My mom has recently taken two of my favorite faux fur vests to universal cleaner to be dry cleaned. They ended up burning the faux fur and ruining both of them. Both are unwearable now. When my mom took back the jackets to talk to the owner, he first denied that they cleaned my vests. When my mom showed him the number tag that is still stapled to my vests, he just refused to talk to my mom any more. We've also had other regular dry clean items that came back with a bad smell. We are really disappointed by universal Cleaners' response and their attitude. I think at minimum an apology and acknowledgment is expected. And they really shouldn't have taken on items that they did not know how to clean and end up ruining my clothes.

DONT GO HERE...When I picked up my clothes the owner tells me all my items are there. I recount and tell her again I'm 4 items short and she continues to say all items are there. I have her recount and then all of a sudden she agrees and suddenly finds the missing items hanging right next to her. I get home and hang up my clothes. 3 days later when I get my pants to put on I see they are 2 sizes too small and not a brand I wear. I take the wrong pair of pants back to the cleaners in exchange for my pair of pants back and she said those are yours. I said I don't shop at that store and they are too small. She said ok... I ask her for my pair of pants back and she said "are you serious" ? She now claims she gave them to me as an extra item with my clothes although she counted them and does not have my pants. I left empty handed and she claims says she owes me nothing and it was an extra pair of pants. DONT GO HERE.. They overcharge, I have multiple iron lines instead of 1 crease on my shirts and pants and they MISPLACE your clothes...DONT GO HERE...DONT GO HERE...DONT GO HERE....

I should've read the reviews before coming to this place.. THE LADY IS A CROOK! I took my dress for my brothers wedding here to get altered & to take off 1 layer since it had 3... she says she even "pressed" it for me but I didn't see no difference.. on the day of pick up, the dress she gave me was the wrong one! She gave me someone else's dress 2 days before the wedding!! On the day of the wedding, the dress was still long(I had to pull my dress up every time I had to walk) & it still had the extra layer! She charged me $70! I asked for a refund & like every crook, she says she doesn't do refunds! SAVE YOUR MONEY & TIME!! DONT COME HERE!!!

The owner lady is very rude and evil. I wouldn't give them 1 star. I took my jeans and they ruined them and also made them into a different color. When i brought it up to her attention she got very loud and hostile and didn't even apologize. Stay away from this place!!!!!!

The owner of this business refuses to wear her mask. I asked her kindly on two separate occasions (drop off and pick up) to abide by public safety guidelines and her own store policy (there is a mask required sign in the shop), and she replied: (1) masks don't work, and (2) she is fine because she doesn't go anywhere. Wow, did she forget that she sees dozens of customers daily in the store? She doesn't need to go anywhere outside of the store to get infected and transmit the disease. It is sorely disappointing to see people who hurt the progress that has been made (and then complain that the economy is not recovering). She is a prime example of the reason why we are in this mess and why the economy has not rebounded.

My mother took her cardigan to Universal Cleaner to have it cleaned and unfortunately this is what it looks like when it came back. Granted it was not a brand new sweater and we never expected perfect results to begin with. We simply asked the lady if she could please try again or issue a discount/refund ( she was charged $9.00 for one sweater) Her response was very rude and quite insulting to my mother who doesn’t speak much English. Honestly it was quite shocking because this is a nice friendly neighborhood and most everybody is very respectful to one another. She simply doesn’t care about her customers at all. Needless to say we were disappointed and left, “God bless you” she spewed with a stone cold stare. I did noticed a few bibles on the counter, guess she should give them a study on her down time on how to love thy neighbors.

Very very poor customer service , especially the Owner's wife . Very very rude and talk loud . They have 2 dogs running around in the store .very disgusting. The receipt they give to me there is no their store information. Be careful they don't open the store according their post opening hours sign . Waste my time outside the store . I don't think they need the money . No one will ruining their own reputation like this .
