No prices on the rings and prices for service are made up on the spot. We got there to get two of my diamond rings sized up - they just hammered it to the right size - very bad work. They charged $75 per ring but no receipt. The owner was also very pushy.

I was never been at Kim Phuoc Jewelry store in Monterey Park.So many negative feedbacks about their customer service. Make me think twice before I am going to shop there.

I asked them upfront , if I want to sell this what is the policy like . they told us just bird back the black book and the white paper then you are good to sell it . it will be 30% reduced from the original price! which they DID NOT tell you need to bring the (yellow recipe) in order to sell it . they are giving you a hard time without the yellow recipe. and they didn't tell you it will be 50% reduced from the original price if you paying card !!!! they didn't tell you that- scam you into open a credit card like that. I'll warn everyone about this place over the social media so everyone can avoid coming to this scam place!a gold shop flip as possible . salary, flipping, finding every nook and cranny to make money from customers. When I bought the ring, I asked if I wanted to sell what documents I needed. They said that just bringing the black book and the white paper is enough to sell. and they said if they sold they would buy at a loss of 30% , on the white paper also stated 30% . they said sweet words to lure us to open a credit card to buy, but didn't talk more about the disadvantages behind that, using this way to get more money from us. I sold the ring today, they made it difficult for me because I didn't have a yellow receipt. I needed a few of my jewelry pieces to be plated and I have been trying to find a place to do this forever. Just as a note, I would definitely make sure that the jeweler is there (give them a call beforehand). I think he is out on one of the days during the week. I called on Sunday and he was in, so I decided to go over and get my jewelry coated. There were 2 women working on the front and they gave me a quote (which I know was pretty reasonable as I had asked a few other jewelry stores). They were super patient about some of the questions I asked and best of all was not pushy at all about anything. In addition, they were super transparent which I really appreciated. The other thing that I thought was great was the jeweler was in-house. I actually went to talk to another chain jewelry store and they said that they would ship to the their Corporate store and then will give it make to me in a few days, which I did not want to do. They told me it would be ready in 30 minutes and they would give me a call. Kim Phuoc is located in a plaza with few restaurants, bakery, Daiso, etc. I picked up a boba, walked around a bit, and they gave me a call in about 30 minutes. It was painless and easy. Also, the plating looked amazing. I would definitely come back here again for any of my jewelry needs.

I was looking to purchase some jewelry and I decided to visit this store as I've always driven by it. The store was very clean/neat and the employees were very kind/helpful! They didn't rush or pressure me to make a purchase and was very patient with me browsing through several items. From the few stores that I had visited, this store offered really good prices and I would definitely come back. I was looking to get a gold necklace molded around my wooden pendant which has been with me since I was a baby. However, they kindly informed me that it could be damaged upon molding as they normally do molds for mainly diamonds. This showed me they really cared about their customers instead of trying to make a quick sale. I ended up buying a White Gold 18K ring and I am very happy with it!! I was also given delicious cookies and that was a nice icing on the cake as I have a sweet tooth! Lol Would highly recommend anyone in the area to stop by and take a look!

Honestly the only place I buy jewelry. Significantly better priced. They have a wider range of styles. I just needed a necklace chain replacement and got a sweet deal on it 18k white gold. I went to other places that were trying to push out the current trend from China which was diamond pattern chain links 14k and more than double the price to what I needed. I also got my engagement band custom made there at a great price again 18k white gold all tested. Honestly will always go back again.

While the location is nicely decorated, the people were incredibly rude. I came in with an old piece of jewelry that meant a lot to me to see if I could either get it cleaned up or have the chain replaced with silver since the piece was bought second hand. I was waiting around to get some help when the lady behind the counter barked at a jewelry cleaner to help me out. When I showed him the piece I needed help with, he became incredibly unhelpful and kept saying no to every service I asked him from cleaning to repairing and they essentially escorted me out of the premises. Just like people, you can decorate a pretty exterior but your classless and ugly behavior will always show through how you treat potential customers. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

the credit card and the money are clearly not my issue. i have no reason to lie what is done is done and most likely can be reviewed on the business cameras. the ring will be repaired. i did contact our jeweler who referred us to some business associates.thanks for the response.

Not friendly and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. The security guard spoke little to no English, and was hard to deal with just to come in the door. I'm going to drive to another jewelry store to buy the ring. Avoid this place!
