Except SWB is tucked in strategically next to The Side Walk Cafe....so if your not keeping an eye out you could clearly walk past it .Books, manuscripts and literature inside range from Self-Help to Women's Rights, to Sex, Religion, Esoteric,History, modern and Historic, plus so much more,. It's a dog friendly store. It's the place I met Ralphy the Dog, what a cutie , thanks Katie... And the Resident Cat Franny. Definitely worth a stop in while on the Venice Boardwalk.”

Besides the good deals you can find on movies and video games, this BookOff location carries a large, Japanese language section for manga, art books, and anime-related books. Kinokuniya stores around town may carry new items of this type, but this BookOff is the only place in the country that I've seen a USED Japanese manga section, especially at this size and so well priced. I've been able to collect the original Dragon Ball run for just a few dollars a volume, as well as stumble on art books I never would have been exposed to in the US. Honestly if you can't afford a trip to Japan, come here instead!”
