Got treated very unfriendly by the Staff at the front desk

Actually a nice hotel in very location. But we had a humming sound with slight vibration all night that other reviews mentioned as well.
But front desk staff is just unbearable. Never encountered a more miserable and mean person, even towards children. Can one believe that? What’s wrong at this branch Hilton Inc.?

Family stay with 2 children for 3 days on August 21. Our room on the 4th floor vibrated from floor to ceiling, impossible to sleep there. The receptionist is sorry, they don't have another room and doesn't provide us with an explanation. The manager who was working next door ended up telling us that they have a major problem with the fan for the ventilation system in the restaurant's kitchen and that they are trying to resolve it as quickly as possible; she specifies that the kitchen finishes at 10 a.m., they will turn off the fan at that same time. Frankly, we would have liked to be notified upon arrival at 7 p.m. We are tired, the reservation is made by a third party, so we decide to eat and wait until 10 a.m., even if we get up the next day at 6 a.m. to go to Disney. The fan shut off at 10:22, I called at 10:15. I learned in the meantime that he would leave at 7am. The air conditioning was also noisy after 10:22 so we slept with earplugs. I requested that we be moved to a different floor and area for the next 2 nights.
2nd day: we returned from our activity around 8:30 p.m., I made sure by phone that we had changed rooms. When we arrive, we are still on the 4th floor! 3 bedrooms separate us from the previous one! but we no longer feel the vibrations (which will exist until we leave, perceptible by touching our old door). Our neighbor's air conditioning makes 51 dB every time it starts (I downloaded a sound level meter at 3 a.m. on my phone to measure), we turned ours off. Earplugs for everyone and for the 2 nights, our 9 year old boy had never worn one before.
They offered us 50€ on the restaurant on the first evening which is quite expensive so I recommend the cheesecake factory next door. It was good anyway.
A hotel may encounter technical problems but the communication was deplorable, almost condescending, the actions taken were not up to par and the service to possibly offer to relocate us was non-existent (when I insinuated that I wanted to leave the hotel). hotel (I saw that it would have suited them). HUGE disappointment for this investment which was to end a beautiful 3-week trip, it spoiled the finale for us. I have been traveling to Los Angeles every 3 months for many years, this was my first with my family, it was the worst situation I have ever experienced.
The hotel is really well located but if you are tempted, avoid the top floor and the part above the kitchens. They need to do work on the sound insulation even once the fan is repaired.

?✨ Our stay at the Jamaica Inn was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our anniversary weekend special.
Jasmine at the front desk gave us the warmest welcome, helped us check in early and even sent a little surprise for our anniversary Christopher, the valet, was super helpful and friendly and made everything easy for us. Taylor, the bartender, mixed the best margaritas and made our evenings enjoyable.
The location is unbeatable with beautiful views and easy access to everything. Thanks to the amazing team for making our stay unforgettable.
We can’t wait to come back! ??️?
Walkability: Not only is it in the marina beach, Venice beach is a short walk away. Lots of dining options nearby!
Noteworthy details: The hotel is very well maintained, especially considering its age.

Beautiful location. Great place to stay and awesome service. I forgot to print something and I asked the front desk if they had a printer they did not but they printed it for me. Great service.
Rooms: Rooms were spacious and large modern and amazing.
Food & drinks: Had a nice Cesar salad for dinner and it was amazing. Wife and kid had dessert down stairs and they loved it.

I booked this hotel for a couple of nights on a trip with my spouse and we were pleasantly surprised! The rooms were huge and included a balcony and easy access to the marina beach. Only dinged because our room smelled like smoke - we think it was leftover from many years ago so the smell wasn’t strong but it was still noticeable.
Rooms: Rooms have vaulted ceilings which made the large space feel even larger. Our room included a mini fridge but no microwave. Beds were decent - not the comfiest I’ve experienced but didn’t make my back hurt like many hotel beds do.
Safety: Felt very safe in the area including coming and going in the dark.
Food & drinks: The restaurant in the hotel had great breakfast and a great view but it was a little pricey for what it was.

Beachfront hotel with great amenities and fantastic staff! The rooms are well appointed and properly maintained. The on site restaurant serves great food and drinks.
Nearby activities: Kayak and paddle board rentals are right out the hotels back door.

Staff is great. Location is good. Room is good. No complimentary water after 10 even though the room is very expensive and I'm a diamond member. Expensive parking. Loud air conditioning. Just not what you expect for the price.

Hotel was ok. The pool and hot tub were dirty and the water was green. We were not able to enjoy our balcony as people were smoking causing the smoke to ruin our peace. The hotel staff looked to see if they saw anyone and then told me there was nothing they could do about it. The marina view rooms are above the restaurant making it loud, you can hear conversations straight from the tables onto the balcony and into the room.

Had a nice time at the hotel, besides some staff issues. We had some problems checking in and were offered no possible solutions and instead a cold/rude demeanor. Also a couple days later when I needed a bandaid I kindly asked, but was told “No. We don’t have that.” by one staff member, yet when I asked another I was given one immediately.
We had Ana as the staff who was in both of these situations. Otherwise we had a great time and a nice trip.

BRAYAN (front desk) is exceptional. I stayed the night of April 11, 2024. He helped me to resolve why the back hatch of the rental could be opened by hand even though it was locked. He then waived the parking fees due to a billing issue. He is exceptional. Hope he still there.
