“I recently had a delightful experience at Carol’s Market, thanks to a Groupon that made it a great value. The quality of the food, especially the smoky bacon and thinly sliced, tender tri-tip, exceeded my expectations. I appreciate their flexibility in crafting a delicious carb-free breakfast bowl for me. While I wish the eggs weren’t precooked, considering the apparent lack of a visible kitchen, it makes sense. Despite this minor drawback, I plan on returning to Carol’s Market for its fantastic offerings and overall positive dining experience. A solid four stars.”

“This place is worth raving about. The owner literally gave me a full on pep talk as I was grabbing gas before nervously heading on my way to meet my boyfriends parents for the first time. You can tell he genuinely cares about the lives of his patrons. He had a sweet doggie resting with him in the store as well. I love the vintage gas pumps, that is too cool. You never see stuff like that anymore and they've been so well taken care of. It looked like there was almost a diner of sorts inside in addition to the quick mart but I did not stay to check it out. This seems like a real staple of Clipper Gap and definitely more than just a gas station, but a true part of the community.”

“You must stop at this place if you are in the area! I always heard about this place as a kid and forgot how good it was. Their pie are to die for and worth the 30 price point. I love the Dutch apple pie and would get it again if I went back. I also tried the berry pie and that was good too but was pretty sweet. I love how this place has hot foods and frozen food that is available as well as fresh groceries. If you're looking for a place to stop definitely think about coming here if you can. The food will not dissapoint.”

“Having been shopping here for the last 6 years, I previously shopped here only when it wasn't convenient to travel to Bel Air in Auburn. Last week, I stopped at Bel Air and did some shopping but Bel Air was out of a couple items so I stopped at Holiday to finish up the shopping. While in Holiday, I decided to do some price comparisons and was shocked. The prices at Holiday were ALL lower than Bel Air by a significant margin. I've changed my shopping pattern and now stop at Holiday first and only other stores if there's something that Holiday doesn't carry or is out of stock.”

She is very knowledgeable and friendly.The atmosphere she is creating here is fantastic and her passion for bringing community together is very attractive.This is a great gathering place. “This is where the big $20 million Set For Life scratcher was sold. And this is where I get my craft beer. Foothill Market stocks: Liquid Gravity, Sudwerk, Revision, Crooked Lane, Big Sexy, Altamont, New Glory, Bullmastiff, Tower, Black Plague, Dust Bowl, Pliny, ect... The best feature of this store is, you can buy a single beer or receive a 5% discount on a mix and match four pack. I would recommend checking the dates on the craft beer before you purchase them. “The store smells like some weird chemical when you walk in and I have noticed some of their produce has that smell and tastes weird, one had a bitter taste that I couldn’t wash off. Mostly the apple and the pears I tried. Maybe it’s some weird wax they put on their produce. All their apples I’ve tried have been mealy and taste old. Otherwise the store seems fine.”

“Stop for gas as it was on our side of the street. Gas was lowest CASH price at this intersection. Can accommodate 4 cars for gas. Being a weekend it was VERY busy. Little chaotic, but not dangerous. Hubs said you have to peek in the store. First thing I noticed they had a restroom. Got the key easily. Clean bathroom. The mini mart is amazingly packed with all the things a road trip or quick stop on one's way home needs. All the fancy drinks. Lots of alcohol choices. Snacks! Large frisbee assortment. What?! Is there frisbee golf near by?”

The store was really busy, but the checkers are fast and efficient and whittled the lines down really fast. “I am writing this Yelp because after a bad Deli sandwich experience about 1 month ago, I thought I would give the Deli department another try. Today I went into the store and stopped at the Deli Sandwich Bar. I was promptly greeted by Jonathan who had a smile on his voice and a friendly greeting. OK, that's the way to start off. I ordered a large sandwich and he made me a beautiful sandwich. By that, I mean he thought about the sandwich as he made it. The spread covered the entire surface of the bread, the meat was laid out so it was on the bread and not spilling off the sides, the cheese was applied with equal precision so it covered the bread and meat. I asked if he would microwave the bacon so it was crisp and he said, "of course". He toasted the entire sandwich, cut it in half, wrapped it and it was perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite of the sandwich. Jonathan was a pleasure to deal with. Thanks Jonathan for a great sandwich- you obviously take pride in your work and it shows. “It's a funky, little store, but I like it. I used to take my Papa here every week. The proprietor always remembered him and what he bought. He always kept Papa's items in stock.My Papa passed away on December 20th, 2021. The owner still remembers me. I appreciate how he takes care of his customers.I don't give it 5 stars because it isn't the nicest, cleanest store. It's a blender out there! I always lock my car to when going in for a quick trip.”

“I've come here a few times but this review is for the latest visit. This is a cute store. The aisles are clean, things are easy to find and the prices are good too. We were able to get in and out pretty quickly. I think the self-checkout is new from the last time I was here but it was helpful when the lines were a bit long.
