I’m personally in the lumber and hardware business as an outside sales person in the industry. Regardless of what, I have always used local True Hardware and Ace Hardware locations for quick need personal needs. Visiting this location in Menifee, I have had several negative experiences. I stood in line for several minutes while the person ahead of me and the sales counter person where discussing where to go to get the best local tattoo. Another visit to the same location, I asked an associate for a location of an item and was treated as if I was interrupting his stocking duties.

Great experience with Jaime . I had an issue with a return . Most employees nowadays seem to do whatever it takes to not help a customer. Not here , she was glad to help out and with a smile while doing it .Many employees should take note, this is what it takes to keep a business running smoothly with repeat customers.Great job and thank you again Jaime !!

As soon as i walked into the store i was greeted and asked if i needed help with finding anything. I had some keys made and was in and out fast. Great customer service.

I've been in this store several times in the last year to buy cabinet paint. Every time has been a pleasant experience-happy, cheerful employees & great customer service. However, things were very different today. I bought paint in the am and then returned in the afternoon because the color was wrong. From the minute I walked in I could feel something was "off" . The clerk was worried about having to exchange the paint because her boss would be upset. She was really worried about the error and the cost. As she was mixing the new for me and trying to make sure she had the right formula, a man I hadn't seen before came into the paint area. His attitude was condescending to both me and to her. She looked visibly afraid of him. I could see that in her face and I was concerned. So as I was leaving I asked who he was. I was told he was the owner Andy-So Andy this is for you : your employees shouldn't cower in your presence. You shouldn't lecture your customers. You shouldn't discipline your staff in front of anyone.( I heard you chide her about her cell phone being on the desk) . Your store manager Gary is a very nice man, and when you aren't there it's a great place to shop and it looks like a great place to work... But it's not that way when you are there. I could have cut the atmosphere with a knife. So I won't shop in your store anymore if you are there. I can't imagine working for you.

I've been here many times and they always have the things I'm looking for. The staff is very friendly and super knowledgeable. Unlike the young flunkies at the big box store.
