Picked up some online orders from here a few times and also returned some products. I had no issues at all and the workers here have been quick and friendly.

Very bad customer service, I was visiting LA and stopped at PETCO looking for human grade food for my service dog, becausemy dog only eats human food. The stor was empty, there were lots of employees even the store manager or supervisor was at the store, after asking several times finally one employee took the time to show me where was it. I was looking for a special brand, didn't find that brand but the one I bought was accepted by my dog and that's what matters. I'm giving it two (2) stars because the one near my house has a more friendly staff, also the ones I visited in Orlando Forida, their staff is more friendly and helpful, but that one in LA was not the case, I was tempted to leave the store and find another store, but traffic in LA is hectic and I didn't have much time, plus my dog was hungry because I couldn't feed her for a couple of hours before the three (3) hour flight. I believe that the corporate office really needs to train their staff in customer service skills, they lack from it big time, the store staffwasn'teven sure what is human grade food, and didn'tcare to ask a more experiencedemployee, a supervisoror, a manager. Next time I go to LA I will look for a local pet store rather than a Petco.

I found this cute little pet. Friendly service but it took for ever to get help. I bought a fish tank. The tag said $31.99. They charged me $79.99. They had 3 more in the same spot. The guy that helped me also said it was $31.99. Its a code violation.

I Love going here they got a great selection of stuff for ur pets. And if ur looking to adopt any cats would definitely recommend it, they have a good adoption program. Plus the litter I go get for my cats there is amazing.

I brought him in and I always pay extra to make he gets the hydrate and restore ! They rushed him ! And even admitted they didn't have time to fully dry him off ! Well he got a " hot spot " I told them he has dry skin and that's why I bring him in to get his skin restored and hydrated but since they rushed him he developed a hot spot ! Which is cause by moisture stuck in the skin so he licked at his Poor little hot spot until it became a bleeding gushy mess ! $300 vet bill not worth it ! DONT NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE ! They don't care about your animals

Lemme just say this will be a long one I've been shopping here for a while. And lemme just say stephanie the manager thinks she's the ruler of the petco. She legit doesn't know how to be nice, she only knows how to have a sour attitude and not help. Like I tried to return 3 things that came up to $60 all together... they didn't work I didn't like them for my fish tank they caused issues. But she gave me $20 for all of them, she also over charged me for the sand being sold in store. It was supposed to be $5 each but it was $10. Ah yes and let's add another thing to it. I recently bought fish from here (on Tuesday) and it died on Thursday. Like I don't know if it contaminated my tank, there's like 5 or 6 fish in it and now those might die because these people wanted to sell me sick fish. Like this is so sad for the poor fish I wanted to give it a good life and it didn't even get that chance. Like the tank was cycled and had no ammonia in it and this picture is proof of that. I've called and it seems like I'm not gonna get my money back for the fish and I have no receipt for it since I didn't expect the fish to die. Now I won't be getting my money back for it and my fish can die from an illness all because of this petco location. Go to El Montes location the manager there is such a sweetheart. I already know if I try to get my money back for the fish stephanie won't allow it since she's "an amazing manager" and she won't help at all.

Had a very unpleasant experience with an associate (Estefany) while shopping for a Chameleon and crickets today. At the counter I first tried to order 20 crickets and was told we could only order 10. We stood in line separately and paid for 10 crickets each. Estefany then told us that we would have to wait because her associates were helping other people which we mentioned was not a problem. After waiting aside for about 10 minutes a separate Associate came by and we asked if he can help get the crickets. He proceeded to go get them and instead Estefany left her register to go get them and only brought back 10. She then explained to us that she couldn't give us more than 10 because her animals in the store needed to eat and there was not enough to give us the additional 10 we already paid for. We voiced our concern regarding her unprofessional behavior towards us given that we had already paid for the crickets and she was now telling us they were unavailable since "her" animals needed to eat. I told her it was strange that we had just purchased a pet from the store and were now being restricted from buying him food since "her" animals in the store were apparently a priority over the one she just sold us. I asked to speak to a manager and she explained that she was the manager. Which was even more shocking since you would assume she would carry herself in a more professional manner and assist her customers for the sake of the business and wellbeing of customer pets. I will definitely be calling to discuss this situation with the corporate manager that she reports to. We usually always go to Petco for our pet needs and it is unfortunate that we will not be going back after this experience. I hope Estafany finds a job she enjoys soon for herself and for the future customers of this Petco. Not surprised the comment from a month earlier is regarding the rude employee with the "purple hair". At least I won't take it personal and just assume this is Estefany's trending personality

I toke my husky in for a standard bath and brush because her usual groomer was booked. During check in, they did an inspection of her current condition and said everything was looking good. She developed a bad ear infection and an inflamed laceration in between her paw AFTER her appointment. This costed me $300 in vet bill and my dog has to be on 2 different medications. Worst part was I called back to see what had happened and was told the manager will call me back. NO ONE EVER CALLED BACK; COMPLETE RADIO SILENCE. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR PETS SO PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE!!!!!

I went to the store on Saturday and I can’t believe how hot the store is,this is only the beginning , I’ve been in this store during the summer when it gets upto 120 and it’s like being inside a stove . I asked if the store can lower the temperature to make it cooler but the associate said they don’t control the thermostat. The store was clean and the associate Wendoline was very polite and gave excellent customer service .my main complaint is that Petco needs to get better air conditioning units throughout the store because it’s very uncomfortable to shop when u are sweating .
