The pharmacy here is unhelpful. Tried calling 4 times to inquire if they have the current Covid vaccine as their website doesn't make that info available. The option to talk to a staff member only goes to a recording and if you leave a message you won't get called back. On a fluke I actually got to talk to someone who said their supplies are limited so they aren't announcing the availability. Good luck trying to get an appt online. There are 4 pages of info required and after supplying all that I got a message saying the appt was no longer available. I'll gladly go somewhere else next year for my pharmacy needs.

I like this Safeway, it's big and brightly lit and has great variety. They used to have plant-based spaghetti at the Ready to Eat section. They haven't in a while. I wish they did for us vegan, vegetarian, and pescatarian folks. No complaints, just a request - please carry plant-based spaghetti again.

Tried their DriveUp and Go service. Horrible. They say to call them when you arrive. So I called and no one answered. And I called. And their voice mail box was not set up. And I called. 15 minutes later I am still sitting in the car calling every minute or 2 and still could not find anyone to answer.

Had to use the washroom! It was/is disgusting. Portapottys and cleaner. Please make it a necessity to keep them useable. Grocery stores should show good bio-security. Someone in the store should be accountable. May 19-2023.

Ordered a Mystical Mermaid birthday cake, when we pick it up they give us a Frozen themed one and the manager was crazy rude. Never coming back here.

Frustrating, disorganized, often rude/unhelpful workers who are probably overburdened. My experience echoes pretty much all the other low reviews.

Safeway doesn't honor the deals and rewards it promises. The last two times I redeemed awards for free products (using the club card associated with my account) in this store, they charged me for the products anyway. When I scan the barcode on the shelf tag for an advertised in-store deal using the Safeway app, the scan returns other deals, but never the one advertised. Can't get the deal price. I'm tired of complaining to Albertson's (parent company) customer service in Phoenix. They're ripping off customers and need to be held accountable.Reply to manager:Have tried "Contact Us" many times. Often don't get a reply. When I finally did get an email back recently requesting info I'd already submitted, it said "you can reply to this email," but when I did that, it bounced. I finally mailed a letter to the customer service address in Phoenix with my receipt and details on the deals not credited. No response. I'm done wasting my time. Safeway's failures to honor its advertised deals & rewards used to be rare; now they happen every shopping trip. Am alerting the FTC and CA Attorney General. Time for Albertsons/Safeway to start paying some million-dollar fines.

Service was excellent. They give away boxes. Great for carting things to good will. They also have potato chips.

I have no idea why these boneheads freeze their apple pies smh. I literally have to buy it a day in advance and let it thaw for 24 hours. There is absolutely no reason to keep it locked up in the freezer. I get the same pie at Ralphs and other grocery stores and they are not sitting in the freezer and ready to serve. For some reason Safeway puts them in their freezer which makes no sense as other grocery stores don't do this for the same exact pie

The current staff seems to have given up on basic functionality of their job. My regular mail prescriptions have stopped arriving, and often some are not properly filled at all. I basically have to call in every month just to get things that should be automatic. Staff there has told me they are too overworked to keep up. This only became a problem with this year's staffing cycles. I have transferred elsewhere.

I want to preface this by saying I am not one to exaggerate or post reviews out of spite or anger. The poor service and unreliability of this pharmacy over the past 2 years has been appalling. On numerous occasions, I have been told that my script was filled and then showed up to find out that there was some issue that prevented them from completing this. Reaching them by phone is a nightmare, requiring multiple calls to reach a real person after being put on hold numerous times. If you have a controlled script, be prepared to wait for an additional 5-15 minutes, as they recently started a process of making you wait for them to open the safe. I dread interacting with one staff member who has repeatedly made rude remarks (everyone else is professional and kind, hence an extra star).

If i could give 0 stars i would. I am changing Pharmacies the Pharmacy technician the blonde woman is extremely rude condescending and not very helpful. Remember most people are at the pharmacy because there's something wrong with them and so a little compassion goes along way I will now do all my pharmacy services at a CVS no excuse for her rudeness. I even tried to say have a little compassion but instead she rudely commented on a crying child. So mean!! Most moms love when they have a screaming baby in a market at dinner time. Looking at other reviews it seems as if this blonde pharmacy tech always has an attitude. Ive now do all my meds at cvs in Menlo Park
