Being a Chase customer for over 20 years. Could not cash out the check because the person that wrote the check a 90 years old lady enter 2023, 24 and forgot to put the month. I ask to call the issuer of the check, I could add the month. There is not personal service or any assistance. I and would also suggest to the old lady to close her account.I will get back to you next week on January 02...when Chase customer write a check to a Chase recipient (myself) and if the cashier has issue, she should ask for a supervisor and it is not the first time...I have to mail the check back, I will expect a call from our old lady to go over the issue...bottom line turn to be o "The Cost of our Time" you are either an asset or a liability to your customer.

10 stars. Chase is a Big Bank so it struggles to maintain that personal banking feeling that customers desire. One branch that is succeeding is the Alvarado St. branch in Monterey. You'd barely know it was there, as it is dwarfed by the Portola Hotel, and almost blends in with the adjacent parking garage. But don't overlook this strategically placed branch nor the helpful folks who work there. Pricilla and her boss the branch manager helped me out of a sticky situation. There is a genuine quality about these folks I think you will appreciate. I sure did. If you see Pricilla at the tellers window tell her the guy who brought her flowers to thank her for her exemplary customer service says "Hi".

Just started charging me for safe deposit box. I tried to cancel the box and they are charging me anyway. Service has gone way downhill. Branches closing. Slow ATMs. This is PACIFIC GROVE, CA branch. Good riddance!

I went to Chase bank on Alvardo St Monterey ca today. I business was to cash a check written from a Chase account. The process requires two forms of ID. I presented a US passport and a resident card issued from Mexico. The official resident card from Mexico included a photo, DOB and signature. Britttany, the teller, was unable to locate the card in her " system ". Her supervisor indicated the same. How does CA bank not reconize a card issue by the Mexican goverment. I call on my brothers and sister from Mexico. BOYCOTT CHASE BANK

ATM ate my cash, deposit didn't go through, nobody could help me other than calling the claims department which was also the only option I had on my own. Unhelpful and seemingly unconcerned that my cash was just kind of... gone!

I waited 20mins to open up a personal checking account. Then I was told everyone is busy and they're getting ready to call it a day. And asked if they can schedule me to come in another time...Too busy to careLooks like they forgot the meaning of customer service

The branch manager was very kind and helpful but Chris the first point of contact was arrogant, very dismissive and very rude. He should not be working in a financial institution where customer service is a priority. Please address his poor behavior immediately.
