My family has an extensive collection of wines from the great wine regions of the world. Tracking and valuing the wines, acquiring great vintages and drinking when the timing is perfect is all par for the course at Westgarth Wines. We have been clients for over 10 years. We do not make decisions without first consulting with Alexander. It is without question that we say Westgarth Wines is the best in the business! 0 stars would be more accurate. As another reviewer commented, Westgarth Wines is, in my opinion, neither a reliable nor reputable wine retailer. I placed an order in August, 2021 with an estimated 60-90 day arrival. I followed up by email several times requesting the status of my order. I received no response. What I did receive, however, were unsolicited sales calls asking me how I enjoyed the wine I had ordered (and never received). When I confronted this business about the $1600+ in wine I never received, I was told they would “check in shipping.” I have canceled my order and requested a refund.I don’t particularly enjoy going to court as a hobby, but for this retailer, I will make an exception if I don’t receive a full refund.

Very questionable business practices. Found the wine I wanted, ordered it and then was told it could take 4 months to get it. I told them I don't want to wait 4 months for this wine, I received an email back that said basically too bad so sad we do not offer refunds. SO I am at their mercy on when I get the product but they have already received their money. 4 MONTHS!!!! Definitely the last purchase from this place.

BUYER BEWARE. This business takes online orders for wine and spirits at what appear to be competitive prices. Having placed a significant order, I was required to immediately pay the entire balance due. I was given a 60 to 90 day delivery estimate from the August, 2021 order date and informed I would be contacted when my order was ready for delivery. I waited nearly five months for my order to be honored, and emailed asking for an update. No response. What I did receive were unsolicited sales calls, including sales calls asking how I liked the wine I had ordered. Yes, that's right, this retailer didn't even know it had never delivered the wine I had already purchased. When I asked most recently where my order was, I was told they had asked "Summer in logistics" would check on my order.So I decided I would just take a look at this fine wine retailer that took my order. Is it a warehouse? Retail store? Not exactly.....it's an executive suite. Finally, this business's response to my request for a refund has been thus far no response at all. BUYER BEWARE. Do the homework I failed to do before I ordered.
