1 star seems to be too generous. if you try to deliver large items, they will put it in their truck and tell you they cannot deliver it up the curb (even though they have a freight lift) and could have easily done so safely. Waste of time and money if you want to use their services.

the worst shipper they dont care. disbatch absolutely has not 1 care in the world about working with the customer to get their shipment. its only on their terms with no caring. block them

I work for a company that does millions of dollars' worth of freight every month, Oak Harbor Freight company is the worst company for freight i have ever dealt with. their customer service is rude and condescending and is incapable of doing anything

Do not use this company. I can’t stress enough how bad the customer service is here!! Trying to get them to deliver a package to the correct address is mind blowing. Then they try to pass the mistake to the customer. Horrible horrible customer service.

Their internal communications must be terrible at their company. I requested a pick up and was very clear about getting a liftgate & forklift as part of the pick up. Later that day, the driver shows up without a liftgate and says he will contact dispatch to get a liftgate out. No follow up happens and I call in to schedule it for the next day. The driver doesn't show up & I call in 3 times to get updates and each time the support person gives me a different answer. Day 2 finishes and there is still no pickup. I scheduled it for day 3. This time it passes the morning pickup time and I call in again and the support person tells me that they don't know why it was scheduled for a morning pickup and they don't do morning pickups. All in all, if I can avoid using them in the future, I will. They need to seriously work on passing information internally & making sure that their policies are set up across the board.

It's a regular stop for us. People there are nice. The yard feels a bit tight if you roll in with a truck that has a decent size sleeper. I don't have any complaints though.

If you are an outside driver (OTR)and have a deliver to this place, be ready to waste not less than five hours, Oak Harbor does not deserve an star, however employees are very nice.

I would have given it no stars if I had the option!!! I’ve been waiting for my order for 2 weeks while it’s just sitting at their wearhouse!! I’m very disappointed with this carrier!!!! I’d rather Pay a little more somewhere else and get my shipment on time!!!Also, They need to get rid of all their current workers for new ones!! These people don’t know a thing about customer service!!!!?

Super awesome shunt driver but zero room to drop trailers. Still well managed place, just hard for a truck with a sleeper to drop trailers.
