Sierra Shangri-La is the most beautiful place to stay.. well kept grounds and cabins. Every time I go I never want to leave! The camp hosts are super nice and friendly and make sure you have the most relaxing stay by helping you with any of your questions or needs. I love this place!!!

Came here a couple of times with dad when I was a kid. Came back years later multiple times with friends around age 19 and now just came back at age 40 with my daughter today! Needless to say, it's the best summer swim spot I've ever been to

Great small creek in South Yuba. Parking lot is next to the creek, but it gets little crowded during the weekends. There are stairs from the parking lot to get to the creek, which is little steep. Pet friendly. Dogs can swim with you in the water. Water is bit cold, but it is great during sunny days.

This is just a great little place to go swimming in the summer. Been going here for 40 years and I just love it. Don’t go in the winter but the summer is great. Be careful you don’t hit your head on a rock.

Great place to view the South Yuba River in its full grandeur! The river is flowing with full capacity and it is pleasant to be there. You could see how much the water level has increased compared to photos from other reviewers past couple of months!

Such a beautiful location to hangout for the day! Birds nest under the old bridge in the spring. There are plenty of trails to hike. Wonder views abound. This is also a nice area to swim in the summer time.

We went to check out the flow of the water. The snow was holding it in place in the mountains

Wow what a river, what a hike. I can't wait to come back in the summer. Wild with water this winter but stunning nonetheless.

Watch out for the deadly black ice. You'll be lucky if you survive the winding drive along a cliffside hwy to witness the dangerous currents of the river which drown dozens of people every year.

Great place. be prepared to hike if you don't get parking. Good family spots if you can get away from the bridge. Lot of drunk teens. The father away you go the less clothes there seemed to be.
