This shop supports local youth by working with the One Stop in Yuba County. Adrian is a great mentor. His shop staff provides direct, sincere, detailed training. I took my Volkswagen there as well, and the students alongside Adrian got my check engine light to turn off after a being on for months and spending 3 months in another shop. Very reasonable, very honest, great experiences every time I walk in!

I brought my Honda CRV 2004 in. It has a bit over 100k miles and has only really had minor maintenance like oil changes. It was having some vibrations at low RPM and I knew it really just needed a good inspection after all this time. I had my suspicions of what would be wrong but just don't have the time or patience to do the maintenance myself. I almost got scared off from here from that one star review, but it seems a bit suspicious and all the others were very good so I gave them a chance. I dropped it off for inspection, requested pictures of anything they found and waited. I had dropped it off in the afternoon so I got a call back the next day. They found deteriorating motor mounts, break system was a bit worn out and warped as well as it really just need a tune up, so new spark plugs and coil boots, all the filters etc. They also found the power stearing, bastically on it's last leggs filled with metal fragments. I need this to make it safley for a road trip to texas. The vehicle is only worth about 5k, but we really like it. It was about 3k to fix everything. Keep in mind, I looked up every part that was going to be changed and found it's online equivalent with what they wanted to charge me. With resonable labor costs, everything was fair and above board. During the maintenance they did find one more thing, a torn air intake and a compromized control solenoid, the added cost for that was minor. It took them 4 work days to do all the work. I ran the car through it's paces, was unable to get any vibrations, the engine did run smoother and breaks were perfect. I feel like I can get another 100k out of a car we love. I highly recommend this shop and am glad I gave them the chance. While we will be using this car to move to texas, if I was sticking around I would for sure, be using them for all my future automotive needs. Thanks guys.

AVOID THIS PLACE…… this place had my vehicle for months feeding me lies and empty promises. Thousands of dollars later they claimed to fix my vehicle I was having the same problem. I took it another mechanic. THE PARTS WERE 20 YEARS OLD FROM THE FACTORY….. they never replaced anything and charged me for it SCAM SCAM SCAM. Because i paid before the claimed repairs were completed 9 months . I have no luck getting my money back from the bank . They are scam artists. People are scared to leave them negative reviews because they have lots of other people cars that have been sitting longer then my car. DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE CHOOSING THIS SHOP.

Moving up here from the Bay, I was in uncharted waters when it came to a good auto shop to work on my vehicle. Up until this point, if I needed service or a repair I’d drive back to the Bay. On a recommendation, I decided to book an appointment to have my A/C serviced. Being that this was my first time visiting Frankenstein Motors for repairs and on a recommendation, I was very pleased with the customer service and when I walked in, the first person that saw me, greeted me with a huge good morning. I walked in to the office and was greeted by a gentleman and a lady, both friendly. I told them who I was and that I was there to have my A/C repaired. The gentleman took my keys, explained everything that would be done, with an estimated time of completion and off I went. About 2 hours later, I got a call that my car was finished. Here we are about two weeks later and my A/C is still pumping out cold air. Thanks to Frankenstein Motors and their friendly and professional staff. I’ll be back. Oh and you can book your appointments via text message once you visit their FB page and get everything set up by answering a few questions. I love that feature.

Great staff and fair pricing! Called so many places to find somebody to do an alignment on my old Mercedes with no luck until I called Frankenstein motors. They got me in the next morning to care of my car and got it aligned even after big o tires had told me my car couldn’t be aligned properly. Frankenstein motors is a great shop they got me in and out in no time and even helped me find tires that I could afford. Will definitely be going back and highly recommend them!!

I was updated on every step and transaction needed to continue with the repair of my wife's Mini. First time I've experienced this level of transparency and detail DURING the repair. Highly recommend and I will be going back for any additional service.

Very bad service. Had my car for 3 years and still not repaired had to get it towed to another mechanic. Was treated terribly and lies after lies . Totally disgusted , feel like I was taken advantage of expecially my patience . Don't recommend him to anyone

Any time we needed work done it was always fast an efficient and perfect every time . The people in the shop are always kind and helpful as well as hard working and knowledgeable in what they do . Great shop and great people!

Man I was excited about this place and have been following them on Facebook for sometime now, but today rubbes me wrong way and just lost my business as a customer. There secretary is in a fog or something I called them to have my wifes car brought there for diagnosis under a insurance claim and the secretary I spoke with seemed very under qualified to answer any of my questions and seemed to have no knowledge about how to handle a insurance claims mechanical repairs.

I needed a new mechanic and heard good things about Frankenstein Motors. They did not disappoint! From start to finish, they were friendly, helpful, and fun! I told them my circumstances and the parameters I was looking for, and they gave me recommendations that fit those parameters perfectly. They picked up my car from my house and dropped it off when it was finished and sent me a link to pay online, very convenient. The owner is extremely personable and fun to talk to, brought up the engine part on a big screen monitor and explained to me exactly what was going on. All the staff members I interacted with were gracious and helpful. I feel like this company has great integrity and will definitely be entrusting my car to their care for the foreseeable future.
