I moved to OC almost 10 years ago and the first few times when I got my hair done elsewhere locally, I had horrible experiences. Despite choosing not cheap salons and experienced hairdressers. After extremely bad experiences I seen a couple of hairdressers for hair trimming only, because I literally was afraid to damage my hair again. I love my hair. I have lots of it, very healthy, no extensions and I didn't want to ruin it. Anyways, I kept searching for a stylist who I could trust. After a few months of research and willingness to take a risk again, I saw Jonnie and Abel. I could not be happier with the result. They are phenomenal at what they do. Jonnie did my color and Abel my haircut. Both jobs were done amazing! They don't cut corners, they truly are doing the best job. These two are the gem. I am happy that I found someone who I can trust with my hair and make it look amazing. On top of that these guys have great personalities, genuinely good people.

My hair was a mess after pregnancy / baby girl arriving - We're talking extremely dry, tangly and overall just super sad! I was honestly SO nervous about getting it back on track after such a long break away from hair appointments, but Jonnie and Abel got it right back on track in just one session (I'm sorry for how bad I let it get, guys)! I'm honestly so happy to be back with these guys! After leaving Europe for NYC and now spending a lot of my time here in OC, I haven't even gotten close to finding ANY stylists in OC that are able to create such gorgeous, natural highlights or blending them in as well as Jonnie just did! Abel finished up with a perfect hair cut and I couldn't be happier! If you're looking for high standards and true hair magic, I would recommend making an appointment with these two!

Jonnie and Abel are so great. They did exactly what I asked and even better. I feel beatiful! I would highly recommend them. Not only are they professional and very skilled, they are super friendly, fun and have amazing experience . I can't wait to see them again.

ZERO customer service. Tried to schedule for an entire week through their text-scheduling process. When we finally settled on a time, I learned it wasn't booked! Not accommodating at all.

Blanc Noir and Dennis saved me. Seriously. I had a horrible experience with another salon (see review!) and after color correction my hair was a disaster. I called and they were able to fit me in the next day, thankfully. I was covering my hair in a ballcap - that's how bad it was. Dennis was lovely - I really enjoyed working with him, he knew what he was doing, and given what he had to work with he did a fantastic job. He even fixed bangs that had been cut way too short. It was worth the $550 (with tip) to feel good again. My only thing I would improve is that, while the assistant was nice, he pulled foils out pretty roughly and his blow out was kind of painful and not amazing - I was happy when Dennis took over and finished styling my hair because it looked beautiful when I left. I really appreciated Dennis taking great care of me - he was sincere and understood how I felt and I enjoyed talking with him. He made me feel comfortable and like I was in good hands. I feel lucky I was able to get in on short notice. I will be back.

One of the best they say. But bad management and customer service. I had an appointment and they did not register on system, I get there besides I live far, and they are like " sorry I see the conversation but your not in the system" . Such of waste of peoples time . Not so great after all

Most expensive salon trip, and for a result that didn't equate to such cost. I believe in paying for what you get, but there was nothing 'special' about this salon. Nice staff, but no reason to return or recommend.

Shout out to Dennis!!!! OMG he's amazing. My hair needed so much TLC after a year in the pandemic and he just knocked it out of the ball park. I've never received so many compliments in my life. Dennis took the time to listen to what I wanted and did his magic. It came so naturally for him because not only is he an expert on color and highlights but also confident and rightfully so might I add. His talent is beyond words. Had a root touch up, highlights, and a great cut and blowout. Dennis is the all time super star. Also, the salon is top notch! The staff is amazing and friendly, they kept the place looking clean like a million bucks. This is my go to hair salon going forward, no other can compare. Shout out to Blanc Noir, owners, and the staff, y'all rock!!!

Today was my first time at this salon and Cynthia absolutely NAILED IT! I'm in love with my hair! She got the exact blonde I wanted and have been wanting for years! She's also one of the most professional stylists I've ever had. My whole experience was amazing and I couldn't be happier

There are not enough stars to accurately rate Liz @ Blanc Noir! Not only is she a stellar stylist, but she carries herself with grace, professionalism and kindness. I am a pretty indecisive client when it comes to my haircut, but Liz is extremely patient and listens to ALL of my ideas. She ultimately guides me into the right direction for my hair texture and lifestyle, and ALWAYS exceeds my expectations! Liz is also a master at bangs, and I will never trust another with my trims, so look no further for your bang needs! Beyond her many talents, the true diamond of the salon experience with Liz is her genuine personality and warm heart.

Liz was an absolute dream and life saver at the same time!! I needed a hairdresser for my vow renewal and wow did she deliver!! Blanc handled the transaction flawlessly and without hiccup, Liz showed up on time and my updo was everything I dreamed of!! Its nice to know that incredible customer service is not dead completely and we are so grateful to have met Liz and have since become great friends!! She is my go to hairdresser in SoCal, if you want an amazing experience with someone who LISTENS and delivers exactly what you expect, CALL LIZ!!!
