We were on our way down the 101 and received an uncommon message from the car. Thankfully we were close by to Ponzini's Community Garage - they dropped everything to have a look and took care of us. By far the most pleasant garage experience and Tony and his team are experts/incredibly kind. Wish we were closer to this shop. Thank you, Community Garage!!

Cannot recommend this place enough! We had just embarked on a cross country move and got a pretty scary warning on our car. Tony took care of us and made sure our car was in good shape. They were so gracious with their time, true lifesavers! So grateful for people like this.

So far so good. Tony and his crew are very kind. I'd been having issues with my car for years and my Subaru servicer could not find the issue. Finally took it to Tony within minutes of test driving the car he found and diagnosed the issue. The crew drove me to a restaurant to wait while they worked on my car and picked me up when the car repair was completed.

My truck broke down and I had it towed to the shop. The crew took care of it, fixed it and did a service on my truck. I usually feel like I'm getting ripped off at a shop, but not here. Very helpful, knowledgeable and able to fix issues on a budget. Most likely one of the best experiences I've had at a shop for a long time. This will be my new go-to place.

I brought my 2013 Civic into PCG for ongoing brake noise issues I’ve been experiencing over the last 10 months after another local mechanic shop completed a full vehicle brake service of new rotors, drums, discs and shoes during the same time frame. The other shop neglected to test drive the car to identify the ongoing noise issue and instead inspected the brake system and said there was plenty of wear left on the discs and shoes and then blamed my braking for a groove worn into one of the drums. They resurfaced the drum but failed to address the underlying problem and claimed a rock entered the drum.PCG tech Spencer test drove the car and then did a full brake inspection. He identified a groove worn in the same drum and noted a high spot in the brake shoe causing the groove, and subsequent brake rattling and squealing. He sanded down the high spot on the shoe and reassembled the rear brake system. He didn’t speak poorly of the previous work or parts and noted that if the shoe developed a high spot again causing the noise issue he could find reputable brake shoes.PCG has been in business for decades for two simple reasons: customer relations, and competent accountable mechanics.Service: Auto brake repair

We got into a pretty bad accident in an unfamiliar city. We were startled and unsure of what needed to happen next. The moment Zeferino arrived to tow our car, he felt like a ray of sunshine. The first thing he asked was if our insurance had full coverage because he wanted to make sure we don't receive an unexpectedly large bill in the mail. He also patiently waited in extreme heat while I was on the phone with our insurance and helped me answer questions my insurance agent had. He expertly and quickly harnessed our car and took us back to the tow yard. During the ride, my anxious mind had so many questions but he answered each one to the best of his ability and with so much kindness. We are so grateful that he was patient and was looking out for us especially in these hard times. Thanks for all your help Zef!
