I wish I could give more than 5 stars because Beach Babies is the best daycare in the Manhattan Beach area and beyond. It was our son's second home for over 2 years and we miss them everyday! We only left because we moved from the area, otherwise we would be there as long as possible. My son loved his teachers and going to school every day! We would drive past the building on his days off and he would scream in excitement that he couldn't wait to go. All of the staff and teachers were amazing! They go above and beyond for the families and the students. Every holiday is celebrated with beautiful art, music and activities. It's such a happy place each day, there is always music and dancing and laughing. You truly see the joy on all the kids faces. My son learned Spanish, songs and his vocabulary grew exponentially each month. Most importantly he felt happy and safe! The curriculum for each level is beyond impressive. My son learned so much and created so much art! We received yearly developmental assessments from the teachers and daily updates on the ProCare app. There were so many community events such as the book fair, the pancake breakfast, trunk-or-treat, pumpkin patch and aquarium outings, Christmas show and more. The enrichment program is second to none. Coach Mike, Webby and Music John are gems! My son had so much fun in each of these programs and would come home talking about them non-stop. There is a cook on-site who makes fresh, healthy and delicious food options each day! The teachers and administrators are outstanding! Caring, organized and smart. Everyone is truly committed to making BB the best is can be. If you live in the area and want the best for your children. send them to Beach Babies! We love them so much and are so grateful for everything they did for our son!

My daughter only came to this center for about 6 months, and she loved it a lot! It's been over a year since we left (moved to another location of Beach Babies that was more conveniently located for our commute), but my daughter still remembers her teacher and classmates. This particular center has feeling of a home-based daycare with small group size, teachers who've been there for a long time, and smaller center overall. The director of the center, Ms.Yajaira is so kind, caring, and attentive to the details! We are very grateful to this center for all the love and amazing care they provided!

I'm sure the day care is great but the wait list seems to be some kind of a scam. We called when we first were signing up to ask if any openings coming up before we put ourselves on the waitlist. They assured us there were. We paid the money to go on the waitlist. Now a year later and total crickets. We haven't been offered a single opening at any location. I don't know if the waitlist is just a way for them to get money from desperate parents or they are really just that booked up, but either way seems disingenuous to keep collecting money form people to go on a waitlist with no updates ever about whether there may or may not be an opening at some point in the future. If you are at the school I'm sure it's great but wouldn't recommend the waitlist.

Looking for a caring, fun, well-organized childcare environment? Beach Babies will rock your child's (and your) world! Well-known throughout the Beach Cities as a highly-desirable infant care, toddler care, pre-school, and pre-K provider, our Beach Babies location absolutely lives up to the hype!As first-time parents, we were nervous about sending our little one to daycare, especially during Covid. Thank you, Beach Babies, for providing such a wonderful introduction to the joys of learning! Caring, community, communication (and convenience) are words that immediately come to mind. Shoutout to Ms. Laurie and Ms. Yajaira for inviting us to join BB1 off the waitlist! We are super thankful! Some especial highlights of the experience include:-CARING center leadership, teachers, and staff: Program Director Ms. Yajaira helms BB1 with a wonderful combination of knowledge, organizational capability, and fun-loving humor. She is so smiley and jolly - our little one loves to interact with her! As Lead Teacher, Ms. Brandy infuses the center with her bubbly cheer and deep commitment to integrating inclusive diversity into the curriculum. I was surprised and so delighted when Ms. Brandy reached out for my help in developing a lesson that highlighted our family's cultural traditions. Ms. Jessica and her team are always caring, creative, and observant! In addition to guiding the class through full days of play-based art, language, science, reading, and music, they celebrate our little one's growth, keep us abreast of new developments, and help build her social, intellectual, and physical capabilities and confidence! The teachers are aware of your child's individual small habits. Shout-outs also to Ms. Vero, Ms. Nilah, Ms. Emily, and Ms. Marilyn! Our kiddo has grown enormously since starting at BB1.-COMMUNITY: in addition to offering a well-organized program, Beach Babies has created an awesome, supportive community. Ms. Yajaira has shared valuable professional and personal guidance on child-raising topics ranging from handling common kid illnesses to navigating transitions. As the world slowly emerges from Covid, BB1 has started re-introducing in-person events such as the Holiday Show and Ice Cream Social, which are great ways to meet other BB1 families, who have all been friendly and nice. There was even a winter snow day, where BB1 imported a huge snow hill for the kids to sled and play! Shoot, I wanted to sled down the hill myself! As a Covid-cautious family, we really appreciate that the events are held outdoors. -COMMUNICATION & CONVENIENCE: Across offering the full spectrum of care from infants through pre-K, low student-teacher ratios, and M-F 7am-6pm hours, Beach Babies frequently sends communications and thoughtfully creates valuable convenience for parents. For example, Ms. Yajaira and her team send out monthly newsletters with updates by classroom, reminders of upcoming holidays/breaks/staff development days and meetings, and other helpful news. Also, the Procare app gives parents daily access to the weekly themed curricular activities, meals, snacks, etc that your child is enjoying. The app even shares your child's nap start and end times, a highlight of the day, and "bigger" potty breaks. As further examples, while monthly tuition may be more premium than some other local schools, the "all-inclusive" pricing includes BREAKFAST AND LUNCH MADE BY AN ON-SITE COOK AND TWO DAILY SNACKS (including a handy take-home snack that your kid can pick daily!), diapers, wipes, and even sunscreen! Let me tell you, parents, once you get used to the niceties that Beach Babies provides, it is very hard to even conceive of letting these conveniences go. Our little one and we have so enjoyed being part of the Beach Babies community and have proactively recommended it to many friends and neighbors, some of whom have already joined the Beach Babies family!

We had the BEST experience at Beach Babies 1. My daughter attended for 2 years in their preschool and Kinder prep programs. The Beach Babies organization is so well-run and the teachers are AMAZING! My daughter has a lot of anxiety and they were so loving, patient, and kind with her. She has grown and blossomed during her time at Beach Babies and I will be forever grateful for the wonderful, supportive staff. On top of that they have a stellar academic program and I feel confident that my daughter is ready for Kindergarten. I think most importantly, as a parent, I had peace of mind dropping my child off everyday. I knew she would be well taken of and have fun. Beach Babies is also really great at communication. I loved the Procare app! I would get updates throughout the day about what my daughter was learning, eating and doing. I especially loved the "Highlight of My Day," which was a note about something cute, fun or interesting that my daughter specifically did that day. All in all, such a great place-- HIGHLY recommend!

We have had such a great experience at Beach Babies- Rosecrans. Both of our kids went from the baby room through the Dolphin house (pre-school) and loved every minute. The staff is incredibly loving and the staff turnover is very low so you get to know the people taking care of your kids well over the years. The administration is welcoming and always open to hear comments and concerns and they keep parents informed on schoolwide and individual child updates. It's a great little community and we have made life-long friends with the adults and kids. My kids, one graduated in 2019 and the other graduating this year, prefer to get together on the weekends with their Beach Babies friends over their school and neighborhood friends. As a mom who had a lot of anxiety about going back to work after having our daughter, I am so happy to have found Beach Babies because it gave me the comfort and support to continue working as I knew my children were in the best hands and so loved and could really thrive in the Beach Babies environment.

My daughter has been attending Beach Babies for three years. They are amazing and as a teacher myself, am impressed with their curriculum. All of the teachers are loving and caring. They make my daughter feel special. I have peace of mind that I am giving my child the best care possible while I have to work. Thank you Beach Babies for all the love and care you give my little girl, she is happy and learning so many things.
