The lady that cut my hair cut it with a knife like a razor knife or so and she literally chop my hair and make it seems like she was a professional but she said she just arrived from Mexico and she doesn’t own a license but she offered to do hair color and she even shave my son and she didn’t clean her station or her tools she was in such a hurry trying to steal the customers from the rest of the ladies there that she chop my hair so bad and still said my hair was like that and she shave my sons beard with the same knife that she uses on me and she used the same knife for the next guy she said she’s a professional in Mexico but aren’t every single person working there supposed to have a license from California???? I was so mad and I said that she ruined my hair but she said she didn’t and she cause my son an infection on his face at the point he had to shave totally his beard now because is been hell and the worst part is that she attended so many people there with no license and the same tools that she didn’t clean and said that the owner like her so much because she’s making her a lot of money because she’s the one that work faster and get more customers as well as she’s the one putting more hours that the owner didn’t care if she doesn’t owned a license at all so no I won’t go back there and watch out for her she’s super nice an all her name is Betty and she works from 4 pm to close and on the weekends I know because she told me

UPDATE as of April 29th, 2023:This place STILL hasn’t changed. While I stopped coming here years ago, I will attest for my grandpa. He went in to get a haircut about a week ago. He usually likes to have shorter hair but not too short. I’d say maybe like a 3 at shortest. Whoever cut his hair gave him a 1 and asked him AFTER putting in the machine. Like what??? My grandpa went along with it as to not be rude. It genuinely feels like the people who work their just like to do whatever they want. Or they’re incredibly bad at it. Either way, I’m changing my review to one star. I suggest going elsewhere to cut your hair or be VERY demanding, step by step so your cut comes out the way YOU want it._______________Meh, this place is very hit or miss. Half of the staff is genuinely kind and make you feel comfortable while the other half makes you feel like you're not welcome. I've been here a quite a few times and sometimes they cut your hair like how you ask and sometimes they don't. If you get simple hair cuts like getting a shaved head or just basic guy haircuts, then this place is for you. But, if you need your hair cut only with scissors and what not... then go at your own risk. Some of the staff try to rush with the haircuts as well, at least with mine. Ironically enough, the wait times can be pretty abysmal. I've had to wait 45 minutes to an hour to get my hair cut. Mainly because they are understaffed often. Other times they are doing god knows what. However the price is decent, but I guess it proves the saying, you get what you pay for, at least in my experience.So in short:Pro:-Decent price for male haircuts-The staff can be very nice and welcoming (sometimes)Cons:-Potentially long wait times-Potentially moody/unwelcoming staff-Potentially bad haircut if you want it done in a specific way

I noticed that hair salon are more affordable then barbershop. I still don't get it. Cosmetologist are underrated and they do an outstanding job.

Ruby is the BEST hair dresser ever she does the best color, highlights, baliage she always does an amazing job! I drive 2hrs for her to do my hair. Definitely recommend Rubys hair salon.

There was a gentleman by the name of Juan who worked in the very back before the pandemic, every time I went there he nailed it! Just what I wanted. The environment was very live I looked forward to going in and having him take care of me after a rough few weeks of work! I don’t know if he is there still I hope so he was great I miss you Juan!!! Anyone who can clean up my mess is good. I'm not a barber or license to cut hair but I attempted to cut my grandsons hair and totally did a awful job. I didn't realize how hard trimming evenly or even giving a fade would be. Got my grandson in instantly on the weekend and they fixed it. Thanks my grandson was happy, and so was his Papa and Nana,

This place is open again hair Salon and eyebrows "Rubys Hair " There is one woman name Lilybeth First I thought that she was nice till the work she did on my hair. The worst one I paid 120 only for highlights on the top back no highlights at all And it came out terrible. She did not want to fix it because I couldn't make the day she said. She was rude on her answer, she did not let me explain why I couldn't make on that day. Not recommended her at all Bad service Overall Terrible experience on the Salon.

Every time I called said the phone was disconnected. I got there to ask who cut my son's hair a hairdresser there said she cut his hair I told her his hair cut is crooked she wanted to argue saying his Dad brought him & said it looked ok. Then went straight to my son said that my son said the haircut was ok. I said he's 11yrs old he doesn't know. Right off the start she wanted to pop an attitude I was calm. I think his name was George he fixed his haircut with no problem. Very unprofessional this lady. Place was dirty. I had to drive all the way from Hemet,CA to Moreno Valley, CA just to have his hair fixed. I could understand her having an attitude if I started with an attitude but I didn't have an attitude I was calm.
