Just needed to send in a fax to Wells Fargo credit card application department at a branch but was told this process requires a banker to add a WF fax cover.The funny thing is then, “they do not have a banker at this location!” So what kind of staff do they have exactly???

Their "system" was down just when I needed a cashier's check for the car dealership. It remained down the next day in this branch but presumably up in others (how is it possible in a major bank?). Call ahead of time if you don't want to be in a similar situation. Or better yet, move your money to other bank.

Today the Service Manager at this branch refused to fulfill my withdrawal request for $480 in $10 bills. He refused even though I have substantially more than $480 in my account. AND, he refused even after confirming that the funds were available in the branch. It was very confusing, but after repeated requests from me and repeated refusals by him I finally understood that giving me $480 in $10 bills would violate how much of the bank's cash they are allowed to give out each day. He wanted me (the customer) to understand his (the bank's) point of view, which appears to be - don't give out all the cash to customers because you might run out. I am not making this up or embellishing. It really happened. I wrangled with him for a while and finally left in disgust. Customers beware. There are ATMS here and that's great, but as for the branch office, honestly, why is WFB bothering to pay rent? The downtown Mountain View branch is very close by and guess what - yes! - they let me withdraw $480 in $10 bills.

The bankers here are so friendly. I personally love coin roll hunting and they are happy to see me/help me whenever I come in .

7/18/19 Met Alex at this Miramonte branch in Mountain View. He introduced me to Kevin who is the Mortgage Consultant. Alex mentioned that he is in charge of Heloc but he recommended I also speak to Kevin which I did. 7/20/19 It's Saturday today so I will give them till Monday to respond to my email and see if they can help me with my needs for a Jumbo Home Refi for a Primary Home in Los Altos and a Second Home in San Francisco. More update next week.

Went in to deposit a Check. No line, just one customer taken care of at the only opened window. 3 employs looking at one screen standing behind it and talking, one more sitting at a desk and standing up to walk around a few times. The customer at the windows takes a bit longer, chats with the teller. None of the 4 employees not busy with a customer came to help me. They may have been working ( and not merely talking, stretching their legs like it seemed) but one minute to take care of me and return to whatever they were doing would have not made a difference to them m, but it would have to me

Went in last weekend- closed two of my accounts which they talked me into opening over the years and they still tried to sell me on keeping open. I asked to have a new credit card sent, but they needed to send three in order get it almost right, but still didnt get it right..... I have had too many challenges with Wells Fargo over the last few weeks so I am taking my banking else where....
