I'm currently homeless, been motel hopping since December 20th. I was told after informingthem of the referral sent to them by the life building center that someone would call ne around noon today. NOBODY called, called them before closing time to try to get ahold of someone and after my call being transferred to the right person was met by an answering machine because they had already left. As of tomorrow, my family of five and I have NOWHERE to go. Hsp has been dragging their feet and my worker doesn't know a damn thing outside hsp, needless to say I'm stressed af and would appreciate it if people would be professional and stick to their word.

My daughter joined the program because she was homeless. Now she is in a nice apartment with their help. They did good by her . Just don't park your car down the hill over night. There are ruthless theives lurking at night , wanting to steal cars & break into them. Keep your car up the hill over night.

Im not sure if you have heard about the salvation army famly crisis center yuba and sutter counties. But here is the skinny folks. The salvaition army is now the new ground zero for corona virus, and its spread. Currently the army has 52 residence of those 52 there are over 20 confermed cases and two staff members. In just under one weeks time the facility is scrambling to contain the virus.. But do largly to the poor response, and the inability to follow proper quarantine guide lines set by the health department. They have found themselves in crisis. The facility allowed exposed residence pending covid testing resuls to continue to roam the facility and not warning other residence of the potential health risk that they imposed. Proper quarantined giudelines where not implemented???, and put all residence through unnecessary exposure to the virus. Only one of a family of four was quarantined and not the family as a unit pending the results. Also with no warning to other residence about the exposed family other members used bathing facilities right after the couple unaware of the health risk of posible covid infection . Again exposing residence unnecessarily to the virus. The salvation army and the health department ordered mandatory tests for the remaining residence. Im happy to report that i and my family were all negative. The army has again one more time exposed those who had negative covid tests buy making covid free members uproot from the safty of there virus free rooms and moving them into other rooms witch had housed possitive members of covid19 . Putting unsick where the sick was all in an attempt to stop the spread, and limit the infected to one area of the facility in all there panic to figure it out they made it worse. And put all 52 residence of the facility in un nessasary danger..

I went into the program September 17th 2017 I walked out December 29th 2017 the program does help people who are homeless struggling with addiction and unable to establish a livelihood in the community there are several staff members that I love I was discriminated against I was bullied my life was threatened I had hate slurs thrown at me verbally. One of the clients that got kicked out smashed my back window in my car and stole my mother's ashes!!!!!!!!!!!! and all of my clothes my baby's clothes my computer and I had my car parked across the street from the depot!! I was told by the captain Julius and by staff that I was not allowed to use my menstrual cup for my menstrual flow And that I had to use pads or tampons wrap them in toilet paper but them it in the garbage bag and then put them in a clear plastic bag and walk all the way to the dumpster every single time I had a menstrual flow and throw it away!! all because other women in the Depo were gossiping about my medical condition that they had no right to do!!! The meals of the day where served at certain times if you're not in line within 5 minutes the food goes to the other people and I couldn't even get lunch for me and my two-year-old daughter because other people are having seconds and I showed up 5 minutes latewhen you sat in the office and the cameras were facing you it didn't matter because someone could come in and yell right into your face and the staff wouldn't do anything that's exactly what happened to mePeople were faking their drug tests and blaming it on other people in the depot. a bunch of unnecessary drama like the kitchen worker stealing a 3 lb bag of Haribo Gummy Bears Or me buying coffee creamer and putting my name on it and yet everyone walks into the kitchen and tries to take my creamer!! trying to get on Marinol because medical cannabis isn't allowed in the program because it's considered a drug yet the captains have a problem with it asking me "why are you here??" Someone stole my dead mother's gold necklace with her Crystal on itThe cops got called several times and other clients who were threatening other clients. All kinds of b******* drama!! people would talk about my medical condition behind my back making death threats to my facewhen I went to a friend's graduation from the depot Captain Julius gave me a dirty look during the ceremony didn't appreciate that!!!Giving a shout out to the staff that was really good to me (Steve Steve 2 all the girls on the night shift that I would talk to Lisa) thank you ladies and gentlemen I really appreciate the respect and love!!
