I am devastated to hear of Linh’s passing. She was incredibly talented, every single thing she altered for me was to perfection. Not only that, she was hilarious and such a joy to chat with and be around! I was planning to head over for a couple alternations and ran across this sad news. Praying for her family during this difficult time, sending so much love. Thank you Linh for taking care of the Milpitas community! You Weill be soooo missed !

I went to Linh less than two months prior to my wedding based on a friend recommendation and the rave reviews online, and luckily she still accepted my order despite the timeline. My gown had 5-6 layers and her work deserved the price she charged. I went back for a fitting 3 weeks later and she made final adjustments to it, also adding a bustle. My dress was done to perfection earlier than promised, and it fit like a glove. Linh was a kind, talented woman. Very sadly, Elegant Tailoring recently announced Linh’s passing on their website. Her dad (a master tailor who taught her to sew when she was little and opened their shops originally) is still there and is accepting alteration work. Although I have not had him alter for me, I have no doubt that he too is very careful and talented in his work. Please be kind and patient with him in case you are trying to contact him instead of Linh these days.

Lihn did an amazing job tailoring my wedding dress. My dress initially had a deep v-neck cut neckline that I wanted to cover to make the dress a bit more modest. Lihn expertly created a modesty panel that addressed my concerns while still maintaining the beauty of the dress. Lihn also created a simple bustle for my dress that was easy to learn and teach others. Her rates were completely reasonable and worth her hard work. My gown looked absolutely beautiful on our wedding day and I received so many compliments. If you're looking for an expert seamstress, Lihn is the real deal.

Linh is amazing! She helped me with my wedding gown’s alteration. Added a bustle as well as adding off shoulder straps he work fits me perfectly and she’s so professional. Highly recommend

Linh's hands are God's work!! She turned a dress that I got for $90 looking into a dress from a fairytale. I came in to her shop with such low expectations that my dress can even have anything done to it to make it look a little better but Linh had many ideas and I showed her some inspo of what I was hoping it'd look like. I left the store with just a small glimmer of hope that it would look better by the next time I came back. Linh texted me that I needed to come in for my next fitting and I seriously was SO happy. I couldn't believe that that was the same dress I came in with originally! She is a true miracle worker. Every fitting after that just got better and better. She adjusted to my liking each time. I cannot thank her enough for the job she did on my dress!! She also did my husbands suit and he couldn't believe that she tailored it to fit him EXACTLY perfect. She knows what she's doing and what she's talking about! Linh, you're amazing!!

Linh is simply amazing. She is an expert in her trade and I will never go to another tailor for my clothing. Not only did she work on my two bridal gowns, she adjusted my husbands suit for our wedding and my mother’s dresses for the wedding too. My first gown was not an easy one to fix because I found it 3 months after I had my son, so the fit was all off when I lost baby weight. She basically remade the dress and did a stunning job. It fit perfectly come my wedding day. I have heard horror stories about bustles for wedding gowns giving out of breaking due to the weight of the train being too much for the loops. Not only did the bustle that Linh sewed on my dress not break, it withheld several hours of dancing, jumping around, photo shoots, and tear down. I can’t say enough about how awesome Linh is and how fair her pricing is. If you have any type of tailoring she will make sure that you’re well taken care of!

Linh is absolutely AMAZING. Let me repeat that, LINH is amazing! Linh is not only honest and fair and a true professional at her craft, but she has made me feel like family during every step of the process with my wedding dress. Any time I wanted something tweaked, linh listened and executed. She was patient with me and her years of experience showed in the work that she did. There are no words to describe how happy I am with Linh and her shop. It is rare that I find such quality and pride in someone's work nowadays and Linh deserves al if the recognition and MORE. I was quoted DOUBLE the price with a shop in Campbell that was highly recommended, to do LESS work than linh did. I've already sent family to her and had my fiancée and all of his groomsmen come here for their tuxes. Linh is now part of the family, if you go anywhere else, it's seriously the worst mistake you'll make throughout your wedding/ or any alterations process. Do yourself a favor and just call linh if you need any alterations, wedding or others!

Very fast and the owner is very nice!Will not make your pocket run out.Takes a day or two to get your stuff ready!In addition, she has a very good sense of humor, and a beautiful pet dog!

Not really the one to give negative reviews but the shop lady was unnecessarily rude when we came in the shop for a quote. Like do you want business or not?Edit: I see the owner replied that we wanted it to be done soon. She is lying, hilarious she never asked about timeline because we were never in a rush but spoke over us and assumed we wanted it soon and not to mention her trying to be-litte by passing remarks like "oh you must have gotten this dress overseas, cuz of all the wrinkles" when we got it from America. Like I said unnecessarily rude (Check reviews other 1 star reviews on yelp and here & this seems like a thing of hers)And even if she would have offered us the price we would not do it cuz of her attitudeWill do a follow up update soon to let you all know the other great business where we got our dress cut & for a good price. (Not sharing the new business name until we get our dress back to be fair in review)

I have been going here to get my slacks, paints, jeans or anything since I was young. She is awesome I was even able to get my wife to have her wedding dress tailored with Linh and her other friend had major work on her wedding dress and they both came out looking amazing. Linh does a great job, her customer service goes above and beyond. She is not just a tailor but someone I trust for all my tailoring needs. I would recommend 100% her all the time.
