I was very impressed by their immediate action. I drive a Ram Promaster 2500 as my work vehicle (15ft long and 9ft tall). On a Friday morning, I pulled on to the road to start my day of work. Unfortunately, my vehicle was struggling to pick up speed beyond 40mph. I was aware of frequent puddles below my engine, but I had ignored it as long as I could... a big mistake on my part. When I called into Mission Viejo Transmission, they were willing to receive me immediately. Most placing can't work on my vehicle because of its size and excessive weight. I informed them of my issues and also communicated that I work 6 days a week and need it repaired as soon as possible, so that I don't disappoint my customers. Kevin and his crew didn't hesitate. They located two leaks, in my transmission and my coolant. They also did a full inspection of the vehicle, providing an oil change and replacing my back brakes, which I was aware were getting very thin. In order to have everything repaired and replaced by Monday morning before I started my day of work, Kevin put 4 mechanics on my vehicle over the weekend. I can't thank them enough for understanding the urgency of my situation and providing top notch customer service. Highly recommend if you need a professional crew of mechanics and expect high quality customer service.

There are very few places that will provide a service And when it's not right take the car back and charge yo No additional money's to make it right.I strongly recommend Mission Viejo transmission and auto repair for that reason!

I had a fantastic experience at Mission Viejo Transmission and Auto Repair with my recent car repair. I brought my car in for a transmission rebuilding a few weeks ago. Turns out I needed a new transmission as my current one was un-rebuild able. Kevin (the owner) and the team did a fast and wonderful job getting me back on the road for a more fair price than the Nissan dealership. A couple weeks later I needed brake repair in the front. The mechanic even took the time to show me the worn-out parts and explained why they needed to be replaced. The staff was incredibly friendly, explained the process in detail, and gave me a fair estimate upfront. My brakes now work perfectly, and the car runs smoother than ever. They finished the job quickly, and the final cost was exactly what they quoted. I highly recommend Mission Viejo Transmission and Auto Repair for anyone needing reliable car repairs. They’re not AllState but you’re in good hands.

I went there for transmission oil change and diagnostics and then a lot of advises later, I agreed for $700 bill for 5 things to get rid of 1. noise when I turn and 2. jerk when the car moves from stop sign. I came home with oil change as promised(hence 2 stars) but the two problems continue. They are capable but not trustworthy.

My Audi Q7 Diesel at 138000 miles started leaking Oil. I brought my car here and they did an EXCELLENT repair job and was really involved! Spent 5k, took approximately 3 weeks due shortages of parts during Covid but I am very happy even after 1 year and now 152000 miles.
My Audi drives like brand new after the repair job.

Every time I drive my car, I keep thinking that I need to write a review; so here we go. My car started making a clanging noise, so I decided to take it to Mission Viejo Transmission and Auto Repair. I didn’t take the time to check their reviews like I normally do. I chose Mission Viejo Transmission and Auto Repair because I used them in the past for an oil change- big difference I know. Once I dropped off my car, I received a call from the mechanic listing all kinds of things he said were wrong with my car. I should have known right then to get my car out of there. I did not have any other issues with my car other than the clanging noise. It ended up being my axle that was causing the noise. $4,000 later!!! Once I picked up my car, it sounded like a 4-wheel truck- which it’s not. The other problem I’m having, is that my car sounds like it’s in 3rd gear wanting to go into the 4th gear but can’t. I couldn’t take the loud noise any longer, so I took it back to Mission Viejo Transmission and Auto Repair to get it fixed- especially after spending $4,000. So instead of fixing the problem, they wanted to charge me $700 to fix something that didn’t need fixing- come to find out. I would definitely not recommend this place.

I went there after my daughter curbed her car and blew out 2 right tires. I knew the car needed an alignment at least, so I took it there because I had a Groupon. After inspecting the car they told me it needed both sides lower control arms, front struts, outer tie rod ends front sway bar links. There quote was $3000.00. I was immediately suspect. Why would I need left side repairs when the impact was on the right side. I pulled it out. I took it to a shop I had been using for years. They replace the right lower control arm. Total was $300 including another alignment.
Also, I has them do a synthetic oil change since I was there. They quoted $89.99. Just out of curiosity I called the dealer. They quoted me the same price. If you're going to be as expensive as the dealer why would I take my car there? At least I have a better chance that the dealer will be honest.
If you're thinking about taking your car here think again. Inflated prices and dishonest.

This is a great team of mechanics. All their work has been reliable. They've helped me out in a pinch an hour before closing on the day before Thanksgiving to get me back on the road quickly. Logan, the general manager, always gives me great advice and service at a fair price. He'll even tell me if a service is unnecessary to save me money. Now that's honesty! The owner Kevin has personally helped me find a reliable car. I like this shop and am a long-term customer.

Not what I was expecting the place was Hella small, no waiting room. Kinda awkward vibes but mostly staff tried to be kind to us. They did focus a lil to much on the "fine print " for their promos which I thought was kinda sneaky also but they still honored my deal and changed my transmission fluid... got a free inspection with a quote for around 6900$ ? I only paid 3800 for my mitsubishi lancer but thanks ? it came in handy and now it where to start with my car repairs

These folks are the best! I was having trouble starting my van. Kevin and (Marcus?) looked at it right away and quickly determined that the bolt to my new battery (installed elsewhere) was stripped, resulting in an intermittent connection. It wouldn't require an expensive repair, as I had assumed. They replaced the bolt at no charge and added air to my tires as an added bonus. The woman at the front desk was amazing as well. She had a soothing manner which was very much appreciated as I get quite stressed whenever the Silver Bullet isn't operating at a top quality level. Thanks, guys!

I was needing my tire checked out because it would slowly loose air. Called around and everywhere I was checking had an hour plus long wait just to check what was going on, plus was fairly overpriced from what I was reading and looking my up online. I called these guys, and they got me in within minutes, fixed a leak they found, and then sent me on my way. It was fast, customer service was awesome, they didn't try to upsell me on anything, just wanted to get me on the road happily. Definitely recommend coming, if you need something checked out or done. Jose was awesome, super nice, got the job done very fast.

I have been bringing my vehicles here for service for 10+ years; i have witnessed the steady expansion of services, and their growth. I have always been treated with respect. The Owner Kevin, hosts Girl in The Garage on Hallmark, and he nor his Technicians take advantage of their female clients; they will give you the list of items which should be addressed, and give you a recommended or approximate time line of priorities ... so you can see what you can afford at the time without damaging the next ticket item. They also have loaner vehicles, should you need one. I will always highly recommend Mission Viejo Transmission.

We were visiting relatives in Mission Viejo and had a Groupon offer for transmission oil and filter change. It was a good deal compared to Honda of the Desert. Half price. So we call and make an appointment and informed them we have a Plugin Hybrid EV. Not a problem. We arrived and about an hour later we were told, "oops they didn't have the proper equipment.". Wasted an afternoon and we had to drive back to the Desert in rush hour traffic. Thankfully, Groupon refunded the money immediately. The people were pleasant but they demonstrate the ineptness too often found in these locals. Customer service should be a matter of pride.

The second time they’ve saved me! I was driving up from San Diego and the trans was slipping. I called at 4:30 when I was 40’min away and asked if they could check it out. Without heisting they said yes. Not only did they find the simple problem and fix it, they checked out the rest of the car for me. After 5pm on a Friday. These guys are the best! Fair and honest!
