My car died while driving. I called Geoff and let him know and he said I could bring it in at any time. Geoff diagnosed my car and let me know how to get it running. I approved the work on my car and now it’s running.

Just wow! If you're looking for honest, professional auto repair in Mission Viejo, look no further than Mesman Motors. Geoff and Chris are the real deal - automotive professionals who actually care about their customers' safety and satisfaction.
My wife and I recently purchased a private party used Lexus SC 300 2-door for our college-age son (he had to have it...). While the car looked good on the surface, appearances can be deceiving.

Mesman Motors took the time yo see if they could figure out what the noise was in my 2008 Honda Accord. They took figured out it was most likely the battery they said that we could replace that ourselves.

Geoff and the team at Mesman Motors did a great job repairing the A/C on my 2012 Camry Hybrid. It was an extensive repair including replacement of the evaporator core which had been leaking. They handled the job with professionalism and good communication throughout the process.

Brought my 2014 Honda Odyssey for 60K mile service and other repair the week of 7/29. Made an appointment earlier in the month when it was convenient for me to bring my vehicle for service. The other repair was for oil pump gasket and seal which were leaking. Due to the age of the car, I decided to also replace the timing belt and water pump with gasket. The entire process from start to finish was very smooth. Geoff and Gus are expert mechanics. They work on your vehicles like it's their own. I fully trust them both to always be upfront and honest with me. So happy with their workmanship and quality. I highly recommend this place all the time to all my friends. My previous vehicle was a 1999 Lexus which they worked on a long time ago. That car was given away to a family member.

I highly recommend Geoff and his team! Also, it definitely helps that Gus is always prompt in answering the phone and being so personable just like the owner Geoff. Picked up my car and literally spent an extra 40min just chatting it up with his crew!
I’ve had some bad experiences with car mechanics that I was really taking a chance on Mesmen motors, and boy was I absolutely GLAD that I went with them. I own a 2010 Toyota Yaris that has seen better days and they were able to do the job needed to get it up and running again without upselling me on anything. Geoff even gave me advice on what to do next should I choose to do the other “easier jobs” with my husband.
What I love about Mesmen motors is they fully diagnose your car and they show you pictures of what the condition of said part on your car looks like that needs to be repaired before they start doing the repairs. You have full autonomy on what you want to get fixed without being pressured to fix other things you may not have the budget for. BONUS, They reprogrammed my key for free (I thought I lost my key, got a locksmith, and now that key doesn’t work because it needed reprogramming which Mesmen motors did for me!) The communication between Gus and Geoff via text, email, and phone call was EXCELLENT! I knew what was happening at all times and they were super efficient. Left my car on a Tuesday afternoon picked it up Thursday afternoon (which I think is an amazing timeline considering the state of my almost falling apart car) but hey it’s a Toyota, it’ll last forever ha! The cherry on top was them offering to give me a ride to their shop because I told them I didn’t have transportation. Now I will say I live extremely close to the shop so I understand why the free pick up was offered, but still, what kind of auto shop does that if it’s not a dealership? Well, Geoff and his team does!
Anyways, if you are looking for a family owned, honest, efficient, and professional auto shop, I highly recommend Mesmen motors! You won’t be disappointed! Thank you Geoff and your team, I truly appreciate it!

I took my car into Mesman regarding an oil leak and slightly rough running engine. Geoff, the owner, offered to check it out and give me his recommendations along with an inspection report. However, I was surprised that Geoff actually came to the waiting room to ask me more questions to investigate the issues. Low an behold, Geoff discovered the Honda Dealership's valve service performed 2 months early was the cause of the oil leak and rough running engine. Further, his team noticed the timing belt caps near the belt were wearing due to improper replacement of caps. Geoff immediately recommended I take it back to Honda dealership and have them inspect the car. At first Honda wanted me to drop off the car and claimed highly unlikely damage issue. However, after providing Honda with the Mesman information, the dealership did step up and do the absolutely right thing which was to fix the car. All in all, Geoff saved me from spending significant money on repairs and educated me on Honda maintenance.
