I came here on a Friday afternoon to sort out vehicle title name change and the whole experience was very smooth and easy. The people working here are all very friendly and helpful. Also, parking is super easy with their ample parking lot. There was barely any wait when I got here, at most 10 minutes but it was a work day. This branch is very airy and spacious so even if I had to wait, it would've been a pleasant wait. The branch has two floors but they do have an elevator in case you need assistance with mobility. The branch office is such a convenience for some DMV errands if you don't want to deal with the craze of going to the DMV. You can pay for a lot of services here but they do charge a 2.3% fee to cover the credit card transaction fee. Most of the DMV items can be done online nowadays, but if you come across any that require you to go into the DMV, I highly recommend checking to see if you can do it at AAA first.

Terrible customer service. Angel and Jared are quick to hang up on someone when they don’t know an answer or transfer you to a line that leads nowhere. I’ve asked to speak with their manager multiple times and instead get transferred back to the main line. I love AAA insurance but this office is unfortunately incompetent.

Triple A used to be awesome. Unfortunately, recently they have gone to an auto assistant and it's next to impossible to get a human being to answer your questions on the phone. Unless your buying insurance! The only way ti get help is to go into a branch in person. Additionally, I had to use roadside assistance recently and the service technician that showed up did not have the equipment to change my tire or air in his portable container to take care of my car. Seriously, if you need to charge more for membership to maintain the quality of service you had in the past do it because right now your worthless.

Bought an new Tacoma and called AAA to simply add my Tacoma and remove my Ford.It took them over a year to remove the Ford and place my Tacoma on my policy. We also have a Honda Accord on the policy! After supplying them with a Bill of Sale for the Ford July 2021The back dated my policy leaving us with a one car policy and absorbing the entire year of $750 I paid for the Ford and then charged us an additional $500. Because it was now a one car policy!!Still never adding the Tacoma! Now they want to add the Tacoma and bavk date it like it was insured the entire time to avoid the additional $500. Charge but still abdorbing the $750 for a vehicld that was never insured!Spoke to Nick Torress the manager over at the Newport Office who never returned one phone call!!He cant help me do amything and offers me an biz card with an 800 number.Spoke to Yvonne Green who told me I would receive a refund then she drops the ball and does not reply to my emails.I have been a customer of AAA for over 40 years and this is how that treat me.I will continue to fight for whats right but they are not very helpful and none of their computers seem to record the same info. Im not even allowed to see a copy of my accounts.Wonder why!!Beware of AAA they are not what they use to be. Not to mention I had to wait 3 hrs for a tow in the pouring rain, stuck in the middle of an intersection!

Not happy with AAA and the roadside service. Last 6 years i have had to replace the battery, 3xs in Newport n 1x in costa mesa. Finding out that it depends on where you live/at is what they will charge you for the battery and the proration amt. of the battery. I thought you had them working for you but they're all I.C. Which I've had to wait longer times to get help. DIRECT HIRE. My batteries haven't lasted 2 yrs. they started having issues at 1.5. I'm tired of paying for batteries that aren't good. Now I have to buy a battery and you now have free replacement but i have to spend another 200.00 then get the warranty. What kind of services is this. Nothing for the membership. i was with you for years then cancelled for 10, but recently came back but probably going to cancel. your rates are going higher but not service. I cant afford this right now!!!! You should make good and give me a free battery!!! You have a reimbursement policy but 10-1, i wont get my money back. NOT HAPPY. Customer service is the key to keeping them but i guess you dont care because you're AAA I will say other member services that I have had experience with have been good, but it's simple stuff. I deserve a NEW BATTERY FOR FREE. CSR, all they say is, sorry cant help you.

This review is for the AAA insurance service not for the local office. This is 2nd time when we needed an emergency towing but after hours of waiting and many phone calls nobody showed up. A terrible service, too bad I can’t give it a negative 5-star review.

They are now as bad as DMV. You cannot reach a live person. It is all virtual assistance. It is incomplete service. I will not be renewing.

Don’t let the starts fool you. It is understaffed and they are not helpful at all and rarely are. Pick another location or just go to DMV it’s not much worse.

Thank god AAA has a DMV department so I don't have to deal with the headache of the DMV. I bought a new car and traded in my old car, but I wanted to keep my personalized license plates on my old car and put it on my new car. Just in case you're not in the know, the dealership will take your personalized plates off your old car for you so you can hold on to them. They'll put the temporary paper plates on your new car. You'll have to wait 3 or 4 weeks for the new metal plates to come in the mail. Once you get them, you take both sets of plates to AAA. They'll keep your new plates and give you a new registration card with your personalized plates info on it. There's a $43 fee for that. The Newport Beach office even had a screwdriver, so I could put my plates on right there in their parking lot. Lol. A pleasant experience. Thanks AAA!
