We had a nice chit~chat. Our chat was about the soaring food costs. “I really want to give this place 5 stars but I just can’t because I don’t think the pies are “great”. I absolutely love the staff and the owner. Everyone is so nice and the owner explained why she started making specialPies and they’re an amazing family to support.The pies are good but not great and that’s why it’s 4 stars not 5. The pecan bourbon pie we had was just ok- too much molasses it tasted like. The gluten free banana cream pie crust was AMAZING but the actually banana/cream part was not good. The berry pie we got was again nothing special. I know organic ingredients are more expensive and I’m all about supporting amazing people like this but 2 small pies and 2 large pies should not be $100 unless they blow my socks off. The curry pot pie we got a few weeks back was probably our favorite thing. Support this place it’s awesome overall but I would pick a regular pie moving forward and not a gluten free one bc those are just ok.”
“It's not as big as the location on Winchester, but I was still thoroughly impressed with that store, more so their customer service. Elyssa, in the alcohol section was really sweet and helpful and took down a couple of our requests to see if she could order from her vendors. She was really patient answering all our questions and informative/knowledgeable on their products. This was my first visit here and I will definitely be returning!”
“It's an Albertsons. Big, clean, well stocked store. Staff is always friendly a helpful. Prices are outrageous, expect when things are on sale. Like I said, it's an Albertsons. Take the good with the bad. I frequent this location out of convenience. Personally prefer Stater Bros price and selection, however, it's not always as convenient, and that's no knock on this store. Giving it 4 stars, consistent with what you would expect from an Albertsons, knocking one star for price.”

“Four stars only because my AF store in Murrieta does not have a great selection. For instance, I can not get 1% Lactaid milk, only 2%. And I dont think they carry my vanilla flavored vodka. It's not a huge deal, but it's my preference, so I go to another store when I want it. I like having a butcher, too. There are so many other things that I love about Amazon Fresh: no checkout lines - you just scan your code and exit, easy payment and very accurate accounting of what i bought, great prices, great vegetables and fruit, and I can take my amazon returns there. All the cameras in the ceiling were hard to get used to, but now I just ignore them. I like going there to get a slice of pizza because a whole pizza is too dangerous for me to bring home. What is really nice is that they deliver via Amazon Fresh shopping in the Amazon App. No fees if over a certain amount, much cheaper than other grocery delivery apps. The last delivery that I got was spectacularly well wrapped and cared for - you pay grocery store prices and no delivery fees! It's fantastic. Also, it's not super close to me. If it were the same size and as close as my go-to grocery store, I would prefer it.”

I love that you have no self check out lines ,so I can appreciate the wonderful customer service provided by each and every one of the cashiers and baggers ... I have never ever have had a bad experience, from the bakery, the sushi, the meat department and the fruit department is all top notch in my book . I went in on a busy long line Super Bowl Sunday morning, but saw Cindy again, smiling , conversing, working hard and I was happy to be in her line to get that warm customer service from her ! Always pleased with Cindy and absolutely all employees here! Not to mention the best prices too! Please keep everything the same and don't ever get those self checkout lines, it's one of my main reasons I enjoy my hometown Stators!”
“It was my third time at Cardenas yesterday and I just had to get the carnitas because they are very good & the person helping me her name was Aileen she was super nice and I can see that she’s a good worker because she was in the cashier and taking orders and was doing a good job. I wanted to give her a $5 tip but she said they’re not allowed to take tips , that sucks which they should get tips but other than that it’s a good store and I recommend the carnitas ??”
“My go to store. I am going to write primary about their drive up and go as that is what I usually do. I pick up food once a week and in the past 2+ years I have only had something wrong three times. Each time it was quickly corrected. Very convenient for a mom on the go. I also appreciate the seafood counter, always given good advice and the cuts I want.”

“We LOVE Cardenas Markets! They have the freshest meats and produce. You can't go wrong with their quick service hot bar that serves hot wings, birria, carnitas, chicken, plantains, tacos, burritos, ribs, rice and beans--all for an excellent price! We also love their bakery, their hot tamales, their variety of salsas, their cheese/sour cream deli, and their ceviche bar--SO FRESH! Did I forget to mention the handmade tortillas and chips? Always warm and always freshly prepared right there! We love to come here and pick up food for parties or dinners. The market itself is very clean and although usually busy, they have plenty of self check out counters so you can get in and out pretty quickly.”

“While I was looking at which pickles to get by the deli side, Amanda was so nice she asked if I needed help and my bf said do you guys have samples lol and she froze and said you know what we do have some I can get from the back but we told her no thank you and that it was very nice of her to Offer us a sample! We ended up getting one that she liked and yes the pickles were so good.. it's a busy week hint Thanksgiving is next week they had lots of sales going on... the store was nice and packed with so many things to buy.. the store was nice and clean bright once we checked out our cashier lady was also very helpful and nice .... We left and once we got home we noticed that we missed some items at the store couple cans of tomatoes soup and chili's.. my boyfriend ended up going back he took he's receipt and he said the lady of course remembered him and she was holding on to our cans at the register :)”

“I like this place. Yes, it's a little bit pricey but the quality is there and it's not packed like the market across the street. The produce is good quality and the hot foods they have is always a must when you're too lazy to cook. Always grab a hot soup or you will regret it. The place is always clean and their service is friendly. I wish they had an actual butcher - then they would be complete. Nice alcohol selection and things you can't find in other places.”
