Lady who interviewed me for the 30 minute phone interview was rude and tried to mom shame me for choosing not to breastfeed. I barely started this program and already feel discouraged, and most likely will not continue with it if this is how they treat people.

Very rude ladies in this office. They don't seem to know anything about serving society. Isn't this why WIC is here? To help?? Seems like they don't want anyone there. They are nice only to people that they choose. Totally racist.

These ladies don't want to help people. They think they own the wic office when they only work there. They wouldn't help me when I needed help to breathe feed my baby, they where so rude I had to leave even If I am a wic member they still treated me very bad and my baby missed the opportunity to breast feed because I lost hope because these women in this office treated me very rude.

Extremely rude & unprofessional.My wife & I applied for this when she was 7 months pregnant. I helped her get through the application process and everything, however, they didn't let me talk to them over the phone on behalf of her even though she authorized to. My wife at the time struggled with having energy to do anything & she missed an appointment. She had to reschedule & the woman she spoke to was so rude about it saying "Please don't miss an appointment again because it waste time & other women are looking forward to this." I kid you not that discouraged my wife from continuing this program. And unfortunately we didn't continue it. Seriously they treat people like trash.

What a horrible experience! Every time I come it's over a two hour wait. The girls in the front are always rude. They treat everyone unfairly. One of the girls keeps being in her cell phone and the other lady is walking around giving the other coworker attitude making sure she does her job. When she's mainly not. This is not a welcoming visit. It never is. They're cold hearted and rude. Always with an attitude. It's upsetting because they don't like their jobs. They need better management and they need to all be retrained or reminded what their job is. Theres signs that say walk ins welcome but yet they tell us it's a three hour wait. It shouldn't even like that. The only good person that does her job well is the short lady in the back with short black hair. Shes awesome. But the other stuff is horrible.

WIC National City location. Clean inside & out. My family has been going here every 2-3 months for the past two years. The WIC staff here goes above & beyond to give great info & treat you with the utmost respect. I have two children below 5. Subject matter experts here provide Nutrition Education, Healthcare & Community Referrals for the mother & children. Note: There are also Breastfeeding support classes if you wish to attend. I'm always amazed how caring the WIC staff is from the front to the back offices. Special mention to Wendy, Sasha & Roxy. As a Military Veteran, I salute you for your service to the community. Thank you!

I came in here with no appointment trying to get my wic for the first time and Roxy helped me out a lot !! She made me feel so comfortable and helped me with everything, all the other ladies were very nice as well I'm super happy I came into this WIC definitely recommend!

My visits have been good so far. I don't even mind the long waiting. However, just rescheduled an appointment today and the person on the phone was a bit rude and passive aggressive with answering my questions (2 questions). She would also cut me off while I was still talking.. was about to ask her if she was having a bad day because she brought out some attitude. Not feeling the customer service at all.
